    1. Ya wanna bet that Prinz Dummkopf is using only those plastic cardboard drink box type masks?

    1. O’Toole is a duplicitous moron who moves further left each day. His election platform will no doubt include legislation that makes it illegal for super straight men to turn down sexual advances by trans womxn. Did the dairy farmers rig the nomination again?

      1. O’Foole reminds me of that well-known scumbag Mitt Romney. Both are outwardly right-wing, but, in reality, they wouldn’t hesitate getting chummy with the left for personal gain.

    2. I’m for sure not voting in the next election be and might campaign against the conservative candidate. I campaigned for Harper in each of his elections but O’Toole’s the last straw.

        1. I used to vote Rhino when it ran candidates in my riding until the federal government clamped down on joke parties.

          1. I’m supporting Maverick/Buffalo unless something drastic changes. A vote for a conservatives is a waste in the west.

          2. I’ll do likewise here: Wildrose provincially, Maverick federally.

The only reason I voted for the Rhinos was because none of the main parties spoke for me or represented my views. I simply didn’t matter to them. The Rhinos at least gave me the opportunity of doing my citizen’s duty of casting a ballot without spoiling it.

I never voted Liberal or for the Dippers and the Greens never even registered with me. I became disenchanted with the federal Conservatives under Mulroney and the provincial PCs when Don Getty was premier.

          3. Likewise here. I became disillusioned with our provincial leadership a long time ago. I did like Brad Wall. But we’ve strayed so far off the path we’re now dangerously close to becoming left of the Liberals.

It’s a good thing rum is still legal. It’s about the only thing that can dull the pain of looking at the future for our kids.

  1. Democrats not troubled by ILLEGALS buying guns, only by law abiding citizens!!!

[…]…The Democrat-led House on Thursday passed HR8, a gun control bill that will expand background checks, with a 227-203 vote.

Eight Republican lawmakers voted with the Democrats to pass the “Background Checks Act” that prohibits private firearms transfers without having a background check.

It will require a gun registry to work.

They also passed HR 1446 which allows tyrants to indefinitely hold back background checks.

At the same time, these same Democrats blocked legislation that would require ICE to be contacted when illegal aliens apply to buy a gun.

Steve Scalise announced on Twitter: House Democrats just REJECTED an amendment that would have required ICE to be notified if an illegal immigrant tries to buy a gun. But they’re fine taking away the gun rights of law-abiding American citizens…[…]

  2. You might find this short film quite interesting. It’s a National Film board presentation without any dialogue. It features the adventures of a boy in Montreal who lived just east of the Jacques Cartier Bridge in the 1950s. He ventures out to the St Lawrence River docks to watch the ships and the Longshoremen at work. The ‘dangerous’ wandering around that he does was quite normal for the times. Hope you enjoy the video.

Watch “Au bout de ma rue” (13:43)

    P.S.
Gotta find a new computer, this one’s going kaput. The comments were great yesterday about Montreal, just read them.
    Ciao, missing y’all already! ♡

    1. I saw this film in grade school along with Paddle To The Sea, The Rise and Fall of the Great Lakes, and that Buster Keaton on a railway pump-car across Canada film. That was back when multiplication tables were learned by wrote memorization.

You know, back when we had actual education in schools in the 70’s.

      1. Have been doing some math tutoring for a kid who has missed a lot of school because he keeps getting sent home for a perpetually runny nose and just quit going. It is amazing to see a 15 year old kid use a calculator to multiply 3 times 5 to solve a problem. The kid has enough insecurities so I didn’t need criticize him. The old illiterate bitches of my day with a grade 12 education and maybe 8 months of normal school did a hell of a lot better job than the degreed morons teaching our kids to be sexual deviants while not teaching them how to multiply and write.

    1. BAD – The causes of cancel, Dick gets to the root. The bonus this time, it all rhymes to boot.

  3. Blacklock reviews a book on the creation of Nunavit as a territory. Among the mindless things that happened, was the placement of a vehicle registration office for the territory in a small village on an island with no roads.

  4. Just an FYI: Andrew Branca is covering the Chauvin trial on Legal Insurrection.
    https://legalinsurrection.com/2021/03/chauvin-pre-trial-day-5-seventh-juror-seated/
In addition he is “LIVE Parlering” the trial in real-time on Parler, which you can find using his Parler handle: @LawofSelfDefense.
For a year, we have all heard the inculpatory evidence amplified by the Media, but the exculpatory evidence has been concealed or only presented piecemeal.

    1. Fukushima – I was trying to nail down the political slant of the Fairewinds org by reading their web site when I came upon this gem:

“A third type of reactor was developed by the Canadian Government, called the CANDU design…This design runs on natural uranium without enrichment and can be readily adapted to make plutonium used in atomic bombs. India and Pakistan used the CANDU design to create their atomic weapon arsenals.”

      https://www.fairewinds.org/what-is-nuclear-power

This lead me to “It has proved impossible to separate civilian nuclear power from its military applications,” said Ostling. “All of Canada’s current and past customers for nuclear reactors have at one time or another pursued nuclear weapons programs.” Where was the Sierra Club’s indignation when Prez Obama signed the Iranian nuclear deal? http://www.ccnr.org/india_press.html

I think we can make nuclear energy safe. We just need to keep it out of the hands of fanatical dictators. Oh wait.

  5. And now the Liberal Party’s loyal Globe and Mail. Brian Mulroney gives lessons on fighting global warming. More global warming stories. Doug Ford is Hitler for saying something negative to an Indian. No one in Blackie’s Canada is allowed to disagree with Indians. Biden is wonderful. Justin is wonderful. Canadians are racist bastards.

    1. So saying ” fire water ” to an Indian is racist ?
      Got it.
Have to go check my white privileged azz now.

  6. We’ve noted how various companies and institutions are becoming “woke”. We can now add Turner Classic Movies to that list.

Thursday night, the movie Gunga Din was “analyzed” and the film was nothing but a display of racism and white supremacy, according to the “analysts” (which included that lefty twit Ben Mankiewicz). How dare the movie company RKO select two talented white actors to play the two main Indian characters. How dare the movie show the British being triumphant. (Never mind that the film was based on the poem of the same name, written by Rudyard Kipling, who often criticized British policies in India.) On and on it went.

Gee, people, thanks for ruining a great movie for me.

I’m planning on moving once I’m done settling my father’s estate. I’m seriously thinking of dropping cable TV altogether when I do. I almost exclusively watch TCM nowadays and, if there’s a movie I particularly want to see, I can either get it out of my personal collection or I can order a DVD copy. The price of one of those disks is considerably less than the monthly fee I pay.

      1. Many years ago my Dad drove bus for the old Gray Coach Lines. He would start his route out of our small village and along the way he would pick up Elwy Yost every morning. They would shoot the shit into Toronto, and then Yost would grab the bus back in the evening with my Dad.

      2. One of the things that annoyed me about the discussion of the movie was that the “analysts” acted as if viewers were completely pig ignorant and couldn’t possibly make up their own minds about it.

For example, one of them carped that the leader of the Thugee cell was dressed like Ghandi. The film was made in 1939 and, if I’m not mistaken, Ghandi was often mentioned in the news during that time. He led a resistance movement against the Raj. That, of course, was like wearing a black hat in a western.

Maybe the producers thought that because Ghandi was seen as a leader, dressing that character in a similar manner would signify him as the same for his group. But, no, the smart people decided that wasn’t the reason. It had to be racism and white supremacy.

The problem with wokies is that they think that because they’re “woke”, they’re automatically smarter and better than we deplorables and that we’re incapable of figuring things out on our own and forming our own opinions.

Maybe it’s time to move on.

        1. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Mankiewicz

Ben is a cocksucker who is a commentator on The Young Turks , nuff said.
He is the grand nephew of Joseph Mankiewicz, legendary screenwriter, producer, director at major studios like MGM, 20th Century Fox Yada yada.
That’s probably how he got his current gig.

He wasn’t always like that, guess he doesn’t want to get his azz Cancel Cultured.
Go along to get along in Hollyweird.

I wouldn’t let the basturdo get ya down.

        2. That bad eh?
Guess I’ll press mute when his silly stuff comes on in the future. He otherwise, used to be quite informative.

  7. Stephen Harper gave a decent talk two or three days ago, at a Canadians security gabfest, where he (a) stated that China was the biggest threat facing democracies, and (b) there has been an increasing divide between the working classes and the ruling elites, a divide exasperated by the global pandemic.

Yesterday the Toronto Star published a piece attacking Mr. Harper for being a cold warrior on China. Nothing to criticize about China, eh?

    1. So why didn’t Harper DO MORE when he had the reins in his hands. He could have gone full Medieval and ditched the worst of the CBCBC (I meant that!!) and its ilk, ditched the PS unions, and a million other things, all done under “Emergency” legislation, but went tiny bit by tiny bit instead. When the majority of the country want to work for the good of the country, then and only then can “normal” legislation actually help the country. In the opposite case, the leader MUST go Medieval to help the country.

In the case of Canada, it needs to become two or three or more smaller countries now in order to satisfy the needs of its various groups of people. Stop Peter from robbing Paul and let both Peter and Paul exist on their own terms. Rant over.

      1. John, I agree with what you say. During the Harper years I would attend those CIVITAS and Manning conference confabs, mostly on the university “personal development allowance” dime. During those conferences, rumors would swirl that Prime Minister Harper wouldb show up in the evening, at some reception or other, to privately glad-hand conference attendees with no media present. But at no time did Harper ever show up to give a speech at those conferences, on the record with media present. For to do so would label him a “conservative” to the media — and he feared getting slagged for it.

So I never bothered to show up at night to shake Harper’s hand. I have a soft spot for him — his MA thesis advisor and I shared the same office during our graduate studies, and studied for the PhD comprehensives together. But once he said to the media he was not a conservative.

    2. China does not fund Islamic terrorists that kill people. That’s Iran. Harper is wrong yet again.

“there has been an increasing divide between the working classes and the ruling elites”

Good. The ‘working classes’ are stupid and need direction from their superiors.

      1. ” Good. The ‘working classes’ are stupid and need direction from their superiors. ”

        You’d make a good Nazi.
Not withstanding , Goodwins Law and all that.

        1. The Nazis were all about pandering to the Common Folk salt of the Earth peons and all that.

          1. Unlike the communists who pandered to those same people by promising them the world.

          2. The Nazis were ruthless blood thirsty SOB’s and a few other nasty adjectives I won’t delve into.
If you weren’t part of the Common Folk salt of the earth, well, we know how that turned out and all that.

          3. The Nazis were amateurs compared to the Soviet Russians and Chicoms. It is interesting that millions of Eastern Europeans who escaped the communists for Germany were sent home at the point of American and Allied bayonets, possibly hundreds of thousands of them to their death.

The Nazis were confident in their butchery because the world did nothing about the Turkish butchery of millions of Christians in WWI. The Germans are still being punished 76 years later. The Russians and Chicoms have received no punishment for 100 million deaths. Apparently no lesson was learned yet again.

  8. Today the Globe and Mail has a piece by one Gary Mason, one of the paper’s brigade of uniformly left-wing writers, explaining that, increasingly, the older generations in Canada will be transferring income and wealth to younger generations. He hints at, but doesn’t discuss, government tax policies to capture some of these intergenerational transfers. He suggests a wealth tax to start.

Over the past months I have been beating the drum about the coming Great Inflation. I won’t belabor this here — there will be plenty of time for that — but the Great Inflation will absolutely savage the younger generations. Older people who have built up the right assets, not so much. So watch out for increasing taxes on wealth

    O

  9. And now your diversity is our strength news for today. Toronto Sun reports on a black man who keeps getting arrested, and then is quickly released by the courts every time.

  10. If you haven’t already noticed, Rebel News now has a comedian as part of their team. Here is his take on the “she-cession”. Mrs. Dear Leader makes a cameo appearance, in what is her first public appearance since she was forced to kiss the Dear Leader publicly last July 1st (her disdain for the Dear Leader’s lips were readily apparent at the time).

  11. Apparently the media is still outraged that Ford the racist bastard said something mean to an Indian. The person in question was on TV this morning explaining he lives every day with racism and colonialism. Just ignore his MPP salary, taxpayer funded Toronto apt., taxpayer funded plane trips, and all the free stuff he gets as an Indian.

  12. Another great collection of educated people ripping apart the worldwide government response to Whan Flu.
Take away: WHO and USA fell for Chinese propaganda.
The Cruise ship experience was a sample , a petrie dish, and could have been used as a basis for stats and policies.
Who and CDC set up panic and fear mongering.

  13. GOP Congressman attends white supremacist event, no one cares.

    https://www.huffpost.com/entry/paul-gosar-white-nationalist-tweet_n_60468e6bc5b6e6abac820769

“Fuentes — a 22-year-old Holocaust denier who attended the deadly 2017 white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia — invited Gosar to speak at the group’s second annual conference on Feb. 26 in Orlando, Florida.

Gosar delivered a nearly 20-minute speech to the assembled group of young white nationalists before Fuentes took the stage himself, declaring that “white people are done being bullied” and that America needs to protect its “white demographic core.””

    1. I say good. By the way, that was not a “deadly white supremacist rally” in Charlottesville. That is a complete distortion of what took place. The danger was leftists mobs, blocking streets and threatening people wanting to save their statues.

      1. Your lies about Charlottesville and love of associating with holocaust denier and anti-semite Nick Fuentes are noted.

        1. What’s even more interesting is that, drum roll please…..
          We….. don’t ….. give …. a ….flying ….Fook ….about …..what …..you …..note .

  14. Off topic but I’m in need of some advice.
Spouse is invited to a baby shower. In lieu of baby crap the mother has requested
a children’s book so the little tyke can read them when she gets older.
I ordered one from Amazon. Due to arrive Monday. The book is Little Black Sambo. Do you think it’s appropriate??

  15. Ok I spit coffee out all over the place. It is only appropriate if 1 of 2 things happen …1 the kid is black or 2.. your spouse goes in black face to give it to the mother…. Steve O
