Justin’s Puppet Masters and the Protest Against Them

This is a video from a few days ago in which Gad Saad interviews one of the protest organizers, BJ Dichter. It’s absolutely fascinating to watch, not just to better understand how the protest came together and what their strategies are, but also to understand why so much of what Justin Trudeau says and does makes no sense.

h/t Watcher

Here’s a message from Jordan Peterson that’s also well worth watching.

  1. Peterson tells conservative premiers and O’Noodle to “seize the day”. So, O’Noodle bails out and Kenney spreads rumours about an alleged incident at Coutts.

    1. Imagine being handed such a golden opportunity and O’Toole blows it. Maybe his masters wouldn’t let him?!

      1. Robert, at 29:00 Dichter reveals its THE SAME LOBBY FIRM (Katie Telford, her husband Rob Silver and 2 others) advise BOTH the Libranos and Conservatives with policy decisions.
The entire conversation is a must watch

        1. Yes, I heard that too. I’m more familiar with the despicable Gerry Butts and not so much Katie Telford.

If DC is a swamp, what does one call Ottawa in February?

  2. Gentlemen,
Thank you so much for a calm, rational conversation. I learn more in your conversation then 60 years worth CBC/NFB/CTV/GLOBAL/CRTC state sanctioned BS.
Once we end the Mandate/Lockdown we need to seriously look at defunding the CBC/CRTC/Unifor media. The cost savings can be immediately directed on a short term basis, with a defined sunset clause say 2 years, for the tsunami of health care problems(heart/cancer/mental health/ I know there is more) coming out way after covid.
    Again thank you gentlemen.
God speed to the truckers and Canada

  3. I can sympathize with this convoy and the other like-minded protests. People are exasperated and can’t believe more of their fellow citizens won’t join in. If it did become a large-scale broadly based movement such as Solidarity or the Romanian freedom coalition, then it would have the moral authority that is required for a peaceful (or otherwise) removal of a widely detested regime.

It’s fair to say we don’t have that set of conditions in Canada right now, what we do have is a fairly significant minority who cannot accept the authority to rule of the current government, an equally large group who do accept it (and may even be enthusiastic to some extent) and a larger group in the middle who are apolitical and are fed up with the situation but tend to see it entirely through their local provincial lens so that they hope for change at that level of government.

I’ve heard something about this Ottawa convoy group having a manifesto for the government to step down and give the power to some odd coalition of the Senate, themselves and various others. That’s not going to fly. Whoever thought that up was dreaming in technicolour. Not only is the Senate an even worse choice for government than any coalition of the elected, these truckers have no demonstrated mandate to take office. I didn’t want to be told what to do by a hundred eco-freaks or a hundred woke feminists so why would I be much more enthused about having a hundred truckers running the government?

They should probably quit while they’re ahead. They have done a valuable thing by focusing in on the plight of millions of Canadians. There are different things truckers and others could now be doing that would perhaps be more disruptive than this. Maybe they should study the situation and do some of those things. I agree action is needed, but no action remotely like what they want is going to happen. That’s a reality check, if we had millions gung-ho to overthrow the government, maybe it could happen, but I would argue we have at best a few hundred thousand at varying levels of intensity, mostly separated by large barren tracts of winter geography.

The exasperation won’t end though. Anyone who has reached this point unvaccinated has gone through quite a trial, and must be very adamant in their beliefs. Many of our fellow citizens believe in fairy tales of various kinds, egged on by the media who like to tell stories that simply are not true. It could end in violence but there won’t be an overthrow of the government, just funerals of a lot of decent people who have no way out of this nightmare.

I would urge people to pray about this. God moves in mysterious ways. There probably is a way out, but it would be through God. The rest of the nation have turned their backs on Him. I’m sure He has noticed this.

    1. “I didn’t want to be told what to do by a hundred eco-freaks or a hundred woke feminists so why would I be much more enthused about having a hundred truckers running the government?”

The truckers aren’t working for global finance or the Chinese Communist Party.

The truckers don’t hate you and everyone you love. The truckers don’t see you as a problem to be solved. The truckers don’t want to replace you with something more to their liking.

If my choices are between a hundred truckers and a pedophile failed actor and a Nazi failed journalist, both in thrall to foreign bankers and dictators, I’ll take the truckers every single time.

So, visibly, will the nation’s military and law enforcement agencies.

Ottawa police are refusing to use force against peaceful protestors just to please the pedo and the Nazi, and have told their chief that If Chrystia wants them out, let her ask George Soros to pay an Antifa rent-a-mob to pick a fight with the truckers. It will make the truckers’ weekend.

Meanwhile, DND have judged, correctly, that this is a political problem and are refusing to intervene.

    2. Great analysis. I’m a Canadian exat who frequently travels north to see his family.

Canadians have always been much more compliant than Americans. They will always give the benefit of the doubt to the government and bureaucracy. I’m generalizing of course – but the majority – perhaps a strong majority always will.

So while a sizeable minority of people are finding their voices among the truckers the fact that conservative leaders have been caught completely off-guard and flat-footed speaks volumes. They are simply not used to anyone challenging the status quo in any meaningful way. Even down here in the Seattle area people are flaunting masking rules in the more rural areas. In my travels in the GVRD – EVERYONE is complying. Maybe if you get out to Hope people might be less compliant. Maybe out in the Okanogan.

      >> That’s a reality check, if we had millions gung-ho to overthrow the government, maybe it could happen, but I would argue we have at best a few hundred thousand at varying levels of intensity, mostly separated by large barren tracts of winter geography.

From what I saw, you’re correct. Maybe there’s a few million but only a couple hundred thousand might be willing to do something drastic. Canadians simply will not challenge the status quo.

    3. “…why would I be much more enthused about having a hundred truckers running the government?”

Peter, your elitism slip is showing. Just stop. Now. You’re embarrassing yourself on a public forum.

If I have to explain it to you, you’d never understand anyway.

And, with all respect to your belief in the Almighty, God didn’t get us into this mess.

    4. They’re not looking for regime change. It is these:
1.The federal and provincial governments terminate the vaccine passports and all other obligatory vaccine contact tracing or inter-Canada passports systems
2.Terminate CoVid vaccine mandates and respect the rights of those who wish to remain unvaccinated
3.Cease the divisive rhetoric attacking Canadians who disagree with government mandates
4.Cease to limit debate through coercive measures with the goal of censoring those who have varying and incorrect opinions

    1. Robert:
Please remove this illiterate solicitation/scam from this forum. And please do bar him/her from posting in the future.

    2. I am really interested in your way of making me rich. Can you send me your phone number, address. I would also need your credit card and bank account information so I could make a small deposit form Nigeria into your account.

      Thanks in advance

  5. It’s increasingly clear that right now Canada needs a Boris Yeltsin atop a tank moment even more if the military is going to step in as the Ottawa police chief has suggested. There is a leadership vacuum even while those in the Elite attempt to call the shots.

I see Jordan Peterson atop a big rig giving the speech of his life to TRANSFORM Canada. Does he posses the fortitude to step up? He calls for others to step up. Sorry pal, it’s really YOUR TURN TO STEP UP. But maybe it’s true after all; Canadians are a passive lot, waiting for someone else to step up. Canada, who is your Boris Yeltsin?

  6. They all seem to have been caught flat footed. It’s amazing how unprepared the government and the opposition parties are to any kind of reasonable challenge. They do not appear to have seen this coming, despite ample warning. No government actors or “journalists” (shills) seem to have had good, on the ground, intelligence or thought through any of the logistics for effective counter measures. They don’t seem to have a plan A, or a plan B, or any plan, other than the usual overused smears and tired lies. In the meantime, the Covid cult has to counteract all the streaming video showing the comradery of cheerful, wholesome, and diverse men, women, and children having a block party and playing street hockey. This is Irish Democracy on steroids.
Doesn’t Trudeau have an inner circle of advisors? No savy, hard-nosed political savants there. Credentials don’t make anyone visionary, ahead of the curve, or adroit. They may occasionally be clever word smiths, but they are also parrots whose primary skill set is networking and pandering. They had weeks to prepare a “seize the moment” response or to develop a way to finesse this. They blew whatever chance they had to coopt the energy. It is “The “Emperor Has No Clothes” moment.

    1. “It’s amazing how unprepared the government and the opposition parties are to any kind of reasonable challenge.”

One cannot accuse our elected officials of possessing foresight.

  7. We all knew how this would play out in the media and with Trudeau.
We knew that they would ignore the protest, then downplay it, then call it racist and either create an issue out of whole cloth or wildly exaggerate some non issue.
    We all saw that coming.
It is time to get ahead of the game.
Go OODA on Trudeau and the media’s ass.
Lay out Trudeau’s next move in front of the public, before it happens.

Is this what is coming next?
Trudeau needs a body count that he can use to condemn the protesters and declare victory.
So he needs to incite his crazy supporters to trigger it.

His speeches and the idiotic motion condemning violence and racism and blah blah blah at the protests is a call to arms for his useful idiots in BLM, antifa, and the rest to confront the Freedom Protesters.
He is trying to incite the violent left into doing some violence for him.
He needs some violence that he and his media liars can exploit to end the protests.
Trudeau isn’t good at math, but he probably knows now many dead Canadian bodies he needs to end this in his favor.
It won’t work without his complicit media though.

The speeches are already roughed out, the media narrative talking points are all listed and prepared.

Trudeau’s lies are an incitement to violence.
His media lackey are fully prepared to assist in his calls for violence.

How many normal Canadians and useful idiots are Trudeau and his media prepared to sacrifice to keep a vaccine mandate for a vaccine that simply does not work?

    Peterson is right.
One of the premiers should simply stand up and say it is over, no more vaccine mandates in their province, today.
Do it before Trudeau and his media can get their violence and body count.
And maybe tell the media to stop lying to Canadians and to stop trying to help Trudeau get his bloodbath.
Ask them how many dead they will accept to keep the utterly useless vaccine mandates.

    1. Ask them how many dead they will accept to keep the utterly useless vaccine mandates.

Stalin said that one death is a tragedy, but a million is a statistic. Prinz Dummkopf will make us pay any price, bear any burden in order for him to stay in power.

  8. Its amusing how Andrew Coyne and Warren Kinsella write the same lickspittle columns now with the usual word salad of QAnon, conspiracy theorists, MAGA, etc.

  9. Where were the official opposition parties when Trudy decided he owned the private healthcare data of Canadians? This is just another example of how abusive the liberal party has become to the people they are suppose to work for. I will not be part of the great reset, my personal data is not for sale.

  10. It seems that the most important division in Canada is the same as in the US: between the people on one side who realize the news media are 95% horrible, dishonest party hacks, and people on the other side who believe they’re getting a good understanding of what’s going on from the media. The future of freedom & self-government depends on more people moving from the second group into the first.

  11. Exactly, “Epistemic humility” is woefully lacking especially in our ‘Experts’ – particularly in “Dr.The $cience TM Fauci” and Dr.Tam. Thank you SDA, Gad & BJ for intelligent discourse. Last point, I have often thought that rather than age being the determining factor as to being allowed to vote, an intelligence test should be administered.
