  1. If you take your vaccine advice from Joe Rogan you’re probably not that bright to begin with. If you’re a healthy 21 year old you should probably take your advice from doctors, and they’re saying get the vaccine. Herd immunity matters, and 20-somethings can get and spread Covid. Yeah, I want my kids to get the vaccine, too. Should it be mandatory? No. Are you making a good decision not getting vaccinated? Also no.

    1. There are lots of doctors saying young healthy folk shouldn’t get vaccinated. There are doctors being intimidated by establishment media and employers for saying this, so I’m guessing that you’re also all about a coercion-induced “consensus” as well.

        2. No one is saying that vaccines don’t work. Previous discussions on the subject of childhood vaccines and other immunisations have demonstrated that the majority of posters here are beneficiaries of them and support their use.

          One cannot say the same of these hastily produced flu shots with numerous examples of dreadful side effects.

          No, people should not take their medical advice from some radio personality. However, the medical community has been terribly contradictory and prone to obfuscation to the point where their advice cannot be trusted, either.

      1. I am not with you on this. Covid infection will give your kids minor symptoms and first class immunity. The vaccines are not fully effective, not fully tested and do not provide herd immunity if you listen to Fauci. He says asymptomatic people can spread covid. Since all the vaccines do is reduce symptoms they would thus not prevent spread.
        Would you vaccinate your kids against the common cold?

      Real herd immunity will be achieved when the young and healthy get COVID and shake it off after a few days. The only young at risk are the obese, diabetic, and those with a known co-morbidity. Despite that well known medical knowledge, government and media treat the public like 5year olds and continue the new version of FEAR FACTOR.

      Rogan is correct, a healthy person under 40, has a 1 in 5,000 change of dying from COVID. Check out the mortality tables, there’s lots of other ways to die, with a better chance than COVID.

      And spreading the disease? If all those that are truly of poor health, and the irrationally paranoid have been dosed with their experimental gene mutation “therapy”, then there isn’t much to worry about, is there? By the way, the “therapy” doesn’t prevent COVID, nor does it prevent spread of it either, it just lessens the symptoms. Oh, and now, the “experts” slip in another new condition……..you might need a booster next year……and the year after…..

      Not a vaccine, not guaranteed, and Big Pharma is not liable either. You’ve bought the propaganda hook, line, sinker

    4. Herd immunity may be the goal, but there is no guarantee or even evidence that Covid vaccination gets us there. Personally, I don’t think tampering with the natural immune system is a good idea. The “vaccine” requires a great deal more testing before we can verify its long term safety.

      We were talking last night what government might do when the mutation dosed population stops at around 60-70%, and big gov isn’t happy. There’s not much they can do. Use incentives? The previously dosed would demand the same, non-starter. Use the stick method then? Difficult to enforce, and, likely unconstitutional to discriminate as well. Come July or August, it will be interesting to see how government reacts, but using draconian methods is clearly in their bag of tricks.

    One: more than half of all Americans have been vaccinated. And another quarter have developed natural immunity. The HIGH RISK population is already protected … so, who in society is being “saved”?
    Two: Who is being saved? The anti-vaxxers, the lazy, the young?
    Three: When do we STOP with the pandemic hysteria? When every last American is protected? Really? Never gonna happen. When we have “herd immunity”? But … variants! Oh my! Please tell me what the parameters are for “herd immunity”? What signals will arise that announce that glorious day?
    Four: How much more of this overreach can a society tolerate? When all but the government workers and High Tech remote workers are unemployed? Until every last citizen is utterly dependent on a “benevolent” Totalitarian State?

    Mr. Preeminent infectious disease expert (notice I didn’t say “Doctor”) is focused on his own navel … and has totally lost the plot. He seems to have a bad case of anti-Trump hangover … wherein he continues to doubt the efficacy of the vaccine he has been touting for the last year.     The number of “cases” – deaths = naturally immune citizens. By all the charts and graphs, and a year of breathless reporting of “cases” … that number is in the high tens of millions. Where is that number being reported?

    They have been wrong time and time again, their death and ICU scares nowhere near reality as they drop the ball on care homes.
    They shut down huge swaths of the economy, destroy intimacy, quarantine the healthy, presiding over not one but three waves.

  11. The vaccine is distilled water. By itself it won’t actually harm you. (The reported side effects are either psychosomatic or civil servants’ excuse to take a sickie.) It just won’t protect you against Wuhan flu.

I am currently in a bit of back-and-forth with the county who for some reason are wanting to deny me a permit to exhume the bodies of both my parents and all 6 of my grandparents in order to get them vaccinated. I guess those people just don’t care enough to take every precaution they can to halt the spread of this disease, but I say why take chances? It’s not like I’m saying all dead people should get vaccinated, just the dead going back two generations. You can’t be too careful, you know.

  13. A lot of folks are touching on this point but let me say it clearly for those in the comments who are still unclear: dr Fauci is not speaking as a doctor or scientist. Like the Canadian “experts” who got caught admitting they “just read what’s put in front of me at this point” he is shilling for the government. That’s what “experts” who somehow get chosen to represent the “science” do. That’s why they are chosen.
    Let me be crystal clear: you are not following the science, you are doing what their masters want you to do.

  15. When the vaccines started to roll out, I did some basic research about each type. Not just mainstream media articles, which are superficial, biased and often error-ridden, but medical sites and research papers. That’s why I’m giving the mRNA/DNA vaccines a pass. I’d recommend people do this and then make their decisions about risk tolerance and risk assessment.

    I also learned that the options aren’t just mRNA/DNA or nothing. Traditional vaccines will be released as well as covid treatments. And, of course, there’s the benefits of naturally acquired immunity. Patience may indeed turn out to be virtue in this case.

    I began looking at more traditional vaccines like those created by VIDO-InterVac in Saskatoon. They’ve recently partnered with Dalhousie. One of the Dalhousie researchers said this to nature . com:

    “Previous studies found that some animals that were infected with severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) after being vaccinated fared worse than those that had not been vaccinated.”

    That observation came up a few times in my research.

    As it is everybody can be right in individual cases, that should cover the whole teritorry.

  18. I will not subject my child or myself to become lab rats to a clinical trial. It is that simple.
    Concern overtop of that is who’s business is it what I am and am not vaccinated against? Since when is my medical information not private and confidential? When did my medical status restrict me from being part of society? If I was a person with potential risks I would stay home and isolate. David Vetter didn’t require the world to live in a bubble while he maintained freedom. Every single person I know who has an autoimmune issue or severe allergies protects themselves from the dangers around them. We have longterm care homes for the purpose of housing people with vulnerability from the outside world to live out their end of days. We have hospital wards clearly defined for people of certain health risks grouped together, ei. maternity isn’t mixed with infectious disease or mental health. My own parents isolate themselves in their home due to their declining health and high risks. There are numerous services created to provide food, clothing, necessities, along with luxuries to those who must isolate due to their own medical risks. For those who don’t know if they are high risk and are afraid they have those same options to stay home and have items delivered while avoiding the rest of humanity.
