Revolutionary fervor

The mainstream media would have you believe that the unrest in South Africa is entirely due to the conviction of former President Jacob Zuma for corruption, but when you insist on another round of Covid lockdowns in a nation with 42% unemployment, you’re just marrying dynamite with a match.

As the worst violence in years plagues South Africa, the country’s largest oil refinery, Sapref, has shuttered operations “due to the civil unrest in the country and disruption of supply routes in and out of Kwazulu-Natal,” the company said.

There’s also concern that fuel stations across some regions of South Africa could soon run dry. Sapref has declared “force majeure,” meaning it cannot honor supply contracts.

  1. Good thing they got rid of all those nasty whites. You know, the guys who actually knew how to make everything work.

  2. If Bananada wasn’t a turd world shithole itself we would import all the civilized South Africans and donate machetes for the rest.

    1. Prinz Dummkopf banned white South Africans from emigrating to Canada. “They’we aww wathithtth.”

      1. To be fair it wasn’t PM Baked Potato that did that, but our Somali minster of Somali importation.

        1. The Russians were smart , they took in the white SA farmers.
They need their experience to keep Russia eating.
          Putin knows what’s coming.

  3. While I was at UBC over 40 years ago, the congregation I was associated with heard sermons on one of the following:

    – South Africa,
    – Central America, or
    – wealth re-distribution.

On South Africa Sundays, we were told about how evil apartheid was and how the African National Congress and the South West Africa People’s Organization were God’s angels, doing His work, with AK-47s and rocket-propelled grenades being instruments of “social justice”. Whenever I expressed my misgivings about it, particularly since the commandment about killing was being freely violated, the reaction I got was similar to: “Why? Because. Shaddup.”

In other words, the mentality was that whites were freely expendable. After all, to make an omelette…… Now South Africa has its omelette. Where are the churches now or was the eradication of whitey (justified by selected obscure Scripture verses conveniently quote out of context) the objective all along?

  4. Part of a person’s red-pilling journey has to be events in South Africa and Zimbabwe.

  5. “There’s also concern that fuel stations across some regions of South Africa could soon run dry. Sapref has declared “force majeure,” meaning it cannot honor supply contracts.”

That only happens in Africa. That will never happen in North America. Zimbabwe, South Africa, the Balkans and Sarajevo are thousands of miles away. Pipelines never get shutdown. Rail lines never get blocked. Highways never get shutdown by protests.. Cities are never paralyzed by riots in Canada or the US; and conditions will never, ever get worse. We will never have Earthquakes, Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Floods, Blizzards, Forest Fires. Not in a million years! (yes, this is SARCASM.)

Prepare now. Food, Fuel, Pharmaceuticals and Firearms. If you haven’t, start small, start easy. Plan for 3 days, then add enough for a week, next month add another weeks worth. You don’t need a lot of expensive freeze dried food. Canned food works great unless you have to walk somewhere. Buy an extra few cans when they are on sale. Buy what you like, and cycle it through your pantry. Prepare for the possible dangers you may face. Don’t worry about earthquakes in MN, or Hurricanes in California.

  6. No surprise really. The murders and looting on white owned farms out in the rural areas went unpunished. Did the authorities think the violence would stop when all the soft targets were annihilated?

  7. Hmmm, covid caused it, and here’s me thinking that p’raps the ANC and the Mandela’s might have some culpability.

Well at least nobody blamed global warming.

Watch the video Brian references above. Then play a game, count the number of white South Africans rioting, looting, burning.

  8. This is an inevitable confrontation. Mbeki is supposed to have chosen Zuma as his deputy because he was so obviously unsuitable statesman material then Zuma deposed him and the looting bexame obvious and massive. Remember Zuma is a rapist who intimidated his accuser, Zuma has almost 900 credible corruption charges he has thus far avoided. Getting him out of office was an achievement but Ramaphosa got in by a thin margin in a party full of Zuma collaborators, making tackling entrenched problems almost impossible. Zuma is in jail for contempt of court, for failing to appear at hearings about State Capture ie the redistribution of state assets and income to his fellows. South Africa is at an historical pivot point whether to reinstate the rule of law and tackle corruption or to go over the precipice. Now is the critical moment. It is not a failed state, yet.

    1. “It is not a failed state, yet.”

But it will become one. Once they started cozying up to the likes of Zimbabwe and started with their asinine state-sanctioned steal-white-farms looting (whatever pretty name they gave it, that’s what it truly was) it was obvious where they were going.

They’ll be just another African shithole in another generation if not less.

  9. The same world [KwaZulu-Natal] seen through different eyes…

    From the Lonely Planet:

“Rough and ready, smart and sophisticated, rural and rustic: there’s no doubt that KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) is eclectic. It’s a region where glassy malls touch shabby suburbs, and action-packed adventurers ooze adrenaline while laid-back beach bods drip with suntan lotion. Mountainscapes contrast with flat, dry savannahs, while the towns’ central streets, teeming with African life, markets and noise, are in stark contrast to the sedate tribal settlements in rural areas. Here, too, is traditional Zululand, whose people are fiercely proud of their culture.”

And from the news aggregator “News Now” on the smart and sophisticated KwaZulu-Natal:

“Arrests, deaths double as isolated looting and vandalism spread”

“Gun shops out of ammunition as residents fear looting [will spread]”

“Police Minister calls for calm as racial tensions simmer”

    “SA riots, looting hit rand”

It could be pointed out that KwaZulu means “home of the Zulu race” and that Zulus are not indigenous to South Africa. They are a conquering nation. But who would see the double irony of a conquering nation claiming that colonialism is killing South Africa and a Lonely Planet that sees an invading species as occupying their “traditional Zululand”.
