2022 Manitoba Games cancelled

The announcement was made by Sport Manitoba and the Niverville Host Society Friday afternoon. The games were scheduled to run from February 27th to March 5th and would have had upwards of 1,500 participants and required over 1,000 local volunteers.

Along with continued uncertainty about the pandemic, and public health restrictions, it became clear it would not be possible to host an event of this magnitude and execute a safe and successful multi-sport Games experience.

Everyone feels much safer already.

Can we agree that mass games are best left to the north Koreans?

Manitoba needs many things. A knock-off of the Olympics can’t have been high on the list.

I thought the official Manitoba Games kick off event was tasering lockdown protestors and arresting Maxime Bernier?

In October we are getting a Lying Brian PallHitler replacement. The Premier wil either be ex-cop Shelly Glover or Pallister/Roussin Stooge and NWO Globalist Heather Stephanson. Time for Manitobans to pony up, buy a $20.00 PC membership and vote for Shelly Glover. Heather Stephanson is NOT an option, unless you want more lockdowns, more masking, more vaxx passports and more medical tyranny.

I have already received my polling for who I am supporting. “Click”. Ron Schuler was at my son’s church. He said Ken Lee was crazy and was going to give everything to the NDP. He said Heather was a Christian therefore vote for her. Glover isn’t and even the police don’t like her. Then he said many Christians equate not getting vaxxed to abortion. The fear mongering and pandering was smeared on thick. I had already switched from Lee to Glover but this sealed the deal. What a hack. Him and Heather are life time politicians. Glover may not be perfect but at least she has had a real job. They must be scared if they are invading churches and poisoning the Glover well. If I had been there I would have asked why didn’t Heather – as deputy Premier- not stand up for the churches since she’s such a good Christian? Also he needed to remind us Heather is pro-life. It’s insulting when he assumes we are all one issue voters. Heather will be Pallister Ver.2. No Thanks.

No way. Glover started out saying she was against the passports but as soon as she got some flack she did a full 180 degree turn. I’d prefer an obvious Queen Karen over a weakling flip flopper any day. The devil you know. And I’ve got a lot better things to do that spend $20 on than choosing between a Queen Karen and a weakling flip flopper.

L – The young athletes are among the most healthy, most likely to have asymptomatic or a very mild go with Covid-19. Very likely to have already had contact and may already be immune. That can be tested. Likewise hire the 1,000 from a similar demographic and health profile. Advisors and coaches can respond to questions via cell phones. If those with co-morbidities are screened out. There is no justification to cancel the annual winter games.

Let the youth learn to handles responsibility on their own. No one else in charge is capable.

If Canadians don’t relearn how to do risk assessment/risk management soon. Large areas of the country will be declared psychiatric asylums, with the inmates running the place.

I’d recommend Vancouver, Montreal, the GTA and Ottawa be so designated. The the rest of the country can go back to normal.

What they are not saying is Niverville is a hotbed of unvaxxed types. The government here has thus turned at least half their usual crew of community members happy to volunteer into filthy, socially irresponsible, scum bag, selfish, disease spreading lepers. No one can attend any community centre or sports event, even outdoors, without the vax pass. They can’t run the event without those filthy, socially irresponsible, scum bag, selfish, disease spreading lepers so they had to cancel.
