  1. So as not to give Facebook any curious traffic, the FB page of Alphonse Traverse makes it pretty clear that he’s aboriginal.

    1. And has a long criminal record to prove he’s a total scofflaw yet he was out on bail.

      We must be more understanding since the poor boy is obviously a member of an oppressed minority whose behaviour can be better understood and forgiven since he’s obviously a victim of intergenerational trauma and systematic racism. And the mountie is a White man, imposing White oppression so he deserved whatever he got.

    1. I do believe that current policies are designed to ensure that we do not have the will or means to protect ourselves from criminal elements. You know who they vote for, makes sense that their politicians would enact policies to protect their voters and troops. Look at the relatively minimal legal consequences of participating in an “approved” riot or attacking the right person.

    It’s quite possible there’s more than one “Alphonse Traverse” in the city of Winnipeg so I’m not discounting that. 2nd degree murder charge along with two others for a beating death in March 08 1997, (Number 6 for the folks following at home) which according to my limited math skills would put this Alphonse at 17, so not out of the realm of possibility.   13. A couple years ago a couple RCMP officers in Whitecourt shot and killed a presumably armed person as he drove away after a traffic stop. He was wanted for shooting at people. Their trial for murder is coming up. Cops cannot win. That’s why the only cops they can recruit are frigging assholes. No normal person would tolerate such bullcrap. They are all anti-social freaks because that seems to be the way we want them. They make split second decisions whether they live or die and are held to the rules of conduct of a church picnic.

    Had a friend murdered by a native. The courts decided it was assault because bashing someone’s brains in and killing them is just that. He was out in 2 years.
