Renegade Regulator

Kangaroo Ruling:

Christine Pallotta will soon be famous. She was the Judge in our infamous criminal contempt trial in March. Remember; “The glaring -people! The glaring!”

Well, Justice Pallotta has now delivered her verdict. Are we guilty or innocent?

Guilty, she wrote, on all charges.

Given her conduct during the trial, the verdict shouldn’t be a shocker. After all, she was judging between us and her Civil Service friends and colleagues.

  1. Why Bother with the courts at all..??

100% rigged in perfect LIBERAL emulation of those run by the Geheime Staatspolizei or the NKVD.

Kangaroo court indeed. Run by a psychotic dementia patient

    1. The Liberals recently declared they would no longer use their donation list to vet their judicial appointments.

I bet the Liberals regret using white instead of yellow on the flag.

Methinks the Liberal Long March is in the very late innings.

  2. We are now without rule of law.
    Interesting times.
That little detail of “Consent of the governed” and their expectation that the institutions will serve all citizens..
    Har Har.
Well when you cut off free speech, criminalize dissent and corrupt the means of justice, things start to happen.
Now the weak point has always been this, odd fact.
The serial abusers, the worst thieves and parasites, all cling to these institutions.
As if they believe the institution will protect them, even as they use the bureaucracy of these organizations to abuse actual producers.
The parallels between 2020s can Ahh Duh and 1770s France are quite startling.
An out of touch, extremely stupid parasitic overload, lording it up over those who feed them.

The most interesting aspect of PS Knights long fight with the Kleptocracy, has been the exposure of all our “elected representatives” as members of the Lawfare Club.
    Uni-party to the core.
The so called Conservatives held majority power when this festering sore of bureaucratic extortion was fully exposed..
    Results?
    They covered for the bandits..
    Lovely.

A tax strike is fully in order.
For if we fail to work, the thieves get less.
If we go full Greek, they starve.

However after these 16 months of Dread Covid Theatre, death is too good for such help.
Some kind of painful slavery, will be a fitting retribution for decades of theft, destruction and arrogance.
You know, that seems to be what they are all wishing and imposing on us..Hmmm.
Payback is a bitch, but we are living the results of giving fools and bandits the benefit of that doubt, they just keep on stealing, destroying and corrupting..
    Oh yeah,did I mention,our help wants/demands a pension with that.

Now for the reading impaired, what part of “death is too good for them” do you want to read as hate speech?
Would wishing someone a long and most miserable life be considered such?
In a country where mercy killing is now a State function?

    1. Let’s see now:

      -The Government has been exposed
      -The Bureaucracy has been exposed
      -Big Business has been exposed
      -Big Institutions have been exposed
      – The Media has been exposed

      And and and……….. WHAT?
Is there anyone but peons left?
Docile and defeated peons at that.
      Embrace your servitude.

  3. I bought a PS Knight electrical wiring handbook, much easier to read and understand with schematics on the same page. Awesome stuff.
Code regulations are awful to read/comprehend.
An example is applied thus by city of Calgary inspectors.
Handsfree faucets are required in all public washrooms, unless the fixture is in a private washroom. For Calgary private=residential only.

  4. That ruling is so bad, the crown should appeal it out of embarrassment. There is no benefit to society in creating bad law, It will jump up and bite them in the ass some day.

    1. Silly serf. As if our ruling elites and their supporters are ever held to the same legal standards as those who cross them.

I feel bad for Mr. Knight, I really do, but he’s got absolutely no chance of coming out of this with anything resembling a victory or even a fair verdict. He knew this. He already left the country to get out of the jurisdiction of a Canadian court. CSA is hell bent on destroying him, his business, and any shreds of anything he may have left after that, and will do so at every step of the way with the full blessing of the kangaroo Canadian courts.

  5. I’ve read both the original ruling and the FCA ruling that started all this.
While Knight’s frustration with Canadian IP law has merit, it is fairly clear that as a matter of Canadian law, PS Knight was a copycat. You may not like Canadian law but, regardless, CSA has a valid claim in the work and has asserted it. Knight’s claim that because the Code was adopted into law it loses its copyright is certainly valid in the USA but, unfortunately for Knight, we do not live in the USA where copyright law is very different. In any case, Knight has continued to use this red herring even though he knows the Code itself exists independently of the law, so even if a government adopts it, the Code itself does not cease to exists in its other state. As for the high minded claim that ‘the law should not copyrighted on public policy grounds’, well, no one is saying that the legislation can’t be reprinted or used just that you can’t take it and sell it for profit.
Knight cannot be surprised by the most recent decision given his actions since losing decisively in 2018. When you flee the country and start publishing a work you know is copyrighted in a foreign country you cannot be pretend to be hard done by when the copyright holder fights back and the courts of equity look unfavorably on you.
Not sure who is giving this guy advice at this point but he’s wrong and he should stop before he gets involved with the US authorities. If he thinks Canada is bad, he has no idea what the Americans are like.

    1. Then it would seem like a very very straightforward case settled rather quickly, rather than the clusterf*ck its been from a judicial perspective – todays ruling highlighting that with its myriad of contradictions.

Half Monty above hits the nail on the head.

Justice Pallota must be angling for a seat on the Supreme Court.

      1. It’s not contradictory. You’re reading the righteous indignation of a litigant who was sure he was right and turned out to be wrong. The litigation has been relatively straightforward throughout and the initial federal court ruling and appeal decision dealt with all of Knight’s claims thoroughly.
We are now into the ‘everyone is out to get me’ phase of the delusion.
I get that CSA sucks and is terrible at its job but no one is doing Knight any favors by continuing to humor him.

        1. slaw.
          Interesting interpretation.
Just how narrow a focus do you have to maintain to overlook the corruption?
Or is that just “Good Government” in your world?
I assume the concept of “private Law” is no problem in your world.
Or could it be some other interpretation, such as your paycheck depending on your not seeing any problem?
Knight is right,he gains nothing by complying or not complying, for the Just Us System has deemed him guilty,on every count,in every way.
          Due Process?
          Not in our “Courts”.

          Sore Loser?

Funny thing that,For Peter Knight started out believing we had a Justice System, where rule of law held sway.
Now he is a political refugee in the USA.
          And of course “Its Legal”.
In Confederated Kleptocracy of Can Ahh Duh,the only law is do not steal, your government hates competition.

        2. So, all those websites that tell people of Canadian electrical code, and all those videos, are also in violation of the CSA’s copyright?
Almost a decade of litigation, with him allowed to publish, explicitly granted in the Stay, says you are full of it. I’m sure you’re so much better versed in this case and it’s details that Knight’s lawyers are.

  6. Well the truth is, the Federal Court is full of idiots sitting on the bench. They are a disgrace.
