How long before that idiotic thinking reaches our shores? Before long, you will not be allowed to own a file unless it’s registered, and milling machines and lathes will be registered as well. Until they begin accepting the problem is the purp not the instrument used, there will not be any sensible resolutions to this madness. Come to think of it, that is probably why they blame the tool, it keeps the peasants on edge, and they keep the power, while pretending to do something! If they actually fixed things, they wouldn’t be needed as much, so they ain’t gonna do much fixin of stuff.

        He’s reacting like he took a couple to centre-of-mass and/or lower abdomen (he’s on the ground in agony).

      Having got that off my chest, and my sympathy for the perp being less than zero; based on the video here I would have some trouble with doing a “Use of lethal force” review that cleanly justified his being shot at to the ground when he was; if that is what happened. Again, without knowing, for a bunch of reasons it does not look like he was struck by even one 5.56mm round. In circumstances the risk of unintended collateral damage to innocent bystanders would have made that very much a last resort shot. But I wasn’t there. I only wish that recent history gave me more confidence that we might quickly know what happened and why.

    1. The Iranians do not go in for honor killings. Never have. Remember they are under the foot of islam; the Iranians have a long history of civilization. I would like to see them reclaim that.

  7. When I encountered this story earlier, my first reaction was to wonder the ethnicity of the perp. Damn, something I wouldn’t normally have ever been concerned about, except to identify a jihadist attack, so a tribute to the effectiveness of the leftist media’s cultural manipulation and brainwashing on that one.

    Truly sad that pundit’s from a huge swath of the partisan landscape wait with baited breath to find out if the details of this attack will either hurt or help their ‘team’. I wish Fransisco had held off posting this until facts are known because at this point speculation is all that any of us can do, which is pretty counter-productive.

    The long list of leftards announcing that the Boulder shooter was a white man is virtually endless. I hope we do not act like rightards on this one.

If I am correct this will shortly be followed by statements from the family about he has mental health problems. We shall see. I’ve been wrong before.

    1. I suspect you’re right as he was “known to police” and had a criminal record. They know all about this guy. But it will be down played. And there will probably be the usual publication bans….

  13. In an open,honest,competent and most especially a confident society we would see names and a picture of the perpetrator and a picture of each of his victims in every news media.
    But we no longer live in such a society.
    We now live in a society that has to hide this kind of information from the public.
    Now its- ‘someone did something to some people’.

      You ain’t seen nothin yet. In Europe it’s normal for police and prosecutors to never release the names of arrested perpetrators. The media is fine with this. For example, in July 2020 a French bus driver, Philippe Monguillot, was dragged from his bus, kicked in the head and beaten to death by four men. Two “youths” were charged with his murder but their names have never been published. All that’s ever been written about them is their ages, 22 and 23, and that they were “known to police”. By now journalists know exactly who they are. Not a single media outlet in France has broken silence on their identities.

      I tried to research this to see if it’s illegal to publish the names or if the media are all just in agreement on this, like they are on certain issues here, but found no answer. AP even ended their article by focusing on the fact that that the driver had asked the “youths” to wear masks. In the end they made this about how hard hit France was by the coronavirus rather than the mindless brutality of these young guys.

      How long before our journalists emulate the Europeans? They seem to admire everything else about them.

    1. Burton, thanks for this. So the alleged perp is African-Canadian. Therefore the police, and the media, will do the following, in order:
      1. Wait an unusually long time before naming the perp, and mentioning his race;
      2. Upon step #1, mention that he is a lone wolf and has mental prroblems;
      3. Then stress that “white racism” marginalized the unfortunate perp;
      4. Censor any follow-up stories about the perp and his victims.

      Everything is about The Narrative.

  20. What impresses me is that in 2021 there is a cop not too chickenshit to shoot a man armed with a knife who has show the willingness to injure or kill people. He/she ended the BS right then and there. No more injured or dead people.

    Here’s an Alberta case where cops killed someone while arresting him. The dead guy had shot at people and injured one. Apparently the police were supposed to let him go so he could shoot at more people. For their good deed, the cops are charged with manslaughter. Pure horse crap.

    1. Here in Victoria an armed man rammed a police vehicle several times. He was chased around town and eventually they got him but I can’t believe they didn’t waste him. He was trying to kill police officers for sure.
