        This is an an example of ugly art with no thought except that cars suck and mess up the environment. This art work messes up my environment. I prefer indigenous art work on building walls.

        I absolutely love Haida and Coastal Salish art in the city and at the airport too! And I paid well to own the few pieces I have, supporting the local artists in their crafts and buying from those who knew what was being said in each piece. I also love my Baker Lake art prints from Nunavut and those from Japan.

        Perhaps, your artistic tastes need education. For centuries, cultures have learned to copy and produce admirable things. That is how we learned from others from day one. Cultural appropriation can be a complement to another culture. It continues today as China appropriates our best research.

        Each to their own taste. I find our local art to be very beautiful.

        1. I’ve seen the same thing in Fort St. John. I moved away more than 40 years ago, but I’ve been going back regularly now that I’m working on settling my father’s estate.

  19. My gym, Goodlife, here in Burlington is over 60,000 sq ft and over the last month or so it has been cut down to 10 members at one time! I have not seen even 10 there, at the most 3-4. They do everything to appease the Covid gods, constant cleaning, shutting every hour for a time to clean the whole gym, always wearing a mask, proper spacing, etc. Now the locker room is closed to us. I have a fitness trainer who cleans any equipment I use before and after I use it.

    Now I have wear gym clothes before I arrive at the gym. Has anyone noticed winter is here! This is just f&^%$%g stupid. No one has detected covid at our gym, doesn’t matter.
