  3. Each time I fly to my house in B. C., I’m reminded that I live in a police state and that one should always obey the Eleventh Commandment: “Thou shalt not question.”

    During my last trip, my wallet and keys, which I put into a vest pocket, finally aroused suspicion. When I, in a wiseacre manner, reminded the Fraulein Stasi pageant contestant who looked what was in that pocket, I got snark in return. Then she proceeded to go rooting through my wallet and rummaging through my cards.

    Yup, I feel real safe in this country and I have to be grateful to have my rights and privacy freely violated.

    Oh, by the way, Air Canada now threatens anyone who refuses to wear a mask with the threat of being met at their destination and being given a ticket. For good measure, there’s also the threat of having one’s name being given to Transport Canada, presumably to be put on a no-fly list.

  5. I don’t miss flying. I watched on several occasions as the same femi-Nazi would rummage through every woman’s purse she could get even though the x-ray (?) machine gave a clear picture. It was obvious to me she was just a creep in uniform. I went thru the “random” wand and pat down every flight I took for years. FSJ has a bad reputation for excessive power mad searches.

    I occasionally hear a comment on how safe some people feel. I cannot stop myself from pointing out that a test run allowed 95% of the weapons through security. Then I remark that I would feel secure if the security were highly trained law enforcement. “Does that look like highly trained law enforcement?”

    Red faces from those feeling secure.

    Frankly, I’m surprised I can still fly.

    I quit after the last Air Canada flight I took. It was miserable.

    1. OT, I traveled about for or five times a year on business before I retired. I have noted to my friends, family, and coworkers, on a number of occasions, that Air Canada suffers from an acute case of a “superiority complex”.
      Unfortunately, now WestJet seems to be heading in the same direction. It ain’t like we have a lot of carrier choice either.

      1. Yup. WorstJet’s almost as bad as Air Can’tada now. Much of that came after that twit Ed Sims took over as boss and seems to have become worse after Onex took the company private.

        Both airlines have a “love or shove it” attitude.

      Especially with the new youngsters that are working there now, particularly with the morning shift. One of the older security agents is actually quite a nice lady, as it turned out that her son used to be my father’s boss. That gave us numerous reasons to chat with each other. Unfortunately, those opportunities stopped when the airlines started horsing around with their schedules, thanks to the phony plague.

      As for Edmonton, I think that being civilized while performing one’s job is cause for dismissal. Many of the nastiest security people there impress me as being certifiable. The women act like they’re love-lorn bulldykes and the men as effeminate soyboys.

      1. That really confirms the viciousness of this. I would call it police brutality. We really are living in a police state. Since the majority of deaths are in care homes, the lock downs and curfews are for totalitarian control and economic destruction. No wonder people are suspicious of their governments and of their messages regarding the virus. They are destroying lives– not saving them.

So the fact they went for the headshot shows they are out there for sport. Plus, they water cannoned the female and not the male right beside her. So you can guarantee this crew sat behind all the armor laughing and shooting their water cannon for sport at females because it’s the only liquid they could shoot at a female. This limp crew would get destroyed on a even footing and they know it.

  11. January 2020, I remember I was skeptical already. Most were scrambling aboard the panic porn train. Was Fauci demanding masks back then, or declaring anyone hoarding N95s a war criminal?

    Here we are in the terminal phase of “I will never admit I was taken in by the scamdemic”. Only about 6 weeks away from the 1 year anniversary of “two weeks to flatten the curve”.

    Admitting one was duped, increases in difficulty as a function of time. Not likely a year or more in, that anyone admits they were scammed. No one wants to look a fool. Better to double down on the “we’re all gonna die” narrative, and look intelligent instead.

    1. Our governments tend to double down on the mistakes they have made. Keeping them in place and lying to the people what a great job these mistakes have been.
      Slap in a non disclosure contract and repeat in another area of mistakes.
      You end up with a distorted country where our politicians now add in deflections where they add it white privileges or some other idiot idea to keep the masses confused to the massive amount of incompetence they have created.

      Common sense becomes the enemy of our state and must be eradicated.

    1. Court cases gave been perused elsewhere — occasionally successful, like Portugal. Are there cases regarding the lockdowns being pursued in Canada? I hope do. Of course media would not report. Surely the lockdowns violate charter rights. I think we could even question whether or not this is a legitimate pandemic. Definitions have been changed and healthy people are not at risk.

      1. I have seen multiple articles from Europe where they plan to launch class action suits from Canada against the over reach.
        Apparently there is no class action in Europe.

  16. This is going to get worse. As people struggle to deal with long term unemployment and being legally barred from contact with other people, many will conclude that they have nothing left to lose in a street battle with the police.

    1. I think increased use of drugs will happen first. Drug overdose deaths have already doubled in some places and are causing more deaths than Covid. Why are politicians not paying attention? I am do disappointed in Doug Ford and Christine Elliot. They are both bring lead around by the nose. Their “leadership” is destroying our society.

What have we even heard from O’toole the fool since he got elected? When they jet off to warm places on vacations, while insisting we lock down, wear masks, and avoid our families and friends, they really do demonstrate it’s rules for thee, but not for me, and prove this is a plandemic, designed to keep us fearful and under their thumbs. Those of us that see through these lies, should be looking over our shoulders, as we are now a threat to them.

In the early days they downplayed the risks ( e.g. minimal risk of human to human transmission) to avoid having to put in place strict measures for travellers like Taiwan did. The WHO was against outright travel bans from China because of the economic impact it would have on China “”So that was really why the [WHO] emergency committee in January advised against imposing travel bans…”

    While, of course, nobody wants to die, people should go about their busines bearing in mind to do things that will keep them healthy.
    That would be advice regardless of the Wuhan virus.
    When one looks at the current scheme of things, one sees destruction caused by self-appointed dicktators (sic), yeah, somebody voted for them, though they took it as though they can dicktate (sic) to everybody exactly what to do.
    Once the politicians get so deep in their in the ideology, they just can’t find a way out. What ever move they make is subject to approval by the mass media cartel. It is the way of dicktatorship (sic).
    I know this first hand, I grew up with it and experienced it, thought that coming to this country, would escape the bloody hands of dicktators (sic).

    Apparently they will find you where ever you go, except perhaps Burkina Faso.
