  1. Thank goodness it was the same song recorded by Sinead O’Connor. For a moment, I thought it was going to be a hymn of praise by Prince for a certain Prinz….

Then again, I always thought that Prince was weird, but not that off-kilter.

      1. I knew he was the composer. My comments were, of course, tongue in cheek.

        1. Once a mediot asked Eric Clapton: “How does it feel to be the world’s greatest guitar player?”
“I don’t know, ask Prince” replied Clapton.

      1. George Harrison’s son is on stage too. Looks just like his dad.
I read an article about Prince a while back. (some his words) His costumes were part of his persona on stage. He wore platforms because he was short and wanted to look a bit taller on stage. This led to back problems later in life and was partly to blame for his dependence on painkillers.
His first love was basketball and he did play on his high school basketball teams.
Look at some of his sideways glances to his fellow musicians. He did love life.

        1. That stage was full of amazing talent… and then Prince stole the show, effortlessly.

  2. We’re being asked to turn in our neighbors. I’m horrified.

    1. After what’s happened during the past year or so, nothing about people surprises me any more.

    2. Not sure if I read it here or not, but I do think this quote fits in with what is going on today.
“Remember Ann Frank was breaking the law. The person who turned her in was a law abiding citizen.”

    3. For sure.”You can identify them’?
“Oh yes they look just like Jason,Justine and Dr Tam”.
Or yes officer,”they were wearing a nice lavender facecloth.”.
“But I recognized you..dear snitch and informant”.

The irony is yet to come.
For facial recognition denial packages (AKA masks) are a necessary tool when fighting government gone mad.
And these petty tools of the tyrants are forcing people to cover their faces..
Watch, for very soon it will become illegal to wear a mask while protesting the “Medical Emergency” but required if practicing street theatre like Burn Loot Murder or celebrating the love of The desert Pedophile.
And only your loving central scrutinizer will know your intent.
For you will not be asked, you will be told.

There is no power,no rule ,no authority that small and stupid people will not abuse.
Yes we can elect a Goat ,Sheriff.
But it will still be a goat.
And we have allowed fools and Bandits to assume power over us.
Means we are getting what we asked for, good and hard.
      Because this is their nature.

      Governing is hard.
Most the time,it is by the forms, boring as hell.
Performing for an ungrateful and cynical audience.
Then when the show goes right off the rails, requires quick thinking ,intelligence and an understanding of What the show is all about.
      Seen any of that?
The people who worship power,do not know its source.
Hence the endless assaults upon the citizens by the helpers.
For ticks only know, they must have blood.
The draining of their host is beyond their level of existence.

    4. Welcome to the Saskatoon Gestapo and all those cheering them on. Just wait until they come for you. People just don’t learn from history.

  3. Alberta government is testing feedback on an ad campaign featuring sad, lonely kids to sell the idea that everyone needs to be good and take their “vaccine” shots. I don’t think they were expecting anger and accusations of being jailers.

    1. I write my UCP MLA weekly. I tell him that I am working actively against him come election time. I always tell him that UCP stands for Useless Conservative Party. That Kenney and his Hen should be locked up for Crimes Against Humanity. And there is no Statute of Limitations on Crimes Against Humanity.
I always send him information on Alberta Independence. And tell him to get Alberta out of Canada.

    1. A proper response to that would be along the lines of something I read in a Vancouver Sun column many years ago.

The columnist related a story about an employer being approached by someone conducting a survey, presumably from the government. One of the questions that was asked was how many people worked there, broken down by sex. (Yeah, it was so long ago that using that term was still considered acceptable and accurate before the language police took over.) The employer, with tongue in cheek, replied he didn’t know how many were broken down by sex, but he was sure that some of his workers had drinking problems.

  4. Now this is a gr8 idea!
    Pay old farmers to retire.
And one of the reasons (prob the only one) the UK govt wants to do it is because us old grouches don’t believe all the bullspit on global warming and won’t modernize our farming methods to fight the non existent crisis of AGW.

    https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-57149744

Actually i rented my land out a few yrs ago and it is now being farmed by the vastly superior modern methods.
And I get to play servant to my 9 month old puppy that is now about 100 lbs plus.
    What’s not to like?
    heh

  5. One thing no one is talking about it that these Provincial lockdowns are illegal by labor laws.
In Ontario, there is no such thing as a layoff.
Either your working for an employer or not.
There is no grey area of what the Provincial politicians invoke.
The Ontario labor code covers everyone and does NOT discriminate ‘special deals’ such as farmers laborers.
Just haven’t been reported to the police that they are illegally hiring workers…

  6. Blacklock reports that Blackie’s government gave little oversight to the federal lab in Winnipeg. Employees from China were given high security clearance.

  7. Today Great Leader will be making another apology. He will virtually be speaking about how racist Canadians turned away a boat load of immigrants from India, resulting in the Maru incident in 1914.

  8. https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/israels-security-cabinet-approves-truce-gaza-take-effect-overnight Hamas accepted it immediately – from which I can deduce that Israel was seriously kicking Hamas’s @$$, as the rumours had it.

One funny that emerged. Hamas has been diggin’ in the dirt for quite awhile now, making bunkers for its higher-ups to hide in (and naturally, walling them with the concrete that international humanitarian agencies donated to be used in “rebuilding Palestine”). Israel’s Minister of Defense made a tongue-slip – which he refused to deny or clarify – suggesting that IDF ground forces were operating in the Gaza Strip. This resulted in fears of an Israeli invasion, and the Hamas bigwigs scuttled underground to hide from the IDF. But (likely with ground-penetrating radar, in which Israel is a world leader) Israel had mapped all the bunkers – and once they suspected Hamas leaders were all underground, they treated all the bunkers to bunker-buster bombs. Nice and neat, the explosions were all underground, and all the casualties would be underground as well – and pretty sure that any women and children killed would all be Hamas too.

    1. I read years ago that the average IQ level in Israel is 115-120. The average IQ level in Canada is 100 (just enough to “graduate” high school). The average IQ level in Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Syria and the Arab Peninsula is 80. I once worked with a woman with an IQ of 80. She could write her name, she could not read, she could not pass a drivers test and she was easily led by others with bad ideas. I did admire her because she worked as a house cleaner, could cook and bake and she and her husband owned a house and had 2 boarders to help pay the mortgage and utility bills. She did the best she could with her mental level. She was NOT on welfare.
However, you are very limited with a lower IQ. And the Muslim propensity to marry cousins or uncles to marry nieces does not help the situation.

  9. Just breaking on BNN-Bloomberg news: Kansas City Southern has just notified CP Rail (head office in Calgary) that their takeover bid is now terminated. Observers are saying that CN Rail (based in Montreal) is now favored to take over KCS. Note that the Quebec government lobbied strongly for CN Rail’s bid.

    1. When CN was privatized by the federal government in 1995, the enabling legislation included a requirement that CN must retain its HQ in Montreal. No wonder Quebec lobbied strongly for CN’s bid.

By contrast, CP Rail announced it was moving its head office from Montreal to Calgary in 1995, shortly after CN was privatized. CP left Quebec because most of its business was in western Canada and because of the anti-business, anti-English climate in Quebec.

      1. If Quebec was meddling you can bet the Feds are involved in trying to sway the takeover.Only one way out of this basic dictatorship we call Canada,Leave as nothing will ever change

  10. Our Dear Leader (praise be his name!) has set another record:

“Sajjan will soon be gone, the latest resignation in a government that has lost more senior personnel than any other in the history of Westminster parliaments: a governor general, finance minister, attorney general, health minister, clerk of the privy council, principal secretary to the prime minister, two chiefs of the defence staff — one just outgoing and the other just incoming — and now the pandemic vaccine logistics chief.”

  11. James May’s Tesla Model S has failed!

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsKwMryKqRE

Captain Slow shares what I believe to be a very stupid design flaw with the Model S. Turns out that beside Tesla’s main battery, it also utilizes a standard 12V battery…. rather ridiculously located…. and more prone to draining when parked than in an ICE vehicle. If he is correct, a simple flat 12V battery for the average Tesla owner would require a tow to a garage and much labor by a licensed mechanic just to recharge it.

      1. Well, c’mon, B A D R – you gotta’ admit historical fact in this matter. China colonized all the planets in our solar system (and several in other systems) over a thousand years ago, so these really are ancient Chinese territory.

        Just ask them… /sarc

  12. Blackie’s CBC is reporting that the ceasefire is not only a victory for Hamas, but for all muslims.

  13. Lying Media again!

“Jones’ ongoing hysterics resulted in criminal charges against her for vandalizing Sweeterman’s car, robbery and stalking. She was fired by the university, jailed at least three times and committed to a mental institution.

This is the “scientist” who was lionized by, among others, CNN, MSNBC, NPR, The Guardian and Cosmopolitan.

The smearing of DeSantis would be outrageous even if Jones were a rational human with an impeccable past, but she is not. DeSantis steered Florida through the pandemic with 30% fewer COVID deaths than New York, despite having a larger population and a lot more old people.

But journalists couldn’t be bothered to bring up Cuomo’s killing old people and cooking the books because they were too busy talking about his lats. Instead, our watchdog media attacked the governor with the best record on COVID, who was being stalked by a crazy woman.”

  14. Rex Murphy at the National Post, explains how Blackie is taking a knee for Quebec.

      1. Butt-kissing and fellating la belle province are much easier when one is kneeling, right?

  15. True North reports on muslims beheading four Christians in Indonesia. You know, the country that Blackie gives millions to every year.

    1. Bravo Dana.

Drive by any Construction site and the workers are not wearing a face covering while working outdoors. When they have to go closer to one another ( i.e., less than 6 feet) to speak to each other and be heard they put on face protection or when they go inside the site office, ditto. This is crazy. We’re living with tyrants, they’re everywhere.

There's no difference between these two occupations in the respect that both are outdoors.

Poor Mr Ed– he wants Dana and the bosses won't let!

      1. Drive by any Construction site and the workers are not wearing a face covering while working outdoors.

Yup. I noticed that during my recent trips to Fort St. John.

One day, I brought some scrap metal to a local recycler. The office required masks, but when I brought the stuff out into the yard to dump, the machine operator was barefaced.

Similarly, during my last trip, when I brought some pruned tree branches to the local landfill, the employees I encountered in the dumping areas were maskless. The person at the check-in booth, however, had one dangling from her ear but she was behind a sheet of plexiglass. One problem with that was that it was hard to hear what she was saying.

To paraphrase a comment by Sheila Gunn Reid, decisions like that are made by government cubicle dwellers who never step outside their offices.

          1. The “stuff it” attitude isn’t completely ubiquitous. One still has to wear a face diaper in the grocery store or the local grog shop. But that’s Fort St. John.

Earlier today, when I was walking over the rental office to take care of some personal business, someone came in my direction. He was masked and he deliberately stepped off the sidewalk in order to keep is “social distance”.

Instances like that make me want to give up on mankind altogether, writing it off as incurably stupid. Fortunately, there are some havens of sanity and rationality left, such as SDA.

  16. OMG:

Women color commentators on NHL hockey are the epitome of affirmative action!
They suck so much, the embarrassing put little girls in the hockey hall of fame almost looks sensible.
    Just kidding.
Just another pathetic chapter in faux canada.
