I am of the opinion that nutcases who murder should be just as guilty as anyone. The sentence should reflect the handicap with a maximum 50% reduction with return to jail to complete the sentence for going off meds. What should not happen is someone should not be excused of murder by reason of mental illness and then get punted from the nuthouse in a year or two.
