  1. So yoy are saying we were more successful in flattening the curve? Afyer all, the x axis is time. A lot less deaths per capita.

The other factor is nuclear fusion. Heat and UV from the sun has an edfect on Covids r0 number.

In other news, we are less than 2 weeks away from Canada having a lower CFR than the USA.

    1. Allan, fear mongers like you are indirectly responsible for the suicides of two people I directly know, one in Regina and the other in Toronto. You’re an absolute monster; doubly so because you take NO RESPONSIBILITY for the lives you’ve helped to end, let alone ruin.

    2. Allan S, Canada has one of the worst responses to this fiasco in the entire world and that’s verifiable.

But I won’t expound on that now. I will simply point out that you, like other smug, useless Canadians, need to bring the US down because you have no accomplishments or reasons to be proud of one’s self.

Do you go to job interviews like that? Do you simply call the other applicants losers while ignoring your shortcomings?

People with low self-esteem and a penchant for meanness do that.

      In short, Canadians do that.

What a feckless country it is.

    3. The damn whu who flu has addled more brains than It is possible to imagine, yours included Allan.

  2. Just got back from the US and, while I presented a negative COVID test, I am in day 3 three of my 14 day forced quarantine. In Central Wisconsin, where I was, only those afraid of being ID’d as a Republican are wearing face diapers.

    1. I’m on day 11 of the Trudeau farce. 6 negative tests in the last 20 days mean absolutely nothing. Interesting though that the phone line for the daily symptom reporting is a USA number and the “ahem..nice lady” that called me on day 10 to tell me the rules or else, pronounced “Z” the American way. She was bilingual though.

Paid 1300 bucks for 3 nights at the YYC Marriott.. was there for 18 hrs. I had been in Indy for a meeting. 30 people in a board room… not a mask in sight. Could care less if they were jabbed or not. I had the “flu” previously and they can stick their jabs where the sun don’t shine. I’m over this farce. Three of the four nurses I was in contact with over the past 3 weeks for testing refuse to get jabbed as well.

  3. 135,000 at the Indy 500. Even in the blue states all the hockey and basketball arenas are full or at least have lots of fans. Canadian politicians are the worst.

    1. Yes, but weren’t they all jabbed? There were clinics in the lead up to the Indy so they could reach 135,000. No jab. No Indy. No thanks. I don’t like the direction this is taking. Incentives to get the shot. It’s obviously neither a pandemic nor a public health issue.

  4. To be fair, you are allowed to sit in painted circles at Toronto parks.

    1. And 550 double-jabbed health workers were allowed to attend the Leafs game tonight. In an arena with a capacity of 18,000.

      1. And they ALL wore their masks. All fully vaccinated and they were all likely told to wear their masks. Its all theater. Prove me wrong.

  5. The costco lineup today had lotsa suntans and grey-white hair. Masks not optional.
Its great to be outside in the sunshine and 20+C

  6. The US was much better prepared than Canada, they got into the vaccine orders in as soon as possible Thanks to President Trump. In the meantime Trudeau was shipping 16 tons of PPE to China thinking he would convince them that he was their pal . When he asked them for some of their home grown vaccine they told him to piss up a rope they needed the vaccines more that he did.

      1. Because the hospitals were financially incentivised to list most patients as Wuhan flu, and the PCR tests counted every corona virus (formerly known as seasonal flu). So every elderly patient with underlining disease who died have been recorded as Wuhan flu victims.
The USA is far ahead of canaduh in many ways but their health system is far too money-motivated.

      2. Uh, more people?

        Smugify some more.

When you are still locked in after the government bans fresh air, this will look good on you.

And when Bill C-10 passes, you won’t be able to smugify online because of the firewall.

  7. 99.8% recovery rate people really are stupid. Get up, get out, get over it. The world is not coming to an end.

    1. If COVID is no big deal, then explain why MB’s ICUs are presently at capacity and they’re flying COVID patients to Ontario to treatment? Oh right, because a highly transmissible novel infectious disease with 99.8% recovery still means waves of seriously ill people who require hospital treatment to survive and recover.

      1. If Covid is such a big deal, how can Ontario effortlessly accommodate intensive care patients from Manitoba? No one in Ontario dares to golf, lest the health care system collapse – the same system that’s cheerfully hoovering up patients from across the country.

Still, it’s a good question. Manitoba had an entirely normal year, from a public health point of view, and yet the health care system apparently approached collapse. If Covid were real, how could there be anything left of the health care system? A real plague would have steamrollered Manitoba.

  8. It is too early to crow about the large crowds, let’s wait and see what things are like 3 weeks after the events. If no big uptick in new COVID cases, then commence crowing like roosters.
