Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

THAT is hilarious.
I have always preferred motorcycles. Now I know why.
Kate – that was way more comical than I thought it would be, and informative, I think. I had motorcycles as a teen and my girlfriends preferred horses. Maybe gender isn’t a social construct.
Just think of a horse as a thousand pound vibrator and it is easier to understand.
My daughter has been riding for about 20 yrs and has been a barn rat just to be near as many horses as she can. That nearly killed her….lethal funny stuff.
Hey RN, same here! (Although it is more like 13 years in this household). The first “broken” horse in my daughter’s first barn was a heartbreaker for her. Eventually, it became the yearly norm and she got used to this reality. And the reason my daughter leases her horses rather than owning them… Cheers!
You mean there is such a thing as a horse-repossessor? A second career for Dog the Bounty Hunter, perhaps…..
What I can say is that her boyfriend is stuck with a lame dressage horse that’s unfit for competition, and cannot be repossessed!
Edit: and if the horse is lame for dressage, imagine it on a cross country derby!
I’m not a horse person, (father-in-law kept Belgians and I would feed them now and again. One of those docile beasts almost dispatched him to the “choir invisible”, but he still remained committed to them until he sold his farm.
That is a well written capsule of horse health/behaviour information. The writer should think about expanding to other topics…there is so much I don’t know.
So that clears that.
I like horses, from a distance. I used to ride a lot but I had a horse decide a duck was a horse killing monster beast he had to run from and he could only run fast enough if he disposed of me first. I gave them up after that.
To a horse, everything, animate and inanimate, is going to eat it. A rock in the middle of the road, where it wasn’t the day before, is enough to make a horse go berserk. Once you understand that concept it becomes easier to deal with the psychology of the horse.
So that describes our fearless leaders..
Horse’s ” A” to a T.
Their actions with respect to The Dread Covid Common Cold has been very Horsey.
Stampede in terror.
Lash out at anyone who attempts to steady them down.
fall over dead at the least provocation..
Horses are Liberal?
No wonder they need the lash.
(yes sarcasm).
