Here Comes The Calvary

Just the News;

The author of a tweet introduced by Democrats at the Senate impeachment trial said Thursday her statement “we are bringing the Calvary” was a clear reference to a prayer vigil organized by churchgoers supporting Trump and not a call for military-like violence at the Capitol riot as portrayed by Rep. Eric Swalwell.

Jennifer Lynn Lawrence also said she believes the California Democrat and House impeachment manager falsified her tweet, adding a blue check mark to the version he introduced at the trial suggesting she was a verified Twitter user with more clout when in fact her Twitter account never had a blue check and has never been verified.

Reminder: Eric Swalwell, Dem congressman linked to Chinese spy …

    1. Swalwell has just proven what an ignorant “genius” he is.

OTOH … Swalwell can tell you all about Jesus Christ’s marriage to Mary Magdalene, his 5 offspring, and connection to the Illuminati. Because he saw it in a movie with Tom Hanks.

What’s his District again? West Hollywood?

  1. “”Calvary” — which means a public display of Christ’s crucifixion —”

It means “Skull Hill,” which is the reported site of the crucifixion.

  2. Don’t do twitter twaddle so don’t understand what a blue check mark is, and don’t really want to know.
When a cesspooler in good standing makes a derogatory remark we should say thank you but please stand way down wind when you speak.

    1. you are making the assumption that this is a trial, it’s not, it’s a bill of attainder, so they can do whatever they want, and it’s allowed until a court says it’s not

    1. Exasperated. I’m a church-going Christian and a reader of military history, and it has brought a laugh to me how many people mix up “Calvary” and “cavalry”. It happens a lot, and one should be forgiving. Except in this case, with this post, Stalwell is making a legal argument, in what is effectively a court of law. In such a case, sloppy use of words is inexcusable.

      Great posted article btw.

      1. The two words that always get messed up which make me laugh and/or cringe are “ordinance” and “ordnance”.

  3. In a democratic, free speech, open society, a misplaced consonant can imprison you?
    Cancel you?
Quite a country we got here.

Dumb denizens. Laughable legal system. Mendacious media. Perfidious politicians.
    Nothing left but alliteration.
    And lamentation.

  4. Telling the truth is what got Jesus crucified.

Telling it is what is getting Donald Trump impeached, by the spiritual descendants of Pilate, who scoffed at the very idea of Truth, and the Sanhedrin, who saw Jesus as a threat to the deal they had made with the Romans to stay in power.

(How could Jesus be their King—much less Trump their president? They have no king but the Emperor of China, for whom the God of Israel is a superstition of a savage tribe the Middle Kingdom has not brought to heel, yet.)

    1. “Linked to” as in worked as a volunteer on his election campaign, introduced other Chinese “students” as volunteers to work on his campaign, got one of them placed in his office as an intern, brought in donations, cultivated him to be used as an “agent of influence” and probably compromised him to turn him to be directed and in the future used as an intelligence source.

She was similarly “linked” to some other politicians, he is the highest placed one the FBI has admitted knowing about.

  5. David Schoen, used this argument this afternoon. It was Glorious!

After the shock wave dissipated, you could have heard a pin drop, but he didn’t stop there. More ‘s followed!
