To avoid loading from Twitter, we’ve been downloading and rehosting certain videos that we think may be at risk of deletion or account suspension.
As it turns out, you folks are bringing the server down, thus the morning service interruptions. Until they make the long promised move to a new server, we’ll return to embedding these video tweets.
I have to say I am enjoying surfing thru twitter.

Thanks for the note, Kate. I’ve seen “cannot establish a connection” a couple of times this morning. My Chromebook can’t do anything to the Twitter pages, so I guess I miss some stories. ’tis life, and not that important.

Historically the server gets pounded late at night by scrapers, so it sometimes goes down briefly near midnight.
Kate, I have been following your blog since 2006 under different monikers (some did not make sense any more, so I picked a more generic one). I have seen many exterior links to Small Dead Animals lately (Rex Murphy’s column likely a catalyst). I imagine your traffic has increased quite a bit! So glad to see that our perspective is gaining ground. Way to go Kate and all the helpers!! Oh, and GO TRUCKERS!!
