I am willing to allow for the possibility that Maryam’s calling the Taliban “my brothers” was a formulaic appeal to their common humanity and Afghan and Muslim background as part of a call for them to do the decent thing—even though Maryam knows, or should know, that she might as well have said it in Hebrew.

    You can bet your last dime on this though:

    If she had wanted to tell Israel what to do with its Arabs, Maryam would never have called the Israelis “my brothers the Zionists.”

    I can see a backlash against Dean Del Mastro, but this is beyond the pale. I considered that Trent Uni would put them in, but the rural area outnumber the urban quite significantly.

      Cynical me would suggest they have been vacant for years and this Covid hysteria simply made the situation clear.
      For we have no statesmen nor leaders,who know they must balance societies needs in an emergency,that this is the responsibility of the job..Instead they all hid behind the bureaus,who have zero comprehension of any needs beyond their own.
      Thus we have “Saved the Healthcare System” at horrendous cost to the taxpayers.
      Dread Covid Theatre has been most revealing,so many social myths have been exposed as absolutely not so.
      The plague that kills us,is not some “novel corona virus from Wuhan” it is the parasitic overload.
