We used to call Obama “Urkel,” for the nerdy character on the TV show “Family Matters.”
There was another character on the same show, Judy Winslow, who was the youngest daughter. At the end of one season, she went to her bedroom and was never seen on the show again.
As it has appeared here and elsewhere, Lara Logan has summarized it very well: “ whoever is ‘pulling the strings’ in government intends for crises like the one in Afghanistan and along the U.S.-Mexico border to intensify even though officials claim there isn’t anything they can do. (…) Whoever is in power right now, whoever is really pulling the strings – and I don’t know that – they could do anything they want to change this. And they’re not.”
From this statement, many roads fork out, but two obvious objectives were met: (1) there is a clear path for getting rid of Uncle Joe (the old fool has outlived his usefulness) and (2) the demoralization of the USA on the international level is pretty much fait accompli. Other paths can easily be seen, and our imagination – backed by sound geopolitical knowledge, of course – is the limit.
Time to rename these “Children of a common mother”: “The Emasculated States of America” and “Emasculada”.
I am not so sure they want to get rid of sleepy Joe. If Kamala becomes president the democrats lose their lock on the Senate. She can no longer be the tie breaking vote in the Senate if she is President. On the other hand maybe they have not realised that yet and what we are witnessing is sheer incompetence buttressed by arrogance. Unlike Canada though, at least half the population of the US does not like what is going on and may be inclined to do something about it. Here we will probably re elect the lead singer of the Monkees- again. Sigh. (Actually sorry Davey mate, you had better hair)

At “American Thinker”, there’s in an essay defending the thesis that it’s not to the Democrat party best interest to dump Uncle Joe with a 50:50 senate, because Harris is the tie-breaker vote. That the media is declaring this a debacle, one must believe that even they want Biden gone. I think that there is something very damaging and embarrassing – for a lot of people – in the wings, perhaps direct evidence that Joe is being blackmailed. Or perhaps just crazy dementia fueled behaviour behind closed doors that has yet to come to light. Even Harris is nowhere to be found, appearing neutral while her boss is being thrown under the bus.

3) Uncle Joe achieves an unparalleled political victory: elected POTUS with more popular votes than the beloved BO, and a multi state, late night, Hail Mary electoral pass that gave him an impressive fraction of a percent advantage over orange man bad in key swing states.
4) once Uncle Joe is nicely tucked in the office, PMas are hard at work producing EOs that are signed with pomp, undoing everything the previous administration had achieved.
5) the Wuhan Flu crisis is too important to mess up: billions of dollars are being made with the vaccine-Harris-would-not-take. Fauci is in charge, and even his farts are sacred. Move along.
6) the border crisis is double edged: it does make Uncle Joe look a bit off his game (he tried to get the girl who’s second in command sucked into it, but PMas know better), but it is advantageous for PMas to bring in all these fake voters; consequently, let the border hemorrhage.
7) A master PMas stroke: cancel the energy independence achieved during orange man bad rule.
8) while there are myriad of little brush strokes here and there, the Afghanistan debacle is like a Mona Lisa in this large canvas: the smile is enigmatic; the freaking eyes follow you; there are some hidden patterns! In the debacle’s case, the logic of the whole withdrawal project is impenetrable; it doesn’t matter the angle, the damn thing looks right back at you; and the actions that led to failures in past diplomatic crisis are just being repeated, as if there were no lessons to be learned from previous failures.
