Reminds me of the farce of a eulogy delivered by the princess at his dad’s funeral in 2000, (although Fidel, his real dad?) was sitting in the front row. Forgive me, I digress.
It was composed by his buddy, Gerald Butthead. Do you remember the first line? I guess ol’ Gerry thought he was being a sage. It was the shop worn line from Marc Antony in the bard’s “Julius Caesar”: “Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears …”.
That is when the cringe began, and it only got worse. The princess then related tales of canoe trips north of 60 and other assorted stereotypes of CBC Canadiana. The bile started to rise.
It finally culminated with the princess pausing in front of PET’S casket, whereupon he placed his fairy head on said casket, and moaned, “Oh, Papa!”
Wonder how many times he rehearsed the scene at his mansion?
Cue the projectile vomiting.
Maybe the worst part of the whole farce was the standing ovation. First time I ever witnessed applause at a man’s funeral. Appears to be de rigeur now in our post-Christian world. Bread and circuses indeed.
Oh Lord, we need your Second Coming tout de suite, we beseech you. Save us all from the incessant evil that has polluted our midst.

Hey, heads up and request to pass to Freedom Convoy organization. I recon around and counter convoy Ottawans are actively being encouraged to vid or take photos to identify and notify companies of trucks with logos/company identifying characteristics. Article here but also note that “On Feb. 6, the website convoytraitors dot ca (modified the web address so as not to give a hot link but one is in the article), initiated by an Ottawa IT specialist, started posting names of companies that had trucks in the protest area, along with photos with the intent of “naming and shaming” those involved. ”
