  1. I am beginning to feel sorry for the Chinese community who are living in not-Chinese nations who are trying to make a better life for themselves by leaving their homeland or are children of those who left generations ago.

The Chicoms are infiltrating the nations like vermin. The leaders of the CCP only want faithful soldiers to follow orders, execute the objectives they have been trained to complete, but could care less if those people make it back to the Motherland alive.

I find it difficult to look at them now without suspicion and caution. They have become the enemy of my country.

Many of those still have family in the motherland that the CCP uses as leverage to force them into espionage against their host countries.

      1. The CCP are one of the biggest crime syndicates in the world. Ruthless and evil. To be in their clutches is to be like dead. Your life is in their noose, and it is a short leash.

    2. I find it difficult to look at them now without suspicion and caution. They have become the enemy of my country.

Yup. It’s worse for people like me when one is surrounded by them.

I estimate that at least a third of the tenants in my apartment complex are Chinese. One reason they choose this place is because it’s a short bus or train ride from the University of Alberta.

They keep to themselves, as is their privilege, but it can lead to a feeling of ill ease as if we are intruders on territory that they claim as their own.

      1. Indeed. When they dominate by shear numbers, which they are expert at, they can make you feel like an outsider or intruder. They are the most compliant with the “fearful mandate edicts”, many wearing masks even by themselves in their vehicles. Free thinkers they are not. Freedom seems to be such a foreign concept that they appear to be afraid of the concept of freedom.

        1. I certainly felt alienated while I was working on my last two degrees. The Chinese grad students were in the minority (about a quarter back then), but they ran the show in my department.

And they didn’t always play by the rules, if you get my meaning.

          1. BA…Your regular repeated complaints are getting tired. Get over the resentment and live your life, which is short, as all of our lives are. Did some Chinese guy get tenure while you got Armpit college? Get over it, already.
As for you, Glacierman, do you really feel sorry for the Chinese community?
I agree that some of them want to escape, but others don’t, and prefer to steal shit, either deliberately, or under duress.
Oh, and BA, if you hate it so much, then why don’t you leave your Edmonton apartment? If it’s that bad, then grow a set and move on. I know you will hate me for saying that, but, at this point, it should be said.

  2. I doubt there’s anything classified going on in Canada that China isn’t fully briefed on, or actively directing themselves. That includes military, industrial, medical, cabinet decisions, any technical research etc.. Multiculturalism is bad enough but diversity mandates will be the ruination of the country.

    1. Almost certainly.

After all, have a look at the similarities between the U.S. space shuttle and the Soviet Buran…

The Chinese probably don’t really need actual spies in our countries when enough of our people willingly and actively assist them anyway. But I guess they like to make absolutely sure, especially when they move from passive to active aggression…

    2. That’s what happens when so many university professors that are hired nowadays come from there.

      1. True… But I sadly have to add, Mr. Rupertslander, that a lot of their most fervent and active supporters aren’t in any way Chinese themselves…

        1. Oh, in the department where I earned my last two degrees, many of the faculty were falling all over each other to get Chinese grad students….. because they were “such good scholars” (as in they would work long hours in the lab for cheap and would do anything to graduate lest they go home and lose face for not finishing their studies).

Uh-huh. Often, there might be one in a certain group who’s outstanding and that person does the work for everyone else, and, yes, I saw that sort of thing happen. I knew better than to say something–racism and all that, you know. One person I saw doing that is now a tenured professor at a certain eastern university.

I could go on but I think you get the picture. By the way, what I described took place more than 20 years ago. I shudder to think what it’s like now.

  3. I know of a Chinese family that planned to go to China around Christmas of 2019 to see the rest of their family. They were talking to them in October, 2019 and at that time they were told “don’t come to China….there is some kind of illness going around”. Meanwhile, Trudeau and Tam were covering up for China and the W.H.O. knowing full well what was going on in China and worse yet, they deliberately shut down the warnings that were coming out of Taiwan in late December 2019.

  4. The CBC makes it sound like the RCMP are persecuting him for lying on his resume.

If there’s a trial then little potato’s government will impose a publication ban for national security reasons and we will never know how bad things are. All these Canadians and their crap institutions are disgusting people.

  5. Will this arrest make life “interesting” for the Canadians who travel to China for the upcoming Olympics?

(I have no idea how many Chinese nationals are currently under arrest in Canada..)

  6. Don’t let Trudeau find out or this guy may get millions!

More or less than a convicted terrorist……….is anyone’s guess.

  7. Only in Canada, you say?
What are you some kind of racist, chauvinist, anti this and anti that and for this and for that?
What kind of confused country is this, or what kind of idiots do the people of this country vote for.
    Just asking.
    Can’t figure it out.

  8. Crap headline.
They don’t even know his job title.
    He goes by James
    100% Chi-Com
    Publishes on pollution analysis
Seems he’s been in Canada for less than 6 yrs?
CSA hired a known foreign agent.

  9. In 2013, Trudeau declared his undying love for China.

Why are we surprised now that we know full-well how deep Justin is in China’s pocket?

I am only surprised that any of this is hidden anymore.
