A walk down memory lane

I guess “99% certain” just doesn’t mean what it used to.

“I have all the confidence in the world that we’re going to go back to where we were before the pandemic,” he said. “The economy will be absolutely booming as sure as I’m standing here.”

Despite comments made by Toronto Mayor John Tory earlier this week about the province needing vaccine passports moving forward, Ford said, “we aren’t doing it; simple as that,” and added that he doesn’t want to create “a split society.”

  1. I wish Ford was right and that piece of shit Tory wrong, but I’m not particularly confident. Weasels like Tory and his depraved ilk have the upper hand right now, in no small part because of the pearl-clutching Karens who are fainting at the very idea of the trucker convoy.

    1. Yeppers. Just like, “The province won’t be locked down again”. I don’t trust what politicians spew at the best of times, but after that, every word coming out of his piehole is a lie. That’s what cost the UPC my support. Add the Coprolite & Hinshaw & you have a perfect storm.

      1. If everyone says NO, it won’t be. Canadians however are so stupid they will bend over and take whatever is shoved their way. Prove me wrong. So far only the truckers have been able to give me any hope, and it took two years and the threat of shooting poison in them just to do their jobs that finally made them stand up and take action, and it is good.

  2. Ford wants to be able to lift the mandates in a glorious “TA-DA” as his campaign is about to begin.

      1. Refuse to fucking comply. Jesus is everyone stupid?. Don’t answer that I see it every day.

    1. Exactly, Seams Right.

Big yellow power-hungry bastard is no different than turdo la doo.

  3. Politicians have forgotten they work for the people, it’s time to inform them they are fired if they cross one more ethical line via our civil liberties. I will not comply, no vaccine and no passport and guess what I’ll survive just fine.

You n me for damned sure. Been hanging with multiple friends – all dbl/triple vaxxed..their entire crew working at a local dealership in S Calgary…ALL OF whom picked up the Omigodicron… at least 3/4 of them had to go home sick as dogs…the only 2 non Vaxxed strangely enough “tested” Pos…told to stay away for 14 days…with ZERO SIGNS of being I’ll. whatsoever.

      Me…nothing.

      Get vaxxed…? my (_I_)

  4. Well, Thug Fraud is the reason I’ve given my last cent, vote and support to the Ontario Progressive “Conservative” Party while he’s the leader (or any of the current cabinet, or caucus for that matter).

And, yes, I know that Del Cacca and Hysterical Howarth will be as bad, but no way in hell am I rewarding Premier Flounder.

      1. Why? Canadians are their own worst enemies. Your thought pattern is why we are where we are.

        1. VOWG, I read & find myself agreeing with most of what you post on a daily basis. On this, however, you are dead wrong.

DR’s thought pattern, and mine, and many other Western Canadians, comes from decades of being “represented” by Central Canadians and getting it in the ass.

Are you familiar with a political cartoon called, “The Milch Cow”? It was published by the Grain Growers in December of 1915. If you haven’t seen it find it online & tell me, in over a century of being ruled by Central Canadians, what’s changed? Western Canadians saw the problem 10 years after this province joined confederation. We have the exact same problem today. It won’t go away with yet one more Central Canadian politician. Why? What happens when he loses an election? Westerners are back to square one. I noted here yesterday, Max’s problem isn’t his ideology. It’s his geography.

No. Never again. Voting for Max is not the solution to our problem. Separating from this shithole of a country and leaving the Laurentian Elite behind is.

          1. Nope. To dismiss what is in front of you hoping for that which is not is…… foolish.

      2. yes danny reamed, find a $20 bill and complain it ain’t a $50 bill, dumb fucks who do that should not be able to vote

        1. Danny Reams sound like he/she/it’s on the same side of the political spectrum as you. People who vote for the Baked Potato & Jagmeat are dumb fucks. Why trash an ally? Why not present your case & discuss it like allies?

  5. John “the taxman” Tory has also confirmed that once again they will be able to hold the tax increases to the rate of inflation for this year, as he has done in every past year….
