  1. Why don’t we really go woke and have Romeo and Juliette gay guys?
Spoiler alert, they are peoplekind to match our fag of a Prime Minister.
    Gay Cabararro with a twist…

  2. I recall hearing of attempts to bowdlerize the Bard, particularly The Merchant of Venice, because of Shylock.

  3. Don’t blame ol’ Bill for this. It’s a fad, and Shakespeare will outlast it.

  4. It is our fault for allowing education to be overrun by the destructive.
Reminds me of years ago when my wife was involved in a production of Hamlet. They got a call from a Junior High teacher inquiring about matinee tickets for a field trip for her class. The inquiry ended with her asking “What’s it about?” and her being told “3 hours.”

  5. Well … I’m “triggered” by this passage …

    Come, you spirits
That tend on mortal thoughts, unsex me here,
And fill me from the crown to the toe top-full
    Of direst cruelty! make thick my blood;
Stop up the access and passage to remorse,
That no compunctious visitings of nature
Shake my fell purpose, nor keep peace between
The effect and it! Come to my woman’s breasts,
And take my milk for gall
    , you murdering ministers,
    Wherever in your sightless substances
    You wait on nature’s mischief!

Transgender Shakespeare … offends … me.
