Calgary’s “New” Mayor

Why are there still oil companies in Calgary?

Newly elected mayor of Calgary, Jyoti Gondek, announced this morning in her first interview as mayor, that her top priority is to declare a ‘climate emergency’ in the city of Calgary.

Gondek said that Calgary has had ‘years’ to declare a climate emergency, and now is the time ‘to get serious and declare [a climate emergency]’.

  1. As a contrarian,I consider this /these election victories to be a boon to Western Separation.
As most of our career parasites are concentrated in the cities.
So as these cities collapse their own economies, the hatred grows.
And I mean hatred, for it will be the betrayed who push Western Independence over the top.
Those who go along to get along, figuring they too will profit at their fellow citizens expense..
Except the kleptocracy has killed too much productive business and is now entering endgame, where the parasites fight ever more savagely and desperately for ever diminishing rewards.

All that keeps our cities from collapse is the graft of federal and provincial handouts.
For not one could operate as they do,on ratepayer taxes alone.
    Leave if you can.

  2. As much as I don’t want to live here I am running out of places I want to live. Left wing goofiness everywhere I look. At least here we are a bit of an island of Christian conservatism.
    For now.
Maybe I can buy a bit of land and build a huge bunker underground for when TSHTFan.
