    1. Yep Jaimie, and they called me last week to “enquire” if they could count on me supporting them in the coming election. My reply was a very terse, “When you guys start acting and behaving like conservatives, I might consider it, until then, go fly a kite”, or something similar in the flying kite part.

  9. Why do we live in a world where a few dozen morons paid by corporations and banks who are afraid for their own skin get to pass laws that affect the other 99 percent of decent people?

    1. No Government should have the right to take away a persons ability to defend themselves from attack by a predator. Whether that predator is four legged, two legged, white, black or polka dot should be irrelevant !

      1. It is very clear, Canadians must not even think about self defense or personal protection, that is the role of our diverse and impotent police. The state must maintain its monopoly on legal violence.

      2. Effemm, because they are predators as well, and they prefer us fearful and compliant, and an armed populace is harder to control, and they really don’t care about other predators attacking us either. If we think this is the worst of it, we are stupid, they are lining things up for a BIG change. Something about a “reset” I heard.

    While the government is trying to prevent deaths by firearm,they are ignoring the horrendous death toll caused by DiHydrogen MonOxide.

    To me it explains a lot of what is happening in our world right now, especially when rich guys like Bill Gates of Hell and David Suzuki are spouting off on subjects (AGW) they know little to nothing about.
    And of course our own trust fund brats of Pierre and Justin Trudeau who dedicated their lives to mucking up everyone else’s lives in Canada.

  13. For the last 20 some odd years i have invited a half dozen friends to the place up north.
    We drink we barbecue we shoot at paper targets.
    All participating have firearm acquisition licenses yet we only shoot pellet guns,keeps the noise down plus the neighbours don’t freak out .
    My pellet gun is good for 1200fps with alloy pellets.
    And oh yeah,guess where the neighbours want to hang for the weekend.

    Can you still be a criminal?
    And when it declares itself to be guilty of genocide,with no consequences, and commences to declare war on the citizens..Actively denying our civil rights,denying our historic and traditional rights..Under the declaration of a Medical Emergency a so called pandemic..
    Followed by a stated intention to steal our property,along with the bald statement that ,in the State’s opinion we have no right to defend ourselves from human predators.
    As a licensed owner of a restricted firearm,I am well aware I have fewer civil rights than the Crack Dealers down the street.
    An amazing state of affairs,leaving me to conclude that the Just Us System value that Crackhead much higher than they do those of us who pay their wages..

    In Can ahh Duh,productive behaviour,the creation of new wealth is discouraged.
    But being a parasite is considered The New Middle Class.?
    What the likes of Bill Blair are braying is Crime Pays..
    They probably know this because it has worked pretty damn well for them so far.

  15. I can assure you my son and daughter are gutted by this crap. Both are keen players who get on the field every three weeks for the past few years. Commeraderie, team work, friendship, responsibility, trigger safety, athleticism are all things they have learned or enjoyed through airsoft.
    Ironically it’s also the most multicultural environment they spend time at in their entire lives. It’s a great community that’s safety oriented, welcoming and fun.
    Now after a full year of no field play this crap drops from Ottawa. Justin just minted two life long conservative voters.
    It’s admirable to see them both penning letters to their local MP of their own accord.

  16. I heard today that PM Karen is dropping the minimums on certain drug and gun crimes because they mainly effect natives and blacks. Whitey hunter bad, Gangbanger good, bloody racist laws.

  17. I’d be shocked if the Liberals didn’t pull this from the legislation. Just to say see we do listen to criticism, we adjusted, we will settle for “just the evil assault rifles” TM.

    Then in a few years they will come for “just” a few more.

    When you compromise with evil you are still accepting evil.

  18. Gun laws are aimed at humans, not guns, being unarmed is a choice, being disarmed is a prelude to an attack. 15 years ago Venezuelans were told that they didn’t need guns in their Socialist paradise, within 10 years they were eating their pets.
