Today Rex explains how the election is going for Dear Leader. Rex isn’t impressed.

I think I’m changing my thoughts on voting this election. I was either staying home or voting for a real Conservative party but Trudeau has become completely unhinged and there’s no way people will survive 4 more years let alone Canada. O’Toole really is the only option at this point.
Oh tool, “bad, but better than Trudeau” might actually work as an election slogan
No, he isn’t.
He is simply another Trudeau.
Canadians always do this. They will vote for the alleged “fiscal conservative” and not get it. No more compromises.

We tried that in Alberta. We got four horrible years of Rachel Notley’s NDP. Be careful.
That’s the problem, Chris.
We get anything but what we asked for.
Trudeau can be as unhinged as he wants to be. He’s got the mail in ballots in the bag.
O’Toole is a patsy who won’t see it coming.
Well at least when I’m sitting in my covid interment camp this winter I’ll know I did what I could.
Mail-in ballots…… entrusting them to Canada Post…… hahahahahahahahahaha!
Let me scratch my head …. oh yes mail-in ballots and US post perhaps 2020. What can go wrong with that?

Well, considering how CP often takes its sweet time in delivering mail, we could wait for several months, maybe even years, for all the ballots to arrive. Yeah, it’s best that the government print up some “reserves” to help move things along, just in case.
Of course, the postal workers would never go on strike during an election, would they?
I live 40 miles from my bank. On many occasions, I’ve mailed a cheque only to have it linger on for 7-10 days before it gets there. That’s one cheque. Now imagine a few million ballots……………………..Ooops!! They still have to be counted!!
Maybe Canada can emulate the US and find more votes than voters.

Give generously to the Bloc.
Oh, that’s SO mischievous. Love it!
// Maxime Bernier rejects climate science and vaccinations. Will he get to do it at the leaders’ debates?
OTTAWA—Early on in election campaigns, federal political parties tend to brush off poll results, pointing to the old maxim that the only poll that matters is the one on election day.
Except, for Maxime Bernier, the early polls do matter: for him to participate in the official leaders’ debates during this campaign, his People’s Party of Canada needed to be registering four per cent support in national polls as of Aug. 20. //

So, if he impresses enough to get anti-vax & climate skeptic votes, who will lose support?
It would be richly ironic if the PPC assists the Liberals.
Real men hate the fucker like grim death.
I expect only awfulness from O’Toole, but seeing Justin get the bum’s rush would be worth it.
