2. I recall the name but I really have no recollection of the man or his politics. It’s before I started paying attention to that sort of thing, especially stateside.

6. Norm Macdonald impersonated Dole to a tee back in his SNL days but it was never in a mean or malicious way like what we see from the likes of Baldwin and others impersonating Trump.
   Dole took a lot of ribbing for his Viagra commercials after he retired but I’ll bet he was laughing all the way to the bank.

   the thing l *always* remember about Dole, came out when he took a run at repub candidacy, end of the war, he’s seriously wounded coming home on the train, wondering what the future holds.
