The Duchess of Cambridge is self-isolating after coming into contact with someone who has since tested positive for Covid-19, a spokesperson for Kensington Palace told CNN on Monday.
“Her Royal Highness is not experiencing any symptoms, but is following all relevant government guidelines and is self-isolating at home,” the spokesperson said.
UK government guidelines stipulate that anyone who has had close contact with an infected person must isolate for 10 days.
The source said the duchess is tested for Covid-19 twice a week with lateral flow tests, in line with the royal household’s testing system. She has also received both doses of her Covid-19 vaccine, the source added.
If you have to go through this crap even with the vaccine, my decision to not get the vaccine appears to be justified.
Exactly! Calculation of the whole risk benefit thing includes whether or not you can go back to normal life. If you can’t go back to normal life what is the point of taking the risk of the vaccine???
What’s the story here if she has had both doses of vaccine? Is that not what is supposed to prevent us from getting covid if we come in contact with a carrier?

First off it isn’t a vaccine and I wish everyone would stop calling it such. It’s sole practical purpose is that it potentially reduces the severity of the symptoms. It doesn’t prevent anyone from catching covid or from passing it on. Why do you think every government on the planet gave big pharma complete immunity from prosecution. The people demanded a vaccine immediately ( just like how it happens in their favourite TV shows and movies ) and the government is giving it to them. Good and hard.
Isn’t there an easier way to say you need a break from your Royal duties? It’s completely reasonable to take a Holiday from shaking hands and posing for selfies. Just take a break.

Yes. Exactly. What is the point of the vaccine? My understanding that people without symptoms do not transmit the virus. If you are not sick, you should not have to quarrantine.

Increasingly this nonsense is just discouraging people from getting tested or disclosing any information about who they have been near. Staying blissfully ignorant regarding the ccp virus and trusting your own immune system seems like the most sane thing to do.
When western Canada separates there should be a special push to become a republic and be done with the foreign inbreds.
Hopefully they’ll remain in isolation for the next generation.

Actually, from what is known of the Duchess of Cambridge, she’s probably doing all of that. What is interesting is that there is serious criticism of the Duke of Cambridge because he’s going about his royal duties and meeting all his commitments. There is a serious lack of understanding about the risks and responsibilities of being out among the public.
Do agree, though, that why get the jabs if you still can’t have a normal life. Have spent a couple of Sundays with grandbrats and family (mainly – though not always – outside) with no masks and watching the grandbrats seriously not social distancing. Had a great time, not the least watching grandbrats and buds (it was a birthday party) engage each other with water guns. We’re doing patios (weather permitting) and thoroughly enjoying being able to go out. Apparently our anal city council has managed (though without the consent of His Purpleness and our alderperson who is a witch-spelled-with-a-“b”) to give up some of their control on we the people. Suspect it was because there would be massive defiance of their arbitrary and intolerant edicts.

Do you have a verified source for that? I’ve been provoking profound cognitive dissonance in friends and family by referring to the Manitoba director of public health forced to testify under oath that they were using cycle counts of 30+, and their own lab tests showed that a cycle count of 18 gave 50% false positives. Their response is always to say that Ontario is “doing it right” so the insane case counts here are totes legit.

Only the PCR of 38. Family member works in a hospital. PCR threshold used there is 38. No proof otherwise as no one is willing to publish the data .. if they even know , as it may vary depending on who they buy the test kits from.
CDC recommended PCR of 40 , but there are reports of some using 45 in the US , and since Ontario would source from the US , likely the same here in Ontario.
40 in Manitoba unless they are sure the person has the COVID and then they bump it up to 45 if the 40 was negative. 56% false positive. That came out from the cross examination in the court case of Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedom.
I took the money I used to donate to the Progressive Conservatives and I’ve been sending it to the JCCF instead. They’re the only ones actually giving the government flack. Alberta Health Services was supposed to provide the JCCF with the data proving the lockdowns were necessary by July after getting postponements from the courts. July 1 they open up and release the confiscated churches and let the pastor in jail go. JCCF hasn’t received any data yet. I’ll bet there is no data justifying the lockdowns.
38 -40 cycles gives well over 56% false positives. Completely useless. The WHO says 25 cycles. At 38-40 you will get a positive off a flea.

Doesn’t this mean that William and the kids should be isolating? Or possibly even Harry, who flew back to the States after the statue unveiling on Thursday? She wasn’t there, but he was chatting up close with William.
Now we have to work on herd immunity to Trudeaumania. I’m not very optimistic. He has a lot of support from the noddies out there who think he’s dreamy and has done a wonderful job saving us from the sniffles.

If you campaigned on a policy to investigate the widespread treason of our ruling classes, you would probably end up embroiled in lawsuits and fighting Max for last place. But in a perfect world, there would be concern about that treason and a will to investigate it. A lot of people have been bought off, they don’t care because by the time the nation loses its freedom altogether, they will be either gone or so old it won’t matter much to them. But at the rate the government is selling out Canada to China, we will be a completely owned colony by 2030.
When the reality of that sinks in, people will wish they had done something about it, although there won’t be many places where they can check their opinions with other people.
In B.C. I cannot get a straight answer as to what is considered “full immunity”. It obviously covers those getting the two jab regimen, but seems to discount those (145,000 and counting) who have recovered, followed by injection of a single dose. For example, we’re told that as of July 5th (today) the “fully vaccinated” will not have to enjoy a gov’t hotel, nor to isolate for two weeks.
But they will not say whether recovered persons with a single dose will also be exempt. Natural anti-bodies + a Moderna or Pfizer injection are widely recognized as equivalent or superior to a two jab dose of either vaccine, so why won’t health authorities address this? It would seem an abrogation of human right to force a significant portion of the population to undergo what is in effect, a third level of protection when others only require two.
Due to other health reasons, my wife and I have booked a one week Alaska cruise for early August and we have no idea whether we’ll be allowed back into the country without hotel quarantine and isolation, despite no being any greater a threat to public health than travellers who have received their two doses of gov’t goop.
A group of researchers in Spain have analyzed the contents of Pfizer “vaccine” , which they claim has a valid chain of custody , meaning no tampering. The analysis shows something that looks like graphene-dioxide (99.4%) and mRNA (0.6%). The researchers want to do a chemical analysis of the 99.4% “stuff” to identify exactly what it is. They claim to have 100 vials with valid chain of custody.
Given this is a “vaccine” , why does it contain 99.4% other “stuff” and what is it’s purpose?
I will withhold judgment until more tests are performed to more accurately identify the contents.
