    1. I’m kind of questioning MLK on this one as well. By age 7 or 8, a kid can most certainly prounounce “freedom” – unless she has a speech impediment. Then again, maybe he was a poor judge of age and the child was 2 or 3.

  19. Do you qualify as a POC … if you don’t actually “look” like a POC? Kampala looks like a Southern Italian or Southern Spanish descent … she has always looked WHITE (with a nice tan) to my eye. I would never have guessed her complex genealogy.

  23. Has anybody researched these events? The Oakland Civil Rights March took place on October 19, 1963, two months after King’s March in Washington. Kamala Harris was born on October 20, 1964. She could not have been there.
