While the CBC’s Rosemary Barton stared dreamy eyed, Big Chief Gay Eagle tried to explain why we need the election. When questioned by his loyal reporters, it was the same scripted answer. Canadians deserve to have their say, or some drivel like that. Surely Gerald Butts can do better than that. Meanwhile he doesn’t seem concerned about what is happening in Afghanistan. Apparently he left stranded 100 Gurkha contractors there. Great, another country he has ticked off. Explain it to us again Justin.

Embassy closed down and staff given the civil service run around. This includes the requirement that they have to make finger print appointments before they are allowed to apply for flights out.
