Maybe men have decided that there is more to life than working like slaves in the service of ungrateful women? The author is lamenting that men have lost their masculine virtues and this is bad for women. If women are suffering as a result, they should do something about it. The men are perfectly content to go their own way and enjoy their lives, rather than existing solely for the benefit of women.
Letting women vote was a big mistake, fatal even.
In the original Greek democracies only landowners had a vote. Departing from that principal was a far greater error than emancipation. Any woman smart enough to hold land is welcome to vote in my republic. Any man who can’t, is not.
Since we don’t live in an agrarian economy owning land is a meaningless metric. What if I own a multi million dollar company that runs out of rented premises? I think a better model is “no representation without taxation”. Unless you’re a net contributor to society you don’t get a vote, and owning land hasn’t been a marker of net contribution since before the industrial revolution.

There is a war on white male and the population of anti white male is growing so fats it is dyzzying.
But Western Civilization was built by and was maintained by white males…getting rid of white males ( or making them wimps or uneuchs) is slowly but surely destroying Western Civilization
Also the demographics are changing in great part because all those anti white males vote for candidates that prefer immigrants or illegals ( or prefer women or LGTBQs ) to white males thus are replacing them by the millions

I am a non-feminist woman, through all the so-called “waves” from Betty Freidan to the present. I never saw a need for feminism, as women such as myself and friends who had access to good education, and good role models (a working, independent mom in the early 1930s), never saw many barriers to success competing with men in Canada. Sure, we had unwelcome remarks or overt stuff that would land a man in court today, but we shrugged it off with some street-wise skills and got on with work or play. That said, there are more creeps around today who were not taught any manners, with so many absent fathers.
I actually love most men and prefer their company in life and work teams. I love their physical strength and their ability to be a bit more focused and singled-minded, being a bit more verbally direct etc. in work relationships and personal ones. This compliments my traits to consider too many complex factors and multi-task, which one pretty much has to do as a mother. Then add mom plus work and husband. Often, the men in my life cut through all of that complexity to get to a solution, and I did that too when they lost their way and never thought about stopping and asking for directions, for example.
I am not very happy with the younger women today.
Too much over-coddling and fake confidence and mushy feelings.
A saying of old was that Australia’s Northern Territory was “The home of wanted men and unwanted women”.
Is the modern equivalent “Delicate men and indelicate women”?
