    1. This is so blatant, Canadian media have lost all credibility. Thry are manipulative and dishonest. Anyone working for the CBC and other fascist news agencies should hang their head in shame.

      1. Canadians rejected the Canadian Media into bankruptcy en masse .

Now they are owned lock, stock and barrel by the Liberal Party.

In actual fact, they are both owned by the Laurention fascists, the Liberals just finance the Media because they can.

  1. I refuse to patronize any single slime stream media outlet, print or otherwise. I stick to US and Canadian bloggers to keep me informed. I refuse to help the liberal media lobbyist in any way.

    1. Rose

That is my modus operandi as well.

Although I do admit to shaming MSM on FB from time to time…making them understand that their brethern of the 1930’s & 1940’s in NAZI Germany all were stood up in front of a NUREMBERG Judge – found guilty of Crimes against Humanity and HUNG….something they ALL need to think about.

I’m betting though that the algorithims likely block any thing negative from those Assholes.

      1. I, at one time had subscriptions to several newspapers and magazines.

Now, the Hockey News only and I’m getting tired of their DIE crap.(diversity, inclusion, equity)

  2. Well, OJ, I just watched a clip on the CBC site (yeah, I took one for the team), and, surprisingly, they did show coverage of Canadian protests. They even showed Max and Hillier.
So, my respectful question is this: did you miss that, or are you being disingenuous?

    1. And while we’re at it, let’s discuss your disingenuousness by ignoring that CBC characterized the protests as “right wing white power extremists racists homophobes islamophobes anti-science anti-vax conspiracy theorists who probably listen to that anti-trans Nazi Jordan Peterson.”

      1. Doug,
How about your disingenuousness? The clip I watched did not characterize the protests in that way. It was surprisingly neutral and merely said it was people opposed to the lockdowns etc. They even asked a few folks why they were there and they said they wanted their freedom back, etc.
No one used the disparaging terms you cite.
And for the record, I despise the CBC.

        1. It’s good that at least some of us (presumably those of us immune to the propaganda — I took my “truth jab” years ago) tunes in from time to time to check in to see what the enemy is saying/doing.

        2. The CBC presenter opened up the story with the phrase “so called freedom rallys”. Would it be fair for me to describe her as a “so called reporter”? If you consider that a neutral description, I think it is time for you to take (another) red pill.

    2. When I checked early this morning, they didn’t have the Toronto rally on. Just the one in England.

      1. RN hangs head in shame as RN realizes just now that moderator OJ and Ontario John are one and the same.

  3. Are the CBC going to vilify the truckers, like the PM seems to want to do? How is that smart in any way, to call the truckers “terrorists”?

    1. Another outrage. If the truckers were really terrorists, they would know how to take care of the CBC. Really, the CBC reporting is absolutely shameless.

      1. But they’re so well hidden that not a single conservative in the country can find a CBC office to protest their heinous ways.

        More’s the pity.

        1. Downtown Toronto off of Front Street near the Rogers Centre/CN Tower.
Huge building with sign emblazoned out front with CBC logo.
          Look and Ye shall find.

    2. Behind the scenes, the twerp turdope rubs his hands in glee, because he wants to sabotage the supply chain, and although I support the truckers, this activity will exacerbate the shortages.

But that’s what he wants. More chaos. The more governments are “overwhelmed,” (wars, inflation, supply chain issues, not to mention Covid and mandates), the more you’ll hear messaging calling for “the new world order” to come and take over.

Let me be clear so that I’m not misunderstood (there seems to be a lot of that going around). I SUPPORT THE TRUCKERS. We have to stand against tyranny regardless of consequences, even if the action fits right in to the enemy’s agenda.

And the only “terrorists” that I can see is the CBC, and the rest of the bought-and-paid-for media. Haven’t they done enough terrorizing with their fear porn? They are the ones who are truly the enemy of the people.

      1. The real terrorists are the ones voted into power to govern by our consent and the dictate to us how we should be governed. Every single seat in Parliament is occupied by an imposter, a quisling poltroon. The CPC, NDP, Block, and the Greens are sitting in abject silence as the Liberals dictate policy that is detrimental to good governance. Every thinking Canadian knows that this country requires energy to function. Hopefully this trucker’s convoy will be the slap outside the head to the Canadians that think this country can exist without fossil fuels, without long haul trucks and the men and women that pilot them. The CPC and the NDP, supposedly the party of the working class, should if they had any feeling for their constituents, be calling for a vote of no confidence in this rogue government. Trudeau and his party, as a minority government, have no right to dictate policy that is detrimental to the living standards of Canadians and that is what the loyal opposition have allowed them to do.

        1. The truckers could cause real damage to the Liberals by simple refusing to move anything between the U.S. and Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal. Those are the areas that elected that micro mind Trudeau and it is THEY who should feel the sting of the Liberal policies. Not the rest of the country. Hopefully, the truckers consider adopting that strategy because it would end the mandates quickly and make the brain dead wake up to their own stupidity.

      2. I completely understand where you are coming from. Trudeau has probably already turned to the playbook he was given to read the IKEA style instructions about initiating martial law.

The thing with the truckers though, is it could be the best shot at unifying the population. The hard working men and women who transport our electric cars and kale as well as out workman’s boots and table saws.

If he starts to hang truckers out as “terrorists”, he risks overplaying his hand, wiping away his hard work of dividing us all into perceived compliance.

  4. CBC website or broadcast? Why is the world pretending the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom did not just order all mandates; vax (Ex. NHS), passports and masks to cease and desist?

  5. Protest /rallies are feel-good fine but they don’t accomplish anything. Take note that the cities are all elected communist governments. The cesspool will us force when ever they want. Unfortunately force is all they recognize. When dealing with a bully you need a bigger stick.

    1. Working class protests do have a history of making political change. Dock workers, coal miners, Winnipeg Labor strike, the Depression era work camp ride the rails and On-to-Ottawa trekkers. Maybe the federal government can try to stop the truckers in Regina like they did with the rail trekkers in 1935.

As for journalists, well, I guess supporting and defending pharmaceutical company giants, billionaire businessmen and corrupt politicians…..is how modern, sophisticated journalists speak Truth to Power in the 21st century.

      1. If the Feds make their move , it will be at a choke point in northern Ontario on the TransCan.
Probably around Sudbury or just before.
Much more manpower available from the OPP and RCMP available up there out of North Bay and Sudbury.
Plus you have help from NORAD military available in North Bay if needed.

    2. Depends….for example, a trucker protest that stops all deliveries to and from the U.S., Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto would accomplish much because it would hit the Liberal supporters the hardest as the store shelves empty out.

  6. We have a socialized medical system. 95 percent of government workers including health care workers back the Liberals or even more likely, the NDP. They all believe in total government control. They may as well be considered to be the deep state because the MP’s and MLA’s seem to have no control over them.

And the media does what the deep state tells them to do.

  7. There are those here that don’t like Bernier because he speaks french.

Yet he seems to be the only politician out there, so to say, that speaks offence to the ruling class parties.
The guy, as every one, everywhere, from history to today, is far from perfect.
Thought in today’s climate, it would be good to give him support on the record.
If you don’t like something that he has said and done, send him an email and ask what’s the thinking behind it and if he is open to suggestions.
Obviously the one guy can’t, for practical reasons, answer to everyone. Maybe he can, who knows.
It would seem that it is time to give him a chance and in the process criticize things you’re not comfortable with.

In an interview with D. Smith, they were discussing the overwhelming take of Q’bec by so called ‘equalization’. Bernier simply explained that as far as equalization goes, every province gets equal amount per person, because there are more people in Q’bec than in Alberta they, by that count get more money.
Of course the major difference is that Alberta is supplying the money and every other province that claim to be in the toilet wants a chunk of it.
This needs to be completely done away with and allow Alberta to lend money at a competitive rate to other provinces.
Yeah, they won’t like it, it is so much easier to suck up someone’s else money when you can and don’t have to worry about letting the free enterprise do the job.

  8. I was at the overpass rally this morning outside Vancouver(brrrrr) and have noticed more public awareness that previously.
But for it to be effective they need to blockage ANY AND ALL routes in and out of Ottawa UNTIL the mandates are removed. No “lets talk” or “we will look into it” Shut the city down. We only have one shot at this.Ive read estimates of between 50000 and 150000 trucks.10,000 trucks is a lineup 56 miles long. Don’t move them for other traffic or fire engines or ambulances or ANYTHING.Ya, that may be a bit extreme but so is living under a North Korea-like regime. If you are unvaxed you can’t even leave the country. How is that different than Cuba, North Korea and China. Even the Russians can leave Russia.

    1. Agreed, that is what it is going to take.

      Shut her DOWN. FOR DAYS!

What do they have to lose? Taking away their livelihoods, might as well blockade Ottawa, and Cheranna, for that matter. Permanently! Not that Castreau would notice, as he finishes another bong.

  9. The “Media” are the enemy of the people, have been for decades.
People want this government terrorism to end, but the corporate and State media are against the people and continue to terrorize the public with fear porn, de-humanizing and censorship… sounds like NAZI’s.

Terrorism is a a crime, when will the bureaucrats and the politicians be arrested ?

Truckers are doing more to fight government terrorism and globalist tyranny then all political party’s in the country, the cops and the corporate media all together.
Thank you truckers ! Fuk Juthtin Turdhole and his WEF terrorists

    1. Right off the bat, the CBC life-form was dismissive. It says “so-called” freedom rallies. So right away, CBC is putting a negative spin on it suggesting those subjects need to be frowned upon.

Sure, CBC reported it. But in a way that does not represent what is happening.

CBC says “LGBTQ+ celebrates diversity”. I say “sexual deviants rubbing our noses in their depravity”. Same event, two different spins.

  10. Don…
Seems like the communists over at the CBC think the “Freedom Protests” taking place all over the world are actually about, “anti vaxx” and “anti-Lockdowns”… so they reluctantly report on something they’ve never reported on with any accuracy in the past and now they claim that a “freedom rally” is in fact just an “anti-vaxx” and “anti lockdown” protest.

    See the difference ?
“Reporting” a government scripted narrative rather then reporting the facts… LYing about a story is even worse then the usual deliberate omission.
Stop trying to defend the enemy of the people. The Media are scum and the CBC is a LIberal Party propaganda outlet.

  11. Not just in Canada but several countries around the world – France, Belgium, Japan, Brazil, Kuwait, Germany, Austria, Poland, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Taiwan, Portugal …

There were at least a thousand in Stockholm.

    Imagine that.

  12. Absolute mass rejection of The Narrative is the only thing that MIGHT influence the the situation. Some of the people in authority are corrupt, but many at the mid levels are themselves brainwashed and really believe that covid is serious and the vaxxes keep us safe. It is only by “culture jamming” those mid-level “advisors to the upper echelons” that we can stop this. The upper echelons were expecting blowback and are prepared for it, and they will not listen to us directly. But they might listen to their mid-levels advisors if those either (a) report that the blowback is more severe than expected or (b) we convince the mid-levels that they’ve been duped and they come over to our side.
