      Had respect for Kenney years ago but that’s gone. Had respect for Doug and what he did for Toronto but he blew it <sarc. Voted for Rob but regret that dearly. Don't really know what the fouck happened to them but it revolves around being out of touch with those that brought you to the party in the first place.

      Oh wait I had a flash. They all bent over with their brown holes pointed skyward, exposed, waiting for those wad$ to be plugged in their to bung holes. Sad.

      I voted PPC last round and still feel good about that.

    1. How far is it to the Flying J? You can meet with protesters there, any other truck stop or politely invite them to your office. The latter might work best for you, they can help you move out.

      1. Nearest Flying J is in Calgary. About 200 miles away. No real truck stops in Lethbridge, 65 miles away.
        Best place to set up would be the Travel Alberta Centre in Milk River ten miles up the road. But even that might be beneath Fat Kenney.

    I find that difficult to believe. There are two gas stations in Sweetgrass, MT, adjacent to Coutts on the 49th. It may not have been filet mignon but I’d be very surprised that there was zero food for 3 days. There’s also a bar there, the Glocca Morra, that’s usually open. Although it’s been a couple years since I was last there, they serve food.

      The Glocca Mora (called the Glock by locals) is a good place to eat in Sweetgrass.
      Jason Herring of Post Media only interviewed George Chahal for a local Calgary politician perspective. Then he located George’s brother in Sweetgrass to get an anti-protest remark from a trucker.

  21. Band wagoners without foresight thought Kenny would be great. Tried to get people to realize, he has never accomplished anything in his life other than master coattail tobogganing. He was going to be a great disappointment and it was written everywhere in his history if you just bothered to look. Same went for O’Toole. It was a bad choice from the start, and apparent to everyone on day one. Stop picking people by association or by something they said once.

    We now have a chance to get a change federally. O’Toole is gone, thank god. But will the same short sightedness give us another Scheer, O’Toole, McKay, Campbell, Clark, you know the rest. Or will we recognize our gifts, and utilize them instead of believing what is not really there? People are saying Polievre for leader. He’s an attack dog. He’s annoying at times, aggravating, abrasive, and hard to like. That’s what makes him so good at that role. Like John Baird, he can create room where none existed. He can flatten, and destroy. But as a leader to appeal to all? No way. The left will paint him to suit whatever image they wish because he checks off all their boxes. White? Check. Male? Check? Straight? Check. Old stock? Check.

    If they put Leslyn in charge, and that’s how I will vote at the convention, you set aside all the usual attacks. You put a completely different face on the party, and Polievre is free to do what he does best, which is attack. Leslyn would completely disable the Liberal smear machine, and the chances of Conservative majority, all but assured. If they make the mistake and take Polievre out of his natural element, and hoist him up as leader, he will have to contend with being attacked, being stabbed by his own party, and still try to do his old job. While Leslyn will add little as background filler. So you lose your face, your most potent weapon, and maybe even the next election.

    Let’s use our heads this time, and stop picking leaders, stupidly.

Better to let PP run rampant now and ride the CPC into the ground as he takes the LPC down with him before the party neuters him. Both parties need to be destroyed. Unleash PP or watch another O’Toole imposed from above. The time for niceties is over. We are on the rise above Pellenor facing the great host of orcs and we need to charge. I want PP as my general.
