Steyn

Anyone looking to keep up with Mark Steyn should head on over to his website steynonline.com.

Of particular note is the audio version of the Mark Steyn show which you can listen to here.

Yesterday’s episode is a good one. You can listen to it straight from that page or as I like to do download it to your phone or device so you can listen to it anywhere. Link here.

Fun fact, Steyn regularly looks in on Small Dead Animals to see what’s catching our eye and what we’re saying about it.

Aye, indeed he does. And he thinks Our Kate is just tops! 🙂

  2. Also a longtime Steyn fan – from back in the early days of the Conrad Black NP (before the Aspers ruined it)

That Steyn is still standing after all the left (and some on the “right”) have thrown at him is remarkable.

So it perplexes me why he does not denounce the election fraud with more vigor. Case in point his recent interview on “the Kenney Report”.
Kennys position was that Trump and his base are delusional liars for saying the election was stolen and not conceding. The courts have spoken!!

Rather than firmly rebutting that lie, Steyn moved past it by saying America has long had corrupt elections (not like this one they haven’t).

Let me make it clear I could not walk a mile in Steyns shoes – but letting Kenny get away with that nonsense is to fall short.
Steyn certainly hasn’t minced his words when it comes to the threat of Islam on the West – so I cant understand why he would let Kenny’s egregious lies go largely unchallenged

    1. Dear Ward
Indeed it is a dangerous time to be opinionated in America…Mike Lindell did a great presentation on how this election fraud was perpetrated and, of course, the left went after his pillow business….I am not sure they were successful as my order for more pillows came with a caveat that they were so busy providing for all the new orders, that there would be a one week delay…You go Mike….but the relative of the Governor of Georgia died in a car ‘accident’ aka car bomb attack, when the Governor indicated he would allow an investigation into the Georgia federal election…its one thing to have ‘them’ threaten you, its quite another to have them threaten to hurt your loved ones…and make no mistake there is a LONG history of ‘arkancides’….you know two bullets to the back of the head…so make no mistake, they are not kidding with the threats….law suits are coming, investigations are moving forward and changes are being demanded to the fraudulent changes that were implemented before the election…so l would prefer Mark keep his powder dry for the real battle, coming soon.

Sophisticated people everywhere read small dead animals. There are a few retards here though. UnMeathead as an example.

Hey! Leave poor unme alone. SDA is all he’s got since his mommy caught him with the skin mag and took it away.

  4. I’ve been a Mark Steyn Fan since the days when he had the back page in The Western Report Magazine published in Alberta. Also read him in the National Post back then as well. Bought his books. Love him.

I don’t recall the actual name of that magazine I mentioned. I think Ezra took it over for a time then the evil Triad took him out of it.

I was a Rush Listener as well, so I caught Mark subbing for Rush many times over the years.

Mark Steyn is my political Steely Dan. You never get tired of listening.

    1. Ezra Levant founded the Western Standard magazine in 2004. He sold the magazine prior to founding The Rebel.

      1. However,….

The Western Standard was founded in the editorial vein of the Alberta Report, and hired several of their writers, including Candis McLean, Kevin Steel, Colby Cosh, Terry O’Neill, Ric Dolphin and Ted Byfield.

  5. He is so accurate on his predictions in his books. Got most of them and reread them every so often. Saw him on stage here in Toronto and just a riot with his song about the burqa. Sure he is careful to watch for muslims on the attack.

  6. I love Mark Steyn and have been following him since his days writing for the National Post, he and the late great Christie Blatchford…but I DID NOT KNOW about this site till he mentioned it a few days ago and so now here I am….and more then prepared to donate some cash to help with this info flow….and like Mark, I check you out every morning now…just to see how mental the world has gone overnight…good stuff and what else would you expect from a girl from Saskatchewan…??

  7. I will never forget sarcastically picking up a free National Post in a Nortel cafeteria one lunch hour circa 1999, to see what wishy washy commie corporate Liberal Party rot this new establishment organ had on offer… and instead encountering this Mozart named Mark Steyn. What a shock to see such sparkling, funny, beautiful writing in the service of liberty and good sense on actual newsprint. Astounding and inspiring.

  8. His book *After America* is a great read…written 10 years ago,he was prophetic.

“We” could do worse than using Mark Steyn as our lead scout 🙂

  10. BTW…if you ever think about breaching your Capitol in Seal Town, or Polar Bear City, or whatever you call it. NO iDIOT PHONES. NO SELFIES. The RCMP will be all over that stuff. Just a head’s up. Nome sayin’?

  11. Oh alright then seeing as we are on, what, where and when bragging rights.

First caught the name when the BBC tried to do a follow on to Alister Cookes “Letter from America”. Got a feeling it was called “Dispatches from Gotham” not too sure. I had become a regular listener to “Letter from America” following in my fathers footsteps but I didn’t think much of the new upstart. If I remember right the format was a little alien but then I guess we just wanted more of the same which of course couldn’t happen.

However that same Mark Steyn became a revelation when the venerable (not then Lord) C. Black esq sometime owner of the Daily Telegraph started him as a columnist / opinion writer.

Been a seriously addicted follower ever since.

In mentioning the Daily Telegraph I must add that Conrad Black transformed the paper (and the Spectator) I actually took yearly subscriptions, there one could also read the writings of loverly wife of Mr Black, Barbara Amiel and a girl called Zoe Heller who was so cute she was hot (what ever happened to her?).

Anyway good luck to Mark, my major disappointment of the last 4 years is that Mr President 45 (also the real 46er) didn’t take the opportunity to ask Mark how to reform the judicial system and while at it give him a pardon for the ridiculous charade on going in the so called courts of justice in NY.

And Mark if you are reading …. There was once a column you wrote about the NHS back in Telegraph days, my late father after reading that would go out and buy the DT every Thursday? just to read your columns. I’ve never seen the column again … any chance you might remember it and dust it off for nostalgia ?
