Just been contemplating this morning on that age old passing down of knowledge and story telling which much has been made illegal by politicians and the financial systems obsession for more money at all costs.
I’ve really had a very active past which I was born into and circumstances keep changing as my life adjusted.
By my own decisions, I’ve enclosed my life as other’s peoples circumstances and problems would have driven me nuts or because of my career talents, I’d be volunteered into many different situations.
I went one way t o keep my happiness and sanity while more and more government interference keeps creeping in.
Politics is a huge snake of other’s imposing shit on you in the name of safety or for your well being.
Over those decades, they’ve boxed themselves into a group thinking of corruption and bad policies.
Freedom is not having those restrictions and being able to pass on my knowledge and experiences which I can’t do.
Much would still be classed as illegal in the techniques of creating many different avenues, mostly in the woodworking field.
None of it is hazardous but safety regulations deemed them illegal.
This wonderful world of the internet, expanded my knowledge far beyond what I would have expected.
But again, it’s boxed by our corruption in this political system.
I would love to one day pass this down as it is huge as I was a magnet to knowledge that wasn’t being taught or even contemplated in some distinct areas.
I have build many beautiful things with my hands in my short period of life.
I didn’t know this hard physical labor was my normal way of life in which techniques would be my extra helper when in need.
I still contain much knowledge in some highly crafted workmanship but have no one to pass this down to…
Regarding Modern Monetary Policy (MMT), it’s main problem is that the money spent never goes to the poor people it was promised to. Let that sink in. It goes to the people who promise to help the poor people. Let that sink in even further. So it doesn’t matter if MMT causes massive inflation. You get most of the money, convert the money into assets like expensive homes, and when inflation rises you get an increase in salary to combat inflation. Why wouldn’t you support MMT? Notice how its supporters are all university professors, union reps, politicians, and do-gooders – all feeding at the public trough? It’s your money they are spending. You will never get it back.
In 1982, inflation was above 10% (by comparison, it was 5% in December and 7.5% in January). I had a mortgage at 14% and a car loan at 19%. Since the housing market is built on what people can afford per month, the house cost $85,000 at that time. Today, the car is likely to cost that. What do you suppose will happen to house prices if interest rates hit even 6%?
In 1999, I was flying high in the tech market bubble. Naysayers pointed out the “irrational exuberance” of the market citing something called “the Tulip Crisis of 1600 and whatever”. Smart people told them they were being ridiculous, that because this was tech it would be different. It wasn’t. I turned $25,000 into $750,000 in 4 months and ultimately lost it all.
A very knowledgeable friend says there are only 3 ways to get out from under deficits like we are currently experiencing; raise taxes, cut spending or inflate it away. We all know which approach is going to be used. From economics courses at university, I know just enough about the subject to be dangerous. Even I can see that Modern Monetary Theory is bullshit. The Emperor has no clothes. The pain that’s coming is inevitable. Buckle up!

It was today reported that Russia is planning to invade Ukraine on Wednesday, according to a credible intelligence report, as US President Joe Biden urgently arranged a telephone call with Vladimir Putin in a bid to prevent war.
I always thought that a claim like that would be a little higher in any news story? Not mentioned 14 paragraphs lower, after breathlees descriptions of the pool and disco?
