  6. Behind the cameras of now-cancelled CBC TV show “Kim’s Convenience” was apparently an undiverse, toxic soup of racism and white privilege. LOL.

    The show was co-created by Korean-Canadian Ins Choi and starred an overwhelmingly Asian cast. Apparently that wasn’t good enough. The show was cancelled after Choi decided to move on to other projects.

    “With the final season launching on Netflix Canada, the Asian-Canadian actor (Simu Liu) criticized its “overwhelmingly white” producers for discounting input from Asian cast members, revealed that the actors were paid at an “absolute horsepoop rate” and that showrunners were “epically reclusive.” ”

  12. The Trans Mountain pipeline will never get built. Federal government has ordered pipeline crews to stop cutting down the sacred trees on the route of the pipeline.

  17. Some good news for commercial aviation: my son received an email yesterday telling him to expect a phone call in the next four weeks recalling him to flying duty. He will, of course, be required to retrain since he hasn’t flown in over a year, so it is likely he will be back in the cockpit sometime around Labour Day.

    1. Wrong that is a smoke screen. If PeeWee Kenney had balls he could end Equalization Today with his pen.
      Yes it says Equalization is enshrined in the Fake Constitution that can be changed anytime by Quebec.
      But all Kenney has to do is issue a Notice to Ottawa that Alberta is withdrawing from The Federal Provincial Fiscal Arrangements Act which is a voluntary agreement between the Provinces and Ottawa to fund all social programs including Equalization.
      Totally Voluntary and not in the Fake Constitution.
