    How’s that war on drugs going folks? The Libs are the first to say leave the criminals alone, but Canadian gun owners are somehow dangerous to society in their mentally ill minds.

    These are the same people who cheer on ANTIFA thugs destroying their own cities while “gun owners” peacefully oppose the destruction and call for better policing. The anti-gun crowed then shouts “defund the police”, and disarm honest citizens, as we all watch shops looted and set on fire.

  8. Gun control legislation has, as its ultimate goal to disarm all citizens. Until it reaches that point it gives police an opportunity to increasingly criminalize gun owners while giving politicians the opportunity to do a virtue signaling dance to entertain the psychopaths and mindless mush who elect them. The Spawn has signaled that he’s coming for your guns …eventually. In the meantime, if you still own a gun you will be treated like a third rate citizen. PVC pipe ….sealed up …. buried somewhere…………

Guns buried somewhere only give you the satisfaction that the thugs did not take them, you still don’t have them when you need them.

It was a suggestion for people to think of something besides bending over and taking it like the good obedient ovine population of Canadian gun owners on the road to becoming former gun owners. Gun control isn’t about safety and common sense hunting, it’s about making the state supreme and safe from citizens with strange ideas like belief in natural individual rights and liberty.

        1. You’re preaching to converted, you also don’t seem to know Canadian gun ownership reality. This lack of understanding it typically a source of the PVC pipe/canoe trip accident ideas. Are you aware that all legally owned handguns in Canada are already registered for decades and that if you’re going to make yours disappear loosing your gun license will be the least of your trouble?
          We are living in a police state and we are not free people.
          The sooner this shithole of a country collapses the better.

  10. The object of the game of politics is to obtain votes by promising or introducing legislation that will convince voters that your party is helping Canada become a better place.

    And the object of the game also includes having an opposition that fights back when any of that legislation is harmful, insignificant or unconstitutional.

    The Conservative party of Canada needs to get out there and actually become the opposition. Sending emails to party members asking them to send money is fine. But for God’s sake, Mr. O’Toole, get out there and do something!!

  13. Reality will demonstrate the folly.
    The day this becomes law the deaths attributed to guns will not change.
    Specifically the deaths from gang warfare at Jane and Finch.

    What I would like is that someone sitting in the HoC propose an amendment to the bill that would disallow any sitting MP (including cabinet) from having armed security.
    They don’t want guns around? Ok, no problem, they go first.
