  1. Central planners gotta centrally plan. This latest gaff is just par for the course in Manitoba. Under the new guidelines issued today, fully vaccinated Manitobans can legally sit in a restaurant or bar together, but God help you if you invite them to your house. “Brief” washroom use is permitted, but that’s all. Pallister has managed to bring crisis micromanagement to a whole new level.

    1. Yeah and the experimental, approved for emergency use only, shot works SO well that under the new decree the vaxxed cannot mingle or sit at the same table as someone unvaxxed. More Pallister idiocy.

      1. Which is weird because at this point politicians and the vaxxed should want the unvaccinated to be out and about without masks as much as possible
        Why?
        1) Because the sooner the unvaccinated get covid and recover (and 99.2% to 99.997% will) the sooner the unvaccinated become immune and ,voila, herd immunity.
        2) the delta variant is milder but more contagious
        3) pretty much only the young and healthy are unvaccinated meaning few hospitalizations
        4) the vaccines effectiveness hasn’t worn off yet so, if they believe in the vaccines protection, the vaccinated should have no fear of the unvaccinated
        5) those who have chosen to be unvaccinated, like me, will not be bullied into compliance so naturally acquired immunity is the only way forward (although treatment options would be beneficial to all)

  7. Went to the vet yesterday to get my dog the yearly rabies ect shot. The vet had giant jugs of ivermectin for cows on display. I asked if any non rancher type humans were buying the stuff and they got very uncomfortable and shrugged it off with a “we don’t ask” comment.

    1. And for this reason I suspect there is something in the damn shot that makes us scannable by some means we are unaware of. How else could anyone prove quickly they agreed to be a lab rat? I hate more than anything that my thoughts could be considered conspiracy but even more that they might become facts.

  10. You know, I used to believe news reports, that they were honest, accurate and without bias or a hidden agenda. I used to think governments were ethical and worked for our good. I used to think that government employees did their jobs honestly and without political bias or subterfuge.

    Past reality has disabused me of that notion.

    2. Worked in government for 25 years, 15 at a ministry headquarters location. I too thought as you did Grok until I got to the headquarters and discovered nothing could be further from the truth. If I didn’t have two young children to raise I would have walked away, which, in the end is why this abomination survives. Giving my kids a shot at a good life is more important than fighting a battle that there is no chance of winning.

    3. You erroneously thought that people in the media are generally honest like you are.
      They aren’t.
      There is no special skill in being a journalist, therefore the way to get to the top is by being a cheating, backstabbing, office politics playing liar and scumbag.

      It took me a long time to understand what complete scumbags that the media are.
      Ask a journalist to explain the value of honesty to a society. No chance that they could do it.
      They couldn’t define honesty and they couldn’t understand the value of trust and honesty to a society.

      A friend of mine whom I have great respect for became a journalist.
      He eventually quit in disgust.

    4. Have done my share of government work (unavoidable in Ottawa). Only rarely did I meet a government employee who wasn’t a shameless parasite, an otherwise unemployable imbecile, or both.

  11. In BC they gave us a card with the important info on it. I can’t see how Manitoba would not have done the same. Then again, with governments anything is possible, the more inept the better.

Pallister is getting ready to implement a digital RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) to automatically identify and track individuals in real time, thanks to the “barcode” embedded in the injection. I don’t think for one second that the fear mongering, shaming, lotteries, excessive pressure and coercion by any means to get 100% jabbed is for a virus that is still over 99.9% survivable.

  12. I was born and raised in Manitoba, not the place I left and don’t plan on setting foot there ever again. Bailed out of a 50th high school reunion which is currently on hold as they kept changing plans and dates being not sure what the government will allow them! Fun is now mandated, might as well have it in Beijing. My great grandparents escaped the Ukraine, pulled plows around southern Manitoba farm land by hand to build a free life. Now it is being dismantled by a premier who smiles gleefully as he proudly boasts about how many civil rights he has stripped from his citizens….and they seem to like it. Fuck all those going along with this, Manitobans who disagree with these measures need to grow a pair.

    2. I really believe there is a reason that the 3 provinces which have the most “cases” and have been advised to implement the most draconian measures are all conservative.
      Not a coincidence. Gov’t departments staffed by unionized bureaucrats. Wonder how they voted?
      It has been said of the States – you don’t need a President for life if you have a Bureaucracy for life.

  19. It matters not which party is in the seat of authority, all that matters is that the provinces and nation are run by civil servants who are for the most part unionized. That means that socialists and/or Marxists are at the helm, steering the money, policies and media whichever way they see fit and which benefits themselves the most.

    To throw away or hide medical records is a Federal and Provincial criminal offense. Why aren’t the socialist/Marxist media not screaming at the top of their collective lungs that heads should roll? Because, they will rarely if ever out their partners in crime, unless it benefits themselves. Who has odds there will be prosecutions and convictions over this?(if it is even real?).

    Colour me sceptical!

  20. Just spoke to my doctor here in Halton, Ontario about the change in my second shot from Pfizer to Moderna for my second vaccination and would he recommend it. His wife is in the same predicament and though he explained the vaccines are the same she is going to wait until Pfizer is available. He told me having the second shot will give me 93% protection against the Delta variance from India, 24% without the second shot. His wife has the same information and is still going to wait. I’m still confused though my wife is all in for the Moderna shot.

  21. Did not the recipients get a card or paper documenting the shot? My understanding is AHS and pharmacies in Alberta issue those. Didn’t Manitoba do the same?
