Like San Francisco in California, Texas Has Its Own S-Hole and its name is Austin

Drive through much of Texas and you’ll find well kept communities with friendly, hard-working people.  But arriving in Austin, you’ll find something very different:

As is typical of most every Leftist government the world over, they refuse to admit their policies have absolutely failed, that they are not competent enough to run a simple lemonade stand, and that new people must replace them.

Thankfully the people of Austin appear to be rising up and have forced an important referendum to be held on May 1st.

  1. I visited Austin in 1985 and enjoyed the theme park 5 flags and Bluejays game there.
    Sure has changed…

  2. I lived in Austin in the 70s and 80s. It’s always been leftwing. The huge increase in population hasn’t changed that.

And there have always been homeless people hanging around the university. We called them ‘dragrats’.

    1. They were called dragworms when I lived there in the late 80s and 90s. That place turned to shit in 91 when they changed the South by Southwest music conferences into a Hollywood circle jerk. Literally the next year there was nowhere to park and beers were 9 dollars…

  3. Note the buzz words at the end “real solutions”. Homelessness is caused by capitalism and so real solutions involve eliminating the deleterious effects of capitalism. Prop B’s success will mean more leftism not less.

  4. I like Texas in theory but not to live there. The best town in Texas is Amarillo. The worst are El Paso. Dallas, Austin, San Antonio and Houston as they are all Left Wing. I was stationed in San Angelo in the 1960’s in WWII Era barracks. No air conditioning and no heating but scorpions everywhere. Anyway, God bless Texas.
Funny how the California companies announce they are all moving to Austin and not Fort Worth, Amarillo or Sherman and at the same time the TexMex border counties are getting more Republican. Think on that for a moment.

  5. Spent a week or so with my wife’s relatives in Austin a few years ago. We drove around the city and even then underpasses had hundreds of people in tents under them. Lovely parts of the city, so sad to see the democrats ruining it.

  6. Its not that the policies are a failure. Sweden, Norway and Denmark all do similarly stupid things and do not turn out like this. Austin isn’t filled with Danes.

    1. George, the Nordic country’s are quite different from shit-hole Austin, NO they de not do similarly stupid things!

“they do not do similarly stupid things!”

“The Riksdag [parliament] has clearly stated that NO polygamy should
be recognised in Sweden. Nevertheless, the government now has a
        bill recognising polygamy
        in some cases.”

oh yeah… sweden recently had a spectacularly unsuccessful
‘grenade amnesty’. some folks apparently like their frags.

    2. They are busy importing the followers of islam, I will suggest a change is coming.

    1. Welcome to CA … where the wealthy FLEE to insular suburban communities … and then TALK about all the leftist policies they LOVE … so long as they are outside their fences. Outside their towns.

  7. Funny watching you brainiacs trying to “debate”. It is never complicated, it is always very simple. Who benefits, who profits. Homelessness clearly benefits governments. So, they create it, create more of it, everywhere they can, every chance they get. It benefits media outfits, because they can sell a few stories everyday about the “homeless pandemic”.

Homelessness is also a subtle attack on private property. Which is another reason they love it so much. Your private property of course. There will never be a “safe injection” site in their gated mansion communities. They never have to worry about petty theft, shoplifting, none of that. Because their private armies stand watch at the gates of their walled communities.

  8. While the EPA expanded its jurisdiction with provisions to fine and imprison farmers over mud puddles in their yards, their soul sisters in democrat-run cities expanded theirs to allow people to shit on the sidewalks and in the streets.

  9. Just wondering aloud here … IF CA is exporting so many of our brain-diseased population to TX (and elsewhere) … is there any chance CA will start to heal from our leftist malaise? This Fall’s RECALL election will reveal much.
