  1. When you behave like a buffoon on the world stage, when you say that budgets will balance themselves and that you don’t understand nor care about monetary policy, why would any other world leader give you the time of day, except to pat you on your head and tell you to move along? And people vote for Justine why? And it is a fool’s game to believe that the US which is 10 times our size will care what we want. You need a big lever and we just don’t have one, but China does.

    1. We have no leverage with the Yanks because we elect governments at war with our economy, namely the energy sector where we should be a naturally competitive powerhouse. In a few years under this US administration, they will be going back to coal or groveling for more imported oil. Ironically this issue was about Canada failing to get US taxpayers to subsidize Canadian jobs in “green” E-vehicle manufacturing to be charged by a US grid still dependent on Coal that they will fail at replacing with wind and solar. Insanity knows no bounds.

  2. The money sentence…

“The Trudeau government, which faced former president Donald Trump’s repeated threats to tear up continental free trade, was caught off guard when the friendlier Mr. Biden also proved to have a strong protectionist streak.”

    1. A second thought:

If he’d have dressed like a little girl, Brandon would have paid more attention to him. Maybe a grope & perhaps even sniffed his nice hair…

        1. “Damn you! Coffee thru the nose isn’t pleasant!”

I was lucky…he caught me in between sips…:)

  3. The attitude from team sock monkey seems to be that they want to retain the facade that Trump was bad for Canada and basically everything else.
They are left with one option now and that’s to make a complaint against the “now warm relationship as opposed to the last confrontational Trump administration”.
It’s not about a trade dispute, because the sock monkey doesn’t care about jobs or those that need them, he cares about appearances and the appearance that is in danger of deconstruction is the one liberals hold about Trump.
It was supposed to go back to how it was under Obama.

  4. The Canadian peso will ensure that the little people have jobs, Justin knows he can subsidize big business with Canadian labour in the future once he destroys our dollar with debt.

The clown prince is not too worried, everyone loved our 60 cent dollar under Chrétien, fifty or forty cents will be even better than that.

    1. 50 or 40 cents, pfttt.
      We be heading beyond Venezuela.
Got Fido or Fluffy then warm up the grill.

  5. Concessions? Both double vaxxed, I assume (although I suspect that they may have both gotten the saline solution) and still both wearing masks and social distancing. Sheesh.

  6. My prediction of Byedin-Heiress tearing up Trump’s USMCA were premature. It seems Joe’s Handlers understand that he’s gonna have to KEEP America First policies to pay for the INSANE $6T in spending …

Sorry sonny. Good luck with your energy-starved eco-wonderland.

  7. so Trudeau went to Biden, and said “Hey Brandon, can you subsidize our electric cars too?”

there are currently no votes to be gained from appeasing Canada

  8. What an incompetents sock puppet all the while dealing with a dementia patient.
    Total incompetence.
It would never occur to bong boy to actually do something productive for the people of Canada.

    1. A fruit talking to a vegetable, what happened to this supposed USMCA deal that Freeland AKA Tinkerbell negotiated on our behalf last year. She came back bumping elbows with the Prime Moron pretending to have snookered Trump into iron clad guarantees and claiming she had negotiated all kinds of concessions, yeah right!

  9. Considering what Canada has done to lumber, pulp/paper, oil/gas, mining, fishing, manufacturing (nonauto), etc., I no longer care what happens to any business/jobs in Quebec, southern Ontario, or the communist enclave cities of the west.
