This actually goes way beyond Covid. There are a whole bunch of reasons why you should probably be taking vitamin D.
Article cited in the video here. For those who don’t have a lot of time give it a quick look.
A couple of things that stand out for me. First is finding out that the relationship between sun exposure and melanoma seems to be the opposite of what we’ve been told. Second is how much vitamin D you’d actually have to take before overdosing on it. Basically an insane amount that normal people are highly unlikely to get to. Anyone who says this stuff is dangerous is lying.
The fact that public health officials either ignore, or poo poo vitamin D supplementation at this point pretty much proves that they’re more like Jill Biden doctors than real ones.

My wife’s last Dr visit had him asking her to update what she is taking daily
“Three Vit Ds, 1,000IU each”
“Why are you taking SO much?”……..idiot. He also asked if she’s gotten the jab too…….IDIOT.
Make sure that you supplement the D with K2, excellent for your circulatory system. Magnesium is also recommended as a supplement. Our need for calcium has been overstated for decades, we get plenty from a meat and dairy based diet
Oh, and remember that you have a miraculous natural immune system, thanks to all that dirt you ate as a kid, and the creek water you drank, and other rotting things in the bush that you touched in curiosity.
Well, me anyway, in the Bush up north.
And, hell, I went on to become a productive member of society.
My wife may exaggerate my lapses, though.
In WW2 it was said Vitamin A was how the British fighters were how they spotted the Jerries. (It was radar)
Later, in the 1960s, vitamin B became popular for the hippies to clean out their polluted systems.
Then, in the 1990s, vitamin C was touted in huge doses.
Now its vitamin D.
How about you just eat right? and if you’re not willing to do that, then get ahead of the curve and start doing lots of vitamin E and K.
“Eating right” won’t rectify Vit D. deficiency.

People in Northern latitudes are more prone to Vit. D deficiency
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/18767337/
Pretty clear you don’t know what you are talking about.
“Eating right” won’t work???
What a bunch of pill-popping propagandized freaks.
No wonder so many people wanna get jabbed, they’re too stupid to eat right, and aspire to be pill-poppers, but are scared of Canola oil margarine that’s pumped full of vitamin D (and A).
People are Stupid, and it seems the more accurate the info they have access to, the stupider they get, because they think life’s a KENO game, and they have the system.
Enjoy your BPA-free lives.
Take a fucking pill, get off your high horse.
“start doing lots of vitamin E and K”
Oh, I get it. It’s all about E and K.
There are no miracle substances, eating right is good, but some things will work well with some people. Almost all Canadians have a D deficiency, working on mine helped my lifting, running and cycling. I don’t need health advice from some couch potato.
Excessive capitalization just make you sound Silly.
Spitfires and Hurricanes were not fitted with radar.
(Technically neither was Britain – Chain Home was RDF… nit pick)
The RDF system pointed out from the coast. It could for the most part detect incoming German and Italian raid (yes, Italy was involved in the Battle of Britain… They didn’t amount to much) but once they were over the coast tracking was done by ground based observers. Due to the errors in reporting and the lag the actual interceptions were still dependent on the pilots actually being able to spot the opposing aircraft.
How much Vit A affected this I have no idea.
Cos you don’t get much VitD from food.
My daughter is having anxiety issues. Guess which vitamin deficiency exacerbates anxiety issues? She now take 1000 iu of vitamin D every day.
B complex works for anxiety.
So does fluoxetine 🙂
So does a stiff whiskey and perspective.
No need to choose. I believe in exercise, perspective and bourbon.
“B complex works for anxiety.”
So does a kick in the ass.
Vit. D creates calcium. Taking Vit. K2 with it ensures the calcium goes to your bones and doesn’t stay in your bloodstream. Magnesium completes the trio. They work together.
4,000 IUs mentioned in the article is still a low dose. If you’re truly deficient it will take a long time to correct on that dose.
Most doctors are absolutely ignorant when it comes to Vit. D. But read “The Optimal Dose” and “The Miraculous Results of Extremely High Doses of Vitamin D” (both books available on amazon).
Take Vitamin D. Get your Vitamin D level checked at tyour next doctor appointment.
The test will likely show you are Vitamin D deficient.
Or just start taking Vit. D. and not worry about it.
Been taking 1,000 IU/day for many years, but after the start of the panicdemic, I upped the dose to 3,000 IU/day.
Stuff’s dirt cheap, and a buddy of mine who’s got MS has a specialist recommendation to take 4,000 IU/day as part of his treatment regimen.
You got to pump those numbers up. Those are rookie numbers in this racket.
Based on old SDA commenter Loki’s advice I started megadosing (10,000IU daily) on vitamin D in the winter for joint stiffness. Works a treat and I also haven’t caught a cold since I started.
If you’re having issues with joint stiffness or (like me) arthritis, try a boron supplement — 3mg/day. Boron’s an essential mineral and works synergistically with VitD, calcium, potassium and magnesium, and it’s very difficult to get 3mg/day from a typical diet (comes primarily from veggies, but if they’re grown in boron-deficient soil, they’re no help).
An aggravating pain I’ve had in my left thumb for several years (arthritis onset) faded within three weeks of starting boron. It’s not VitD cheap, but it’s still pretty reasonable.
Here’s an article from the U.S. National Institutes of Health re: boron — Nothing Boring About Boron
go outside, when you can. No sunscreen, short sleeves. In 20 min your body will make a ton of Vit D. Doesn’t work every day, but if you put your mind to it, you can harvest a lot of free Vit D.
H
Nothing against this recommendation, but for most of us in Canada, going outside prior to next April or thereabouts won’t do diddly for Vitamin D acquisition (nothing wrong with doing it for other reasons, of course). In the meantime, go to your local Costco and buy their two-pack of VitD; works out to around 3.6¢/3,000 IU (three tablets). Price from your local Shoppers, London Drugs or family-owned drugstore won’t be much higher. Possibly the cheapest vitamin available today.
Exactly.
The 7 day forecast here is rain. Period. 🙁
Indeed, we got 3 dual packs last week, at $3 off. $5 for 720 VitD 1000 IU tabs. Ridiculously cheap, easy supplement insurance.
We each take 5 a day, so we go thru it pretty good, and double it in the times we’ve had Covid exposures/risks.
So far, so good!
Oh but we’re scared of both sweating and getting a chill!
Climate crisis = climate control. The softer we get, the easier it is to push as around.
“Every day, I’m in here getting weaker, while Charlie is out there getting stronger”
Looks like you’re off your pills as well, sunshine, but vitamins ain’t going to set that schizoid brain of yours right.
I don’t take pills, but I figure you do. Tell us all about how to be a pill-poppin normie why dontcha?
Oh, shut up.
Ordinarily I wouldn’t care, but if you’re going to quote Apocalypse, try to do it correctly.
I don’t know if they have annual awards for Best Twitter Troll, but I would nominate Tim Pool in a heartbeat, if they did…

“When my doctor prescribed Ivermectin I was shocked.
I laughed and refused saying that Don Lemon says he knows better than you and that this is just horse dewormer.
My Doctor insisted that this was human dose Ivermectin and they wanted me to take it but I know better thanks to Don. ”
At least this explains where his podcasts have gone this past week. I wish him a quick recovery.
When Bill Gates owns a chain of vitamin stores then we’ll be told by government to take vitamins. And we will pay three times what we pay today, and get half as much.
If gates owns them, peel up the info label to find the Blue Label of Death below it.
