    3. I served that country, and since coming “home” twenty years ago have thought I did well to escape then. Now I see what I escaped to has been embracing everything that went wrong in U.K. and I begin to wonder and hope that they might be at the beginning of an awakening I shall be sorry to have missed. Things that can’t go on as they are, don’t.

      I often say “war is coming” because when I look at history I see war is always coming, and the more people in a country don’t believe that, the closer it can get and the more radical the course corrections needed to steer away from it again. Eventually we leave it too late and there’s no getting around it.

  8. People seem to be running for the wrong office these days. Fox should be going for Bojo’s job and O’Toole should be vying for the Spawn’s as the Liberal Party Leader. How many elections must the Cons lose before their brain trust realizes that Canadians don’t want two Liberal parties.

    1. Hate to say it, but they’re in a little speck of Ontario (Tronna), where if you click your heels, you’re in Ottywah. Osmosis isn’t one of their strong points and “talking to Kan-eh-jians’ is just a concept. Brampton is a foreign country to them. I’m surprised more haven’t left this Province the last 5 years. There were convoys of them leaving Calgary when the NEP hit in 1980. Probably couldn’t unload their BC properties to the BC locals at a profit and the Chinwags are notoriously cheap.

  9. In addition to all my regular contacts, I sent the links of the British protests and Lawrence Fox to Erin O’Toole, Justin Trudeau and Bonnie Henry, saying that once vaccinated, I will not wear a mask … anywhere.

    When I’m not with my wife, I wear a ‘plague mask’ (kind of like a Mad Max crow) purchased on Amazon for $20. Written on it is, “Bonnie says wear a mask”. Gets lots of strange looks, but hey, it’s a ‘mask’.

    2. I have a plague doctor mask I wear out as well. According to history, the beak would be stuffed with straw or flower petals to block the “miasma’ they thought caused the plague. About as scientific as what we’ve got going on today.

    2. Lol! I noticed that as well as said as much to my husband. The last time I was in London (2012), the hospitality/service sector was full of ESLs. No one could speak proper English!
