    1. They knew what to do with Ceausescu. Anyone falling back into that behavior will be cured of that problem by societal memory. Learning the lessons of history has value, and they don’t really teach history as a compulsory subject in high school anymore – too much social justice. For example, during the first bout of the Black Plague in London, England, the king and his minions announced the idea of a lockdown to prevent the spread of a truly deadly illness, and caved when the citizenry rioted in the streets. Canada has not suffered tyranny in its history, but has been heading in that direction like a frog in a pot of warming water since L. B. Pearson, so we cannot get ignorant people to understand the endgame and how difficult it is to get back if you succumb.

All one needs to know about TorStar is that it was valued at almost $2 billion in 2004 and was sold for $52 million in 2020 and now its new owners plan to transform the company into an online casino. Really.

    1. Next step will be legalization of hallucinogens, mark my words. You can already buy all kinds of products online and I expect in the stores by now. People are playing fast and loose with their neurochemistry and being encouraged to do so by profiteering bloodsuckers for the sake of their “mental health.“ That’s stupid and is no different from abusing shit bought from a dealer except it’s in nicer packaging, and I think it’s telling that governments are doing nothing about it.

  13. I’d like to know if the Heritage Minister has simply had an adjustment in his past taxes due, due to an income adjustment… or if there is a penalty involved here. He does owe more than $10k and earns quite a bit more than the average Canadian income.
