71 Replies to “(Nova Scotians Attempting To Flee The Province May Be Shot In The Back)”

  1. The Tory premiere of New Brunswick has been doing this for over a year. They are all the same.

  2. Hmmm. So you’re saying a province can determine what reasons for entering said province are essential. Good to know, I can see where that may come in handy.

If someone enters a province to send tax money to another province, is that essential? If someone enters a province to enforce a federal law, is that essential? Just asking.

    1. What about the infallible Turdhole Charter that states that freedom of movement is a “guaranteed right and freedom” ?
Oh yeah, I almost forgot, the Turdhole Charter isn’t about protecting Canadians from the fascist State its about protecting the fascist State from Canadians.

      1. When has the Fascist Canadian State ever needed protection from Canadians? Would that that were indeed so …

  3. The sheep down here don’t care. I knew this place was leftist but the vigor with which most of the people here cheer these restrictions on has disillusioned me all the same. I’m too established here now to pack up and leave. Don’t think I haven’t thought of it though.

    1. “I’m too established here now to pack up and leave.”

This is the thing you have to realize; they only have as much power over you, as you voluntarily hand over to them.

      “I cannot live without YouTube.”
“I cannot live without Amazon shopping.”
“My business cannot survive without Twitter.”
“I cannot shop anywhere what Walmart/Costco.”
“I have to stay, because I cannot sell my house for the price the people who guaranteed Hillary would be president have assured me I can get.”

So, you can choose to live on your knees in Masktopia/Lockdowntopia/TooManyNewCasesTopia/MutantStrainTopia; or you can choose something else. You either have agency. Or, you do not.

      1. I can offer a different twist on the matter.

I recently spoke with a contractor who did some work on the house I inherited. He’s looking at retiring and he has a shop full of tools and machinery. By what he told me, nobody’s interested in taking over the facility as it is and he was advised to sell off his tools and equipment separate from the building.

If he follows that suggestion, he could have as hard a time in selling off his stuff as I did with my father’s machine tools.

Abandoning one’s holdings in place and walking away could result in a major financial penalty as well as wasting a lot of good hardware.

      2. I understand all that. I have a wife, two young children, a house that is 3/4 paid for, immediate family in the area, and a solid job that I could take all the way to retirement if I so choose. If it were just me, I’d be looking pretty hard at bailing and finding my way to the States. But it isn’t just me and I have to weigh all of what I do have here against the potential of what I would have, or could lose, if I were to attempt to persuade my wife to leave our lives here and go elsewhere.

It may be that the best I can do now is attempt to inoculate my children against the statist disease that is Canada, and counsel them to start their lives in places that more highly value freedom. If that were to come to pass I would consider that mission accomplished.

        1. You have identified your most important task: to equip your children to be resilient and resistant. The best thing that you can do, if your family can manage it, is to homeschool your children. I can tell you what they will get in whatever public school is near you will bear little relation to authentic education. Every morning of their school lives, they will hear the “land declaration” to remind them that they are no more than unwelcome guests in their own country. They will be told that they are beneficiaries of invisible “privilege” for which they should be ashamed. They will hear less and less of the history of western civilization and be taught one historical falsehood after another. You might find a good independent school, but most of them have succumbed to upper middle class leftism as well.

If you feel that you have no choice about sending them to public school. Monitor every assignment they’re given, every book they are required or encouraged to read, and every loopy idea they bring home. But, as an educator myself, my advice is that, wherever possible, when the yellow school bus comes up your street, just wave it on.

          1. I have read the stories of Russians who simply decided they had to leave. Vietnamese boat people. Cubans doing whatever they can to get out.

Look up Sławomir Rawicz or Witold Gliński. There is a book called ‘The Long Walk’.

If/when it gets bad enough, you just start walking, you just start swimming to Florida, you just start running for the Berlin wall and start climbing.

It is not that bad yet, but it is the only place we could possibly be headed.

          2. “If/when it gets bad enough, you just start walking”

            Where to?

My family has Polish passports, we can always go back. But that does not apply to most civilized people still left in the gulag of Bananada. Plus I don’t want to leave it to savages anyway.

        1. I will take the Bible and the Ten Commandments before I take the Canadian government.

  4. Atlantic Canada is a nanny state shithole, with brainwashed lemmings heading over the cliff.

    1. The Liberals made the Atlantic “provinces” welfare states and the citizens of that area turn around and reward the LIberals for destroying their fishery and destroying any chance of a self supporting future. They must like being the welfare bums of the corrupt State. We certainly know that Atlantic Canadians couldn’t care less about the damage the Liberal/CCP Party does to the west or to themselves, they are masochistic simps without integrity and like 90% of other Canadians they are lazy cowards.

  5. Looked at the replies on Bousquet’s Twitter – A lot of people going on about how it’s a violation of Canada’s Charter of Rights.
    Poor things.

    1. Yep. What people have to accept, is that the purpose of Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms, what it was designed to do; protect government from the citizens.

The stupidity of Canada can be measured, simply by observing how many believe the Charter is a good thing.

      1. Indeed. Many years ago, in the nineties, I had an Iranian professor who was totally sceptical about the Charter while all my fellow students were cheering for it because they thought it’s title meant what it said. The professor grew up in Iran and so was a little wiser.

Interestingly, I asked him what was one of the biggest differences between Canadian life and Iranian life, and he said violence. But not the kind of state violence that I immediately thought of, he said violence from mothers whacking their kids to keep them in line, which is very common there in his experience.

    2. I said the charter was crap from day one. A document of lawyers, by lawyers, for lawyers and a constitution not worth the paper it was written on. Jesus I hate being right.

      1. The late Senator Eugene Forsey was very vocal in his disapproval of the Charter. Unfortunately, not enough people listened to him.

  6. We live in a police state and the glorious charter has done nothing to protect our rights. The courts think they can get away with this politicizing this and then go back at some point. They are likely to be surprised as to how that works out.

  7. They never build walls to keep barbarians out—much less plagues.

They build walls to keep their slaves in.

    1. That was the purpose of “die Mauer”. Just how much it was hated was seen right after it was opened in 1989. People quickly took to demolishing it with whatever they could find.

      1. My point exactly.

Of course, it only came down because the globalists decided that if central planning wouldn’t pay in east Germany, it couldn’t be made to pay in any country inhabited by Europeans, and decided to throw their pals in East Berlin under the bus.

Near term, they had better uses for the cheap labour.

Longer term, that was when they decided to give fascism another try in China, which had never pretended to be Christian.

    1. Such a moment would never happen in Canada. The masses love Prinz Dummkopf far too much.

    2. The ‘Heads’ here never speak from a balcony, they are T.V. people for a reason.

      1. Ha Ha Ha Ha that is awesome NR. LMFAO
You are not a Troll you are very Droll tho.
And I am not a poet and I know it.

      2. Trudeau Sr. found that out the hard way, one night in Montreal. That’s what I like about “lefties”, they’re busy stomping on each other like the Bolshies, Trotskyites and Mensheviks. More “lobsters in the pot”. That statement wasn’t for Anglos, by the way.

  8. Seriously, it’s past time for you guys to just escape. Grab a coffee table or your front door and float across the lake on it. People down south have plenty of toilet paper and canoes to keep y’all going for ages. And slightly less Nazism.

    1. Yes, but we’re not like the illegals coming from the south. We’ll get deported right back to Kanuckistan.

      1. MikeT, Perhaps we could claim political asylum! As in, we need to get out of this political asylum turdo has created!

      2. I forget the story but about a year ago a couple drove across the border from BC to the US. They spent months in jail. They could have sent them back across the border or let them stay but they had committed the sin of being white.

  9. Perhaps Trudeau and his Nazi Lieut. Premier’s of the Canadian Covid Gulag’s could mandate some sort of Armbands for those who are not Vaccinated. Could be handy for the Gesterrr I mean Police in sorting out who is allowed where.

      1. No MT we need nice Nazi armband’s like the Jewish people in Nazi Germany wore. We are getting close.
Why not go all the way Mr. Trudeau Grand Mufti of the Canadian Gulags.

        1. We could sew a patch onto these armbands. Say, for instance, a yellow star.
          “Papers, please.”

  10. Well … Gavin Newsom is promising to TAX the WEALTH of any Californian who dares flee this State. Might as well be shooting CA expats in the back …

    1. Kenji, So, um, can you flee your wealth before you flee yourself? I truly hope your fleeing will be successful.

  11. You have to do the same thing to re-enter the country and woe be upon you if you don’t have all your i’s dotted and t’s crossed. The funny thing is that it doesn’t matter if your mandatory COVID test is negative or positive, you still have to quarantine for 14 days but if your test is not one of the approved ones or is missing information, you can be fined over 3K. We are living in Bizarro World. I’m waiting to see how the CBSA and the NHL handle the winner of the Northern Division.

    1. The NHL Northern Division Champ will just move to Buffalo for the rest of the playoffs. Just like the Blue Jays. And the Raptors. And Toronto FC. And CF Montreal. And Vancouver Whitecaps.
They are smart. Why fight with Trudeau’s minions? Just fly away from the madness.

The NHL players were near unanimous last fall. They said “NO” to Bettman when another “bubble” situation was contemplated. No way in hell were they gonna trap themselves in a hotel for three-to-twelve weeks.

      1. That’s what I figure too. For me to enter my own country, I’m told that, regardless of the results of the mandatory COVID test and even if I’ve had the virus or the vaccination, I have to quarantine for two weeks. Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t Eric Staal’s quarantine before he could join the Canadiens only one week? What gives there?

  12. So this is a sovereign state-like decision.
Kinda like applying for a visa to travel to some countries.
The rest of this dying country needs to remind them of this in the very near future.

    1. This is good news!! The precedent is set for WEXIT! If Provinces have the legal authority to behave as independent nations … well then … Sask. is FREEEEEEE!!!!!

      1. Good thinking Kenji, perfect legal reason to erect barricades along Alberta’s highways etc.
If it saves one cough etc

    1. Mr Galt, I think they steal it first, then plan the election accordingly! It was so messy what they did in your country, it’s much more refined up here, they make sure the election results will favor them, and all the bribes are paid, before they announce an election.

    2. Canadian governments can call elections WHENEVER THEY WISH at any time within their five-year terms.

  13. Fucking Canada eh. North Korea in North America, fuck, Canadians are beyond stupid. I cannot in any way remain civil with the stupid people in this country.

    1. I call it the Democratic People’s Republic of Kanuckistan (DPRK) for a reason.

  14. Kate, you can ban me forever but unless we take these bastards out they will kill us.

    1. Careful.
Or you’ll be brought before the HRCs for compelling atheists to pray.

    1. Obviously he meant “take them out for a meal so we can discuss matters in comfort and peace.”

    2. It was not a personal threat. There are Millions of Bastard’s in Canada. There are Millions of Bastards all over the world. I see bastard’s everywhere, everyday. Mostly when I turn on the news. BASTARD’S Everywhere especially on the MSM.

  15. Here in NS, neighbours are spying on neighbours, Karens are in full bloom, and paranoid people are walking around outside distanced with masks. Too many here love this, Nova Scotians don’t like failure, but what they reall hate is success. Government dependent shithole.

  16. The rules appear to be strict, but of course they’re forgetting that not very many people from the west are traveling to Nova Scotia and perhaps no people from the USA at the moment, which sets them up for a Newfoundland sized debt to deal with shortly …
Not that I actually care if N.S. falls off the edge of the planet…

and I don’t care how catastrophic is their failure after Alberta/Sask. separate from their welfare ridden shithole of Old Canada.

    and,
    Let it burn.

    1. I agree with those sentiments entirely, but lets face facts, Alberta and Saskachewan have more than enough reasons to leave and have for years but nothing comes of it. The west is just as gelded as the east, full of nothing but coward sheep, whose only response to and ‘official” is yes sir, right away sir.

  17. Between the Charter and the UN what ‘Rights’ are we allowed ? Lockdowns seem to apply only to some protests.

  18. Let’s sell everything and fly to Mexico. Walk across the border and Jobama will take care of you.
