  1. Easy solution:
All restrictions adopted after Jan 1, 2020 should be cancelled immediately.
    No more vaccine passports.
    No more vaccine mandates.
    No more mask mandates.
    No more lockdowns.
    No more mandatory testing.
Any adult who wants to get a vaccine (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th shot, etc) is free to get it.
Vaccination of children should be allowed only based on written instruction from the family doctor who would be required to assume liability in case something happens.
Immediate defunding of the CBC. People who want to support the CBC should be doing so by using GoFundMe.

    (please share widely)

Sure, if most of the above happens, it is very likely that Trudeau will leave.

    1. “Vaccination of children should be allowed only based on written instruction from the family doctor who would be required to assume liability in case something happens.”

Disagree enough with medical tyranny. Let parents decide, if Libranos want to retroactively abort their litter then I say go for it.

      1. Vaccination of children should be discouraged until there is more known about the side effects and shortfalls. It’s one thing to use an ‘approved for emergency’ vaccine on an older or immune/health compromised person, quite another to inject it into a child who has their whole life ahead of them. We have all kinds of people telling us the world is going to end in 8 years and now they are telling us they KNOW the vaccine is safe and saves lives. But they don’t know. No one does for certain. The medical world were wrong about the two doses and wrong about spreading it. Canadians don’t think their government would lie to them. And they have. And Corporal Bulford seems to confirm the government is also guilty of withholding care.

    2. Glad you’re on board with the CBC. Good idea on Go Fund Me for CBC funding; it would look good on them

    3. I’m cool with that and that’s the outcome I personally want but I think Gurney’s more worried about what happens when the mob isn’t the one we want, with demands we can’t give in to.

    4. All gubmint databases assembled under the guise of vaccine passports detailing personal and private information to be destroyed publicly. Unlike the queerbeckers secretly maintaining the gun control records they are supposed to have destroyed.

  2. The Trudeau Media and Trudeau’s comrades are in way deeper shit than they think.
They have forgotten that John Galt drives a food and fuel truck.
If they are stupid enough to get rough with the protesters, who is going to haul food and fuel to Ottawa?
Who is going to fix the telephones, repair the toilets. service the government vehicles, etc etc etc?
The workers of the world have united.

    1. Yes. It would be very very stupid to escalate this. For the truckers sake, I hope someone in power realizes this.

    2. Too bad he didn’t follow up on military history and notice that forces don’t normally attack their own supply lines. Probably there is a good reason for that. But this is a display tactical IQ common to the professional liars.
Reads more like a piece to put the idea out there for use of force and judge the response. Maybe giving him too much credit at that.

      1. Morris – I suspect you’re talking about a true believer, history is only true as it fits the lens he puts around it. The idea that a mass gathering could 1) keep the peace 2) clean up after itself 3) Disband voluntarily once its reason for being has been met, is totally foreign to him. He’s not smart enough to see that this is one limb of society that is flexing its muscles not in anticipation of attacking its own anus (arguably the body part closest to the function of folks like him) but as a reminder that “hey, here is where some of your strength, that you’ve been depending upon for years, resides. And now you’re telling us that we must volunarily weaken? Then what will happen next time you need that strength?”.

The anus, in this case, can’t see that it is fed and nurtured and protected by the limbs that it’s trying to weaken or destroy. And can’t bear a thought for what would inevitably follow should the anus get its way.

    3. “The workers of the world have united.” Like that wasn’t coming a long time ago but get your point. It’s been building for a long time just needed a spark. Think it’s here.

    4. Will the snowflakes in Ottawa be reduced to boiling their socks for broth before this ends??
A HUGE part of me hopes it will in order to teach them a lesson they won’t forget.
Listen to the words of Artur Pawlowski speaking to the protestors at Coutts.

      We WIN.
The Ottawa Machine hasn’t accepted it yet.
      Eventually they will.

    1. I know what you mean so not arguing with you. Just want to make the comment that the government is not the state, it is not Canada, it is a temporary hire to manage affairs. The government is losing control because the state wants them back under proper control of the constitution.

  3. How does it get resolved? There is a clear answer to that question that doesn’t involve violence from either side. Guess what that is, Matt Gurney? Guess what that is, Trudeau?

    1. Exactly, Peggy. That possibility obviously never occurred to him. Typical Toronto self-fascinated moron. But I repeat myself.

    2. Matt Gurney is nuts. And obviously not paying attention or focused on the wrong things.
All I know about what is happening in Ottawa is there are a lot of people showing that they are sick and tired of the mandates and doing it peacefully.
He mentions bargaining. The government has refused to have a dialogue and appears to be dropping the mess in Ottawa city hall’s plate. If the Liberals would deign to recognize the convoy, something productive might happen. If they decide not to, and then use force to remove the protesters as Gurney appears to be hinting they should do, it will be a much worse outcome.

      1. It would help if We could just get some truth and honesty out of the media. Do your f’ing jobs! Quit being the PM’s prostitutes. THEY are the ones with the power to end his bs.

    3. Fascinating look into the warped mind of a Government “journalist”… Gurney is incapable of seeing freedom and a return of all rights and freedoms as a solution to the Government tyranny. His only concern is that the Government and his Media comrades have lost control of the narrative and their iron grip on unrestrained power without mandate or accountability.

Interesting that he considers the use of violence in order to halt peoples Constitutional right to protest as an acceptable solution for whenever citizens decide to exercise their rights and rise up against tyranny, it just should’ve happened sooner according to Gurly… and it shouldn’t be ruled out in the future.
Not even a thought of returning freedoms as the solution. Truly disturbing.

  4. It doesn’t surprise me that Matt Gurney is wetting his panties. He’s been hyperventilating about covid for two years straight. Now he’s doing his small part to sell the idea that there’s something dangerous about the protest. We’ve all been saying that “this ends when we say it does.” Well, the people protesting in Ottawa are about the only ones I’ve seen with the balls to stand up and say, ‘it ends here, now.’ They restored my faith in humanity. I don’t give a rat’s ass about Ottawa. If it burned to the ground tomorrow, my life would improve 1000%.

    1. I don’t want loss of life, or wanton property destruction. But I would dearly love it if roughly 20 million people decided all at once to remove themselves to the outer Hebrides and leave us the hell alone forever.

    2. He’s been hyperventilating about covid for two years straight.

These soy boys really do love giving themselves the vapours. Crate and Barrel must be selling fainting couches by the truckload nowadays.

      1. Yes but there are no trucks to deliver them at the moment. they are all occupied elsewhere at the moment.

      2. Gurney stated that he had planned on being a military historian. He should at least know what led to the Magna Carta. But maybe he never really took any history.

    3. Matt Gurney (with flak jacket and helmet on): We have lost control of Ottawa. I repeat. We have lost control of Ottawa.

  5. Trudeau could resign. How about that for starters. Then they could address the truckers’ concerns and maybe even compromise.

    1. That would be great but really all he had to do was go outside and meet with the truckers and arrange a sit down from the very first day.

But he and Butts decided to hide and call names and then hide some more.

      His window has closed.

      1. I’d have to agree the window has closed…. the BONGWHISPERER and his advisers/dope dealers screwed up.
The manchild has zero crediblity for sure, and “health reasons” would be the hillarious, but still least painfull exit route. Pray they exploit this obvious ticket out to retirement.
The world stage has no room for this incompetent fool any longer.

        1. The fool has performed flawlessly.
His handlers should not have mentioned the post-national thing in his presence, bad look.
The mandates end or the government resigns. Then the new government ends the mandates. Nothing less at this point.

    2. He could ‘go for a walk in the snow,’ like his pretend dad. Maybe that particular patch of snow could be on a mountain somewhere… and then an avalanche could happen.

    3. If the powers-that-be attempt to end this peaceful protest with a show of force then Boy Trudeau may in the end be forced to resign to bring a peaceful end to the chaos that would likely result.

  6. The city of Ottawa is “In Deep Shit?”
    NO!!!
The “Leaders and the Establishment” ARE In Deep Shit!

    What control has been lost?
    Name one person injured?!?!?!
    Name one Person Killed?
    Any Buildings Burnt Down?
    Any Stores Looted?
    Any Government Offices Ransacked?
    None! NADA! ZERO!

Confront The Protesters? WHY? How about getting off your high horse AND Negotiate.

    1. Yup.
Put that fuckwit on a gurney in some stressed out emergency room.
Leave the rails down and hope he falls onto a terrazzo floor, and gets some face whacking sense into his metrosexual, narrow head.

  7. It’s such an easy solution, that’s the strange thing. We’re following Europe’s opening. What is so hard about that? It’s been 2 years.

It’s not just Ottawa. They’re all nuts. Drop the mandates in your provinces, then he can exit gracefully. Why are the provinces being stubborn?

No guts. Look at the flak Abbott and DeSatan take. I’m surprised an ambitious pol hasn’t stepped forward.

Ohhhh, follow the grift. $20 sez just like DC had to get rid of The Donald. They’re getting exposed. Rice bowls are being broken.

    1. “Why are the Provinces being stubborn?”
One possibility is they’re being held hostage by Doctors, and Nurses and Academia unions.

  8. We? Speak for yourself.

Elites: The workers’ revolution you claimed to want has begun. The first thing it will do is bring you to justice.

Your financial backers have written you off. So have the big men with guns, who are currently deciding whether to join the people or walk away. You’re on your own.

You have three choices. Throw yourselves at our mercy, run for your lives or end it all. The choice is yours.

If you choose option three, kindly keep the number of innocent people you take with you to a bare minimum.

Tell Karl Marx we don’t miss him.

  9. Matt Gurney: “so the general non-violence is really just a lucky break.”

No Matt, it’s well planned and enforced discipline. Some might think that the truckers are just a bunch of rural rubes whose mission in life is to serve their urban masters but most seem VERY well versed in modern technology and media spin. They GET IT and know that the dark forces against them will do everything they can to precipitate violence.

    1. “Whose got the power?”

      “Donny Osmond!”

      “What?!”

Sorry, just came to mind, LOL.

    1. They have very little to fear from the soy boys. It’s hard to get into a fight with somebody who is afraid to get closer than 6 feet.

  10. We are not in deep shit. The trucker protests are inspiring. Ottawa just needs to negotiate. They have put in place some very foolish policies, the pandemic is on the wane, so can’t be that difficult. Just back off of foolish mandates. We do not need a repeat of the Odessa Steps. Surely, when people clearly signal that they are unhappy with the government, sensible governments negotiate.

  11. The only deep shit that Matt Gurney will find is in his extra large Depends control top man panties.

    1. extra large Depends control top man panties

When my dog got old and incontinent, I started putting those on him. They really work, and were a fraction of the “doggy diapers” at the pet store!

I always had a chuckle at the till when buying them. I’ll be back in 40 years to buy more for myself!

  12. Literally all they have to do is do what the people want. That’s how this country used to work when it was a free and democratic country. Trudeau’s to blame for sure but the official opposition gave them the power to do this.

  13. When the real shit starts – and it could – then lead flies.
Assholes can speak about peace and negotiations all they want, but Juthtin, Butts, Telford, the Libranos and the Laurentian Elite know that if they lose this, they lose everything.
The Ottawa Bureaucracy, both retired and “active” could kill one hundred thousand Canadians with a diktat to preserve their pensions and sleep like babes afterword.

A fight will be provoked if possible.
Its not like they will suffer.
So maybe this is what Guernsey fears, I don’t really care, that he’ll have to watch Canadians spill each others blood while the names above continue their lives of luxury.

  14. Wow, is this guy ever smart. His whole strategy is that there is a revolt in Ottawa that has to be put down. Even monarchs of the past realized that you rule with the consent of the governed. When you deviate from this you get things like the peasant’s revolt, the English civil war and the American revolution. The government of Canada and most of the Provincial governments are on this track. They no longer have the people’s consent. Canada is a particularly precarious place because there are not nearly enough security types to ‘keep people in line’. At some point the government is going to have to recognize that the folks outside parliament aren’t going to just leave. If they try stupid violent things life will get ugly, for the people at first but ultimately for the government. It only takes a little rudimentary math to realize that the population of Canada is well past what any of the police forces can handle if there is determined resistance even if it’s peaceful resistance.

  15. “Everyone sees this. This is a massive failure of the state.”

    Is this guy new?
What isn’t “a massive failure of the state”?

  16. The ‘Problem’ (Trudeau and ilk) cannot just go away yet. They have way too much corruption to cover up and bury. That takes time.

  17. This country has been in “deep, deep shit” when it decided to turf the banal economist Harper for the idiotic low-intellect and thin-skinned shemale castreau. His second minority “win” just made the pile deeper.

Lots of chickens are pecking their way back to the roost, now.

  18. In Twitter jail so cannot respond directly to Matt.

The poor man thinks the country is in deep shit. Bouncy castles and hay bales and dance parties at -10 are not deep. They are a puddle. He thinks we’re lucky that, so far, there has been limited (well, er, no) violence. He is surprised that the various governments were surprised by the scale of the truckers’ intervention.

He hints that the military might be needed to restore control. And he’s right. The military might well be needed to restore the sort of control he seems to lust after. All the truckers sent home with massive fines and a lot of equipment seized. As an amateur military historian he is, no doubt familiar with Napoleon’s happy use of artillery to quell the Parisian mob.

Here’s the thing, Matt, the Paris mob were not sitting in rather large vehicles. Nor did they have 100’s of other large vehicles parked around town. To this point the truckers have been orderly, kind, obeyed the police orders to park miles away from Parliament Hill, and, albeit noisy, peaceful. That could change.

All it takes is one or two big rigs deciding to no longer comply and the police blockades are over.

Matt seems eager for a bit of a police and army push back against the truckers. My advice, “Don’t poke the bear.” Antifa and the BLM crowd lite a lot of police cars on fire. The truckers could simply push all of them into a pile.

It is very clear that the truckers do not want confrontation. If they did they could have had it five days ago. What Matt does not understand is that the existence of the Ottawa Police Force depends on the good natured forbearance of the truckers. It would be wise to continue to encourage that restraint. A fact the rank and file of the Ottawa Police Force is well aware of. I suspect that the wrong order will send that rank and file out sick immediately.

The military solution suffers from the same problems. It would take a week for the military to mobilize, if they could mobilize as they would face the same problem with their rank and file. And, short of sending in tanks with live ammo, it is not at all clear what the military could actually do. It takes nothing away from the CAF to note that 1000 big rigs with more available is not an enemy which they have been trained to fight.

Matt deliberately ignores the obvious solution: the governments, federal and provincial, need to dump mandates, passports, travel restrictions immediately. They don’t work against Omicron. They violate our Charter Rights. And the virus is fading fast. The politicians need to face reality. The truckers have simply pushed reality into view.

    And while I’m here: #HONKHONK

    1. Perfectly stated Jay Curry.

Elites like Gurney are so intelligent they cannot see the obvious , and are hoping the Convoy becomes violent and hoping it fails.
      Bizarre.

      1. Gurney can’t believe his controllers are so disoriented and seemingly helpless. He fantasizes about Da Fürher ordering fresh divisions into the fray, but instead he’s in his bunker ranting about how everyone has let him down. I imagine Charles Schwab and George Soros are very disappointed in little potato.

  19. The last week is just the icing on a cake that’s been baking for two years. We are all well aware of the incompetence thank you very much. It’s not just Canada, the entire Western world took a stupid, impossible approach to a respiratory virus. They removed all human rights and dignity of their own citizens. They used “nudge” units to scare the f***king hell out of everyone in order to comply. There’s been calls from the smarter ones like Bret Weinstein and Dr. Bhattacharya that when this is all over we should be nice to the cult members. I don’t think so. And the longer they refuse to remove all measures the more I don’t think so.

  20. Incredible to see how many elite and leftists actually believe they cannot negotiate because this is a fascist movement funded by secret actors in the US. Also of course others believe you cannot negotiate with white supremacists.

Is it even possible to reason with people like that?

  21. Gurney sounds neurotic. I miss George Jonas and Christie Blatchford. National Post has lost its way.

  22. A “historian” who doesn’t understand that government’s (and the government supporting apparatus of the media and the bureaucracy) rule with the consent of the people.
What we are seeing is the people saying “we do not consent to that”.

  23. Gurney displays the short sighted, delusional, self centered thinking of most left leaning journalists.

I’m old enough to remember when Journalism was a profession, it is now an echo chamber of arrogant idiots falling over each other to be the first to spiral down the bowl of the water closet on the way to the septic tank.

He doesn’t appear to have anything close to the strategic thinking skills nor the imagination required to escape the gravitational pull of the mass of his educational indoctrination.

He clearly believes he is a strategic thinker, he’s not, he might as well be using a ouja board.

His revelation of interests says a lot about how he sees himself. He should focus more on how other people see him.
