    Government’s dishonesty too in the hospital staff burned out by this long Pandemic is also an issue when the hospitals were packed past full before the Pandemic arrived.
    Instead they’re blaming the unvaccinated for hospitals closing and not being heavily handed by the government forcing everyone to take the jab or lose their jobs.

  6. Thanks for posting this Kate. Really sums up our feeling towards the whole situation. I have 2, under 30 kids who are healthy and facing a shot mandate at their work. This is coercion. Why does the government keep saying its a choice when obviously it isn’t?

        In this same time period death from cancer, MVA and suicide remain high.

The federal and provincial governments have complete control over all the variables — bed numbers, staffing levels, training, policies — everything except for the behaviour of citizens, which they are trying hard to gain. Governments have been “pandemic planning” for well over a decade. If the healthcare system is strained, it is either because governments failed to plan properly, or the strain is part of the plan. Either way, it is incorrect, unfair, and unproductive to blame any particular group of citizens. The blame lies squarely with politicians and the bureaucrats that advise them.

The only way to end vaccine hesitancy for rational people is time and good data, and as time goes by and the data keeps coming in, it’s not looking good for the vaccines. These vaccines (m-RNA and viral vector DNA) are fundamentally flawed from an efficacy, durability and safety standpoint and the hesitancy will not end in the foreseeable future.

  16. I traveled to the United States using the essential services provisions in order to get the J&J vaccine. I went to all this trouble to get that particular vaccine ONLY because I have travel vouchers that need to be used and if I am going to be coerced into getting an untested and unreliable shot, I’m only doing it once.

A class action suit launched against every medical body that prohibited the use of drugs that have been on the market for twenty-five years with less adverse reactions than what the injections have produced. A class action suit against every politician that endorsed the emergency use of an unproven therapy. A class action suit against every company that lobbied said politicians to allow unproved treatment to be given emergency approval. A class action suit against every social media company that restricted information about alternative treatment since they were in collusion with both government and the drug companies.

    I’m sure that there are enough people impacted by this situation, doctors, nurses, health care workers, first responders, and relatives of those who died because of a program to escalate the situation in order to take absolute control of Western society.

    As the husband of a stage 4 lung cancer patient who has been in treatment for three years, I can tell you that you’re completely wrong. Prior to Covid, my wife was able to see her oncologist, radiologist or GP as circumstance dictated. Since the panic began she has been placed with a new ocologist who in 18 months, has literally, never seen her or examined her. Not even a teleconference, but the occasional phone call during which she is told that her “symptoms are the best indication of what is going on”. I haven’t seen my own physician in 18 months either. Sure, he’ll phone if I make an appointment and maybe renew a prescription, but I suspect Covid has been a gold mine for health care providers. You can make a lot of 5 minute phone calls during a day, while billing health services for a ‘patient interaction’.

    Based on what we have experienced, the whole health care system is taking advantage of opportunity. Everyone is discouraged from using the system and the number of people with undiagnosed, let alone treated, major illnesses is going to impact an already overwhelmed health care system.

    Remember all the high-cost ventilators that were rushed to production? Remember the expensive emergency medical facilities that were ordered but never used? To suggest the medical system has been ‘overwhelmed’ due to Covid is nonsense. The ‘system’ is antiquated, inefficient and top heavy with administration – there is simply no incentivizing prompt, efficient and cost effective service to the public.

    The Canadian health care system has morphed into the ‘little house of horrors’ in respect to what we can expect in the next decade.
