“I am inevitable” – Earth Day means the whole earth, growing energy consumption and all

On Earth Day, how about if we listen to the most populous parts of the Earth. Voices from India and Africa the media won’t touch: “Blanket bans on fossil-fuel funds will entrench poverty”. Or “why should we be starved of the same energy sources you have enjoyed for two centuries—and still do?…You are asking poor Indian families to forgo oil and gas, but you don’t embrace the climate gospel you are preaching.” Read on…

  1. For Earth day I always suggest we cut the hearts out of eco-creeps and sacrifice them to the sun god.

    1. Maybe a less radical approach might be to discover a well-spoken, but poor, Indian or African, preferably a young woman, to be a spokesperson for energy for the third world; an anti-Greta so to speak. She could mock the energy-rich, first world, spoiled teenagers like Greta, with their private yachts and electric cars. Incredulous, she would bemoan the fact that it appears to her that Greta and her ilk, perhaps most of her generation, want to keep third world people of similar age on an energy-starvation diet. She could unmask this woke white supremacy for what it is. Then she could end her monologue with “Greta, you have no idea what a lost childhood is. How dare YOU!”…

      1. Our so-called “compassionate” media who are pushing and publicizing Greta … because they “care” about the planet …

… should start publicizing the dire plight and needs of the emerging 3rd world teenagers staring down a lifetime of hard physical labor because of Energy poverty. But then … the media isn’t really “compassionate” about anything but themselves … and how much meaningless virtue they can signal. They could give a shit about the TRULY poor and needy.

    1. Lance – Great article that all should check out, and from a university professor who isn’t Jordan Peterson. There is hope. Of course he’s a prof of economics so he’s not woke…

    2. Because I am not a Canadian, I decided to look up the University of Guelph … where Ross is employed, and I found this …

      We Acknowledge
The University of Guelph resides on the treaty lands and territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit. We recognize that today this gathering place is home to many First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples and acknowledging them reminds us of our collective responsibility to the land where we learn and work

How about we just “acknowledge” the One True Living God who gave ALL the land to ALL humanity? Ohhhhh … I see … that’s “unfashionable”. We have to pick a Tribe.

        1. Fair enough, my friend … so do I. But my Tribe doesn’t worship other people’s Tribes and bow before them as gods.

        2. This was originated by Turdeaus father Pierre the worst, he promoted the idea of ” multi-culturalism, told all different nationalities that their culture was unique, valuable and equal in Canadian society. The concept of the great melting pot that made the USA so welcoming to immigrants from all over the world was totally disregarded and even demonized for political purposes. The objective of these machinations was to ensure that Canada would become bilingual giving the french language and his home province of Quebec special and equal status that no other province enjoyed. This has resulted in a tail wagging the dog situation where unless Quebec agrees things are not going to happen. Ask any Albertan how he enjoys paying for Quebecs $10 daycare and other social programs that their own province can t afford due to equalization payments to Quebec. His diversification policies enabled future Federal Governments to do the same with indian tribes by giving them supposed first nations status. Now you can t build a pipe line or rail line without appeasing the demands of 20 or 30 tribes who are being influence monetarily by environmentalist groups both foriegn and domestic.

      1. Years ago, before up-titling became the norm, this ‘University’ was the Ontario Veterinary College. That institution remains part of the ‘University’ and its main contribution to Ontario. The ‘Acknowledgement’ clause is as endemic as ‘Mission Statements’ of yore. The only proper recognition is the city of Mississaugua.

  2. The earth is essentially deserted. You could put every individual, all 7 billion into a 500 sq ft apartment in a western Canadian province and still have room to grow food.
A more extreme example is putting everyone into Rhode Island. A concentrated camp but possible.
A person walked (for whatever reason I have no idea) from Tuk to the east coast along the north shore.
Rejection? Adventure? Who knows. Why bother, but to prove a point I guess.
He went like 50 days without seeing any living animal, He ate two of his dogs. Difficult choices.
Hard to find details, remember reading about it years ago.
Earth day is a joke on concrete dwellers in cities. They think the planet is paved courtesy of Greenpeace.

    Save the planet.

    1. I once read that everyone on the planet would fit in Texas with more than enough elbow room.
We urban dwellers rely on many people to keep our towns and cities functioning. Sewer, water, electricity are the big three. Then throw in roads, garbage pick up, supermarkets and drug stores, recreation facilities, hospitals, dental offices, the list is huge. We are not self sufficient no matter what we say. Our modern society, even those who live in rural areas, require a supporting infrastructure. The fantasy of being completely self sufficient these days is just that, a fantasy.

      1. Case in point … all those rural areas without high speed internet access. Oh! Nevermind. Jao Xiden just spent $T’s to ensure everyone in rural America (read: Indian Reservations) gets high speed Internet.

Note to Jao … Elon Musk already has dozens of satellites launched to do just that. Why are the taxpayers getting saddled with this infrastructure cost?

  3. One day devoted to environmentalism started by a psychopath who murdered his girlfriend and stuffed her in a suitcase.

    1. Thanks for reminding me of that creepy, Creepster’s story.

I still remember our local Junior High School pulling all of our students out of class to MARCH through the downtown of our little town to show support for the FIRST Earth Day. At the time, 1970, I didn’t really care all that much … except it was time out of school … and the girls were all in their spring dresses and short shorts. If those girls wanted me to carrrrrrre about the environment before I’d get a rub and tickle … then call me Nanook of the Environment!

  4. Every pile of manure is an ‘Earth Day’ experience. You can smell the future roses.

  5. Earth Day Eh?
Keep digging comrades, this pit ain’t going to dig itself.
Decomposing things all become soil, gone to the worms indeed.
Now in the Campaign to save the Trees,I propose all of Gang Green bury themselves, for any surface dwellings are denying vegetation its proper place and every mol of CO2 is precious..And interned in a deep hole, they be “Closer to mother earth..Especially after a few passes with a D8.

That terrible poison CO2 soon to be turned into sacred mana by our friend photosynthesis.Oh the tragedy.

Mobs and Government Committees are hell on sanity, producing waste and destruction where no individual human could have conceived it.
Lenin was a most successful disease,of the mass murder Gang Green type, hence it is most fitting this cult uses his birthday as the Date to honour their intentions.

We need to accept the word and stated intent of these bloated parasites, they want us dead and gone..
    I believe them.
Fortress North America works for me.
The enemy within has proudly self identified and stated their intentions, by actions..
Let us cast them out of this civil society they demand be destroyed.
    Banishment works.
Every one gets what they say they want.
We get to carry on our lives without the compulsory “HELP” of the clueless and useless, parasitic overload.
They get that Carbon Free,Fossil Fuel Free ,Utopia they keep demanding we accept.
How long are you willing to humour destructive fools who become ever more violent and pushy every year?
    They want it,they demand it.
OK then, they need to have it.

Of course most of Gang Green and the Virtue Signalling Morons have no technological skill nor comprehension of how things work, but still they demand!
    The entertainment potential is endless.
Right now we need more camera drones as we use false rumours to incite the mob.
Ring fencing the Demon Enclaves will be even richer amusement.
    Auto-cannons and minefields too.
Then the Reservations for the Enviro Naxis, where they can live as they demand of us,perhaps some hardhearted and deviant Hutterites could be hired to provide guidance for these Camps of delusion?
The “return to nature show, potential is enormous..”Hug a Polar Bear TV” ,Where fully paid up contestants get to interact with ,garbage fed Churchill Bears as the pay to view watchers place bets on when each will “Become One with Nature”.
Then the Safety dance possibilities just boggle my mind, death by work site shows?

For we have run the experiment.
Protecting the useless and clueless, does not work.
Surprisingly(To no one) we get a whole bunch more cluelessness and stupidity when we protect fools and bandits from the consequences of their actions.
Gang Green,The Dread Covid Witch Hunters,Government Help, these are the consequences of a cradle to grave welfare system..
Can Ahh Duh is done, killed by “Good Intentions and Feelings”.
