In other news, looks like there’s an itty bitty problem in U.S.-Canada official communications. As you all know, Trudeau recently said fully-jabbed U.S. citizens and permanent residents could start crossing the border on August 9. Well, today the Department of Homeland Security officially said, “Forget that” and extended the current travel restrictions through August 21.
But if you’re illegally coming across the southern border, no problem.
And the Americans aren’t ‘recognizing’ mixed ‘vaccinations’ as valid for border crossing. Sorry, legal border crossing.
How sad that Canada has NO Free Speech Rights …and what America USED to have are being eroded by the BIG TECH marketplace of “authorized speech”
Arresting Allard is probably a sure fire way to make sure that the protest happens. Can you imagine the chaos as Bombers fans run away in panic?

I don’t know the details of what he was organizing, but if he planned to block access to the field with a small number of people, then I would presume they would be socially distant from each other, unless there is some draconian order issued under the guise of the Public Health Act.
Still an asshole thing to do keeping ordinary people from a football game, but they do let so many others do such things without consequence, and usually end up giving them our money.
They wouldn’t have to block access. With people this scared of Covid, all they need to do is stand near the access points with some placards on public land and pandemonium would ensue.
Having said that, causing pandemonium is not great PR but it’s probably going to come to that at some point whether we like it or not. The government is doing nothing to lessen divisions between citizens, so an ugly tipping point will eventually be reached.
I don’t see the equity or reconciliation in only allowing vaxxed fans attend the game.
