I like his stance and he is extremely eloquent as well and an excellent speaker…but being an Albertan there is not a hope in hell I would vote PPC.

It is long past time for the West to say adios to Ontario or even Manitoba East. BC can die on the vine for all I care (the Lower MAO Land that is).

The only thing deserved for that woke cabal of garbage..?? a Free 1 way ticket to the shithole of their choice: Cuba or Venezuela…..on a Military C-130

  1. It has occurred to me recently. the utter hypocrisy of the “You’re killing grandma,” “if it saves just one life” pro-vid types. When it comes to the elderly and infirm, the medical community and greater society has been pushing them over the edge by passively withholding treatments, the necessities of life, effectively starving them to death, or outright killing them with meds or what have you. So they can kindly stop with this BS that they care so much about that 88 year old alzheimers patient, because it should be clear to all, they obviously do not.

    1. I wonder how many tens of thousands are going to be killed with the vax? “If it only saves one life”. Over 11,000 deaths in America now and many more in the UK and the EU. The so called doubled vaxxed now represent over 40% of those in the hospital in the UK with the flu. That’s one hell of a product they go going.

    2. I agree the system’s treatment of the elderly with dementia of one form or other do get medicated with drugs according to their behavioural needs, those who are just elderly with other issues are given meds for depression which have side effects, including stroke and who knows what, each person reacts differently.

People are living longer, we need to make some big changes in how they are helped besides putting them in institutions and “managing” them. Being institutionalized and needing care is depressing in itself, it’s a last resort before the inevitable.

        1. Absolutely. And to hear these same people who, two years ago, couldn’t WAIT for these people to die, now bleating on about how covid is killing them and how we should all stay home because we’re literally killing grandma by living our lives, is disingenuous and ridiculous. They don’t care about the elderly, they care about control.

        2. I don’t think making one the president of the US was a very good idea.

    3. Ryan

One look at ones CPP/OAS monthly stipend makes what you say abundantly Clear.

Had we had boomers had the ability to invest those contributions ourselves….in a low risk investment…I’d warrant our monthly income would be well over $3500/month.

EVERY Fed Govt in this fkd up country has, since Ive been alive, considered the CPP and EI for that matter to be slush funds for whatever vanity project those assholes decide….

The upcoming proposed change to rename this a Federal Benefit is beyond fucking OUTRAGEOUS…!!

  2. Some of the Root Cause of the South African Riots has been Lockdowns and Hunger from closed down economy no pay and jobs. COVID BULLSHIT. At least this reporters take….
Same going in the EU…I think there has been more unrest than the MSM Propagandists have been reporting.
They want censorship and to control the message.

    1. The root caus efor these riots and more is an organized campaign by ex-president Zuma’s pals.

      1. Yes indeed, so says the msm. But i think they tapped the anger the reporter was covering the building anger from lockdowns.. Before Zuma’s jail time.. Yes i understand. The folks were so happy being on short rations for months. Before the Zuma affair.. They loved their lockdowns like everyone else..Such a nice break from working and eating each day.. Besides. Much healthier comrade.. Fasting is healthy Comrade.

  3. Talking about freedom and democracy, the US has a quickly growing solution to BAD CROOKED GOVTS.
    Realignment.
A Texas patriot group already has over 400,000 members.
And several other states are also organizing because they have had enough of big nanny state bullspitter commie politicians.

Western Canada is very much in the same boat with a bunch of empty headed commies in Ottawa thinking they are god’s gift to the world.
Time for a new political alignment for Western Canada.
    Bring it.

Hay, this is going to be fun.

My previous comment had 1 timed out and 2 couldn’t establish connection
Usually happens when the gubment doesn’t want it printed.

  6. I have seen too many “separatist” movements in the west come and falter to nothingness. Quebec twice almost succeeded if you accept the referendum results in one the most corrupt provinces.

Here is why the calls for separation in the west will never succeed:
The children are not going hungry. Only when the children are starving will the revolution begin. The crooks at the top are aware enough to prevent that from happening using social programs funded by other people’s money.

At some point the farmers will fail to provide the food and the dollar will not have the power to purchase sufficient food for the masses. See Venezuela for one method of achieving this. Workers there cannot buy food for themselves and their families and so must choose who eats.

Someday this will happen in Can/USA, but until then enough people will vote left to keep the extreme left (National Socialist Workers Party of Canada, I mean the Liberals) in power until the collapse happens. Watch for conservative Christians to get the blame.

    1. Comrade Oot you are so right… The chickens still lay, the goat still has milk, momma still has flour and salt. It is the women who start the revolutions.. When she has no food to put in front of her children and has to say no no, not your day to eat Little Jimmy. You eat tomorrow.. Then shit happens.. But happily the proletariat are gradually losing all trust and faith in the Commissar’s. Which is why they loosened the lock downs a bit. And took their boots off everyones throats for a wee bit.. The boot will be back very soon tho… Comrade Oot..

    2. Agreed.

It’s said there are 4 days between food and revolution. Keep an eye on Cuba. They’ve been on the brink for decades.

  7. Andrew Coyne at Blackie’s Globe and Mail addresses the Trudeau cult. And a second tribe in Alberta is taking Big Chief Gay Eagle to court, because he cancelled a coal mine.

      1. Yah like Ezra says. Toronto has been locked down longer than anyplace else in the whole fucking world.. Tory should have gotten a good beating and lost some hide.. Ezra also says. Stockholm Syndrome.. When they bring back the lockdowns.. People need to understand, that they need to pick up anything and seek these Tyrants out and take it to them.. Lock down or a bit of jail time. What is the difference.. I think we will see that happen.

    1. Absolutely F’in FANTASTIC.
This man has balls of steel.
These clowns that lord over us deserve much more than a tongue lashing.
Am reminded of that brute Dem politician Maxine Watters who said ” get up in their face wherever they reside or eat and make them feel unwanted ” something to that effect.
Sauce for the Gander and Goose indeed.

      1. Yes. High time these power-crazed bastards get just a wee taste of the anxiety that they have visited upon the private sector. May these uncomfortable reminders proliferate and intensify.

You know, “We’re all in this together.”

  8. One of Richie Rich’s cabinet lapdogs will be making an announcement at the reopening of the CN Tower today. Rumour has it that she will be throwing hundred dollar bills from the top of the tower to the peasants on the ground. But don’t worry, his other cabinet ministers will be burning jet fuel all over Turtle Island today throwing money around. Nothing to do with the election of course.

    1. Ya know, he is really gonna get awkward when the question “when will the emergency order get lifted?”.

Awkward like when asked what he personally is doing to reduce single use plastic.

  9. Blacklock reports that a Liberal appointed senator works for a private company, that has federal contracts while serving as a senator. And Adolf’s government considered a national identification system for all residents of Turtle Island.

    1. And Adolf’s government considered a national identification system for all residents of Turtle Island.

I thought the SIN did that. By the way, wasn’t it introduced while Pearson was PM?

    1. Her comments are not helpful. It is absurd to associate the anti- mask and anti-lockdown lockdown positions with white nationalists. Without being specific, the article just slings mud at anyone challenging the government narrative. Some things coming from alternative media are “misinformation”, and some are not. People are struggling to find the truth, and many are suffering because of government’s misguided, destructive policies. By not even asking serious questions, the media is complicit in destroying social trust. This is not a serious piece of journalism– it’s nothing but pap.

  10. @Ryan 1:15: True and very sad. We also should not forget about the devastating toll that lockdowns are having on seniors who live alone, and also those in care homes. I have an elderly friend who is struggling and visibly deteriorating from loneliness. She is very sharp and used to be very busy with social and cultural activities. Remember those ( vaccinated) seniors pleading to be allowed outside? One 90 year old said she would prefer assisted death rather than another lockdown. Lockdowns are devastating the most vulnerable in our society, yet broadly the media and many younger people are oblivious to this tragedy. We get fear porn in the form of stories of oldsters who have died from Covid ( recent Ottawa Citizen goulish series), but silence regarding the impact of lockdowns on the elderly who are still with us. Where is the outrage?

  11. Report: Hunter Biden’s Art Dealer Sued for Fraud and Breach of Contract

    https://www.breitbart.com/crime/2021/07/22/report-hunter-bidens-art-dealer-sued-fraud-breach-contract/

Hahaha, and this is the man we are supposed to trust to keep this scam ethical.

“But Hunter Biden will “presumably socialize with potential buyers,” which is “seemingly at odds with an agreement struck with the gallery owner that aims to keep buyers’ identities secret from Biden, President Biden, the White House, and the public.”

“He really wants to help Hunter and for people to recognize his talent,” Davis claimed of Bergès. “So you know, I think it’s all on the up and up.””

BTW, if I ran the GOP, I would have a prominent Republican set up the exact same scam to mock the absolute insanity of Hunter Biden shamelessly using an age-old method for laundering drug/corruption money. But then, I would have filed to impeach Biden and Harris the micro-second they were sworn in, too.

    1. However, in a tweet, the Department of Homeland Security said that the closure extension–which applies to the southern border as well–was partially motivated by the desire to minimize the spread of the highly contagious delta variant.

Yeah, we have that southern so called border sealed up tight as a drum!

  12. And now the Communist Broadcasting Corporation. Adolf’s CBC is outraged that Nazis are funding the memorial for the victims of communism and Hitler Harper is to blame. And white racist bastards are running rampant at the Royal Canadian Mint. Also Justin is wonderful stories.

    1. CBC is busy campaigning for Trudeau.
If this were a Conservative leader calling an election after what we’ve all gone through with Covid they’d be excoriated.
Trudeau of many faces is using it as an opportunity. Due to his high profile Covid update pop-outs he has high polling numbers, he has fooled enough fools who are dumb enough to vote on one issue.

      1. I guess this could be filed under “Coulda Had Max” or is it “You’re Gonna Get Juthtin”

“Moreover, O’Toole has allowed his deputy chief of staff, Steve Outhouse, to continue to operate his own communications business which, among other things, has accepted contracts — paid for with funds donated by party members — to help nine individuals compete in Conservative nomination contests all while continuing his taxpayer-funded employment in the opposition leader’s office.”

        https://globalnews.ca/news/8053232/otoole-supporters-party-insiders-taxpayer-funded-contracts/

        Dude’s name is Outhouse?! WTF?

That’s as funny as a two storey outhouse…

  13. The myth of and war on “single use” plastic bags.

Yes, I know, many people do toss fast food plastic bags, but not as much as one thinks. Lately, I have asked my friends and relatives whether they toss plastic bags after one use. Obviously, this is an informal survey, but none do. Actually, what I found out is that most of us have always used plastic bags more than once. With environmental messages and government decrees, we are re-cycling plastic bags a lot. Cloth bags are not very washable or re-usable and have more germs. Plastic bags can be washed easily in the kitchen sink.

Water use is important too. If you have to rinse a soup or ravioli can to be perfectly clean for re-cycling, you are using water, which is important for other uses. Re-cycle companies, we now know, take our re-cycles and just dump it into landfill, a zero-waste fail in most municipalities.

When I go to the grocery store, I usually bring plastic bags from the last trip. So that is double use. Sometimes it is quadrable use or more. After that, the bag is used for garbage. As well, I use the bags to transport separated re-cycle items en-route to re-cycle centres or to my home recycling areas.

My friends and relatives also use plastic bags for additional other uses, like picking up after pets and other yucky items that are garbage.

    1. The overwhelming majority of ocean plastic comes from countries in the third world. The effort would be better spent making it pay for them to clean it up. Of course what they would do is skim off so much of it for graft that little would be left over for the intended purpose, since the real intended purpose, just like with “green energy” would be graft.

  14. When you hear stories constantly about how Indians had it rough in the past, just remember they were not the only ones. Life was rough for everyone. My brother was in management at the mental hospital in Penetang Ont. He pointed me to the Waypoint Mental Health Center’s website, which is what the mental hospital is called now. It has a history section that describes how it was a reform school for teenage boys before it became a hospital. When a fire destroyed the wood building, the boys were used to haul stones up the hill to build the walls and foundation for the building that still stands today. And yes there is a grave yard there. I don’t see anyone interested in those graves. Or anyone interested in the community grave yards around there, containing the graves of settlers that tried to scratch a living in the area.

    1. Doing Family Tree years back. Reached a road block.. One direct ancestor just vanished. Yah he vanished because a cholera epidemic raged through and killed him and his FIL and half the community round about and they all got tossed into a pit together. As a preventative measure to save lives.
Left his widow with 4 kids. So a lot of skeltons in Upper Canada for sure.
Don’t see much hoopla about this sort of thing. Death was very common, most of these deaths were due to water quality and ignorance of public health

  15. I just saw five large posters of my local M.P. with an election tag line. Definite breach of Elections Canada Act. Should I report him now or wait until after the election is called presumably early next week?

      1. “moons us”…
…he’s looking for his walnuts, someone told him he had none.

  16. SDA stalwarts will have noticed that the flags on all federal buildings in Canada are flying at half-mast (actually, since May 30th, according to Marc Belanger, Senior Ceremonial and Protocol Officer, Canadian Symbols, Dept. of Canadian Heritage.)

According to Mr. Belanger the order to lower the flags came directly and solely from the Prime Minister and they “will be flown at half-mast until further notice, following the discovery of remains of 215 children at the Kamloops Indian Residential School in memory of the thousands of children who were sent to residential schools, for those who never returned, and in honour of the families whose lives were forever changed.” Mr. Belanger notes that fire-fighters killed in the line of duty are honoured between sunrise and sunset on the first Sunday in September.

According to Mr. Belanger, never before in recorded history has a Prime Minister ordered a flag-lowering without an end date. Apparently, the only thing that can intervene is a new PM, who could rescind Justin’s order.

I offer the foregoing without editorial comment except to say that perpetual mourning surely isn’t healthy.

    Cyril Mulrey

    1. OK, then. If they continue at half mast, I will interpret it as mourning for Canada. The current Liberal government is destroying the country. The flags at half mast are an ongoing visual reminder.

    Isn’t She Lovely

“It should not be as challenging as it is for Clinic 554 to provide its essential services to our trans community, to families, and to women who deserve access to reproductive and sexual health services,” she told reporters during a visit to Fredericton.
Asked about Trudeau’s 2019 commitment, Freeland said the federal government had made a “significant” clawback of health transfer payments last year to punish the province and will have a new announcement soon.
“We mean what we say about that,” she said.
