Via Zerohedge: Just twelve hours after it was filed, the US Supreme Court has officially put Texas’s lawsuit against Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin on the docket, meaning the case will be heard.
UPDATE: Louisiana has signed on to the Texas suit.

Evening update: *I think* SCOTUS has voted 6 -3 to hear the Texas case, now joined by at least 7 other states. GA, MI, WI, and PA have until Thursday at 3pm to respond. There are numerous reports on it, but also confusion.

    It will be easy, they just won’t. The New York Times already sold out to China, judging by their reporting. Who knows what favors Carlos Slim can extract from the ChiComs for the trivial favor.

  2. Texas is essentially saying to the courts that their State is fulfilling their Constitutional Obligations in this election in following their Constitutional Mandated Laws and these other States broke the law and their Constitutional Obligations.

    2. There are now eights states which have joined the Texas suit: Louisiana, Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, Mississippi, South Carolina, South Dakota.
      Why my conservative Midwestern state hasn’t joined them, I don’t know. I’m going to contact our AG.

I was reading or watching somewhere that electors can not be sent to the electoral college by a state (or perhaps it was particular states) if there is a dispute about the election that comes up before a certain date and they have not resolved it (or followed the process to resolve it) by a certain date (fast approaching). If this case being heard takes too long before the supreme court then nobody reaches the 270 votes needed in the electoral college and a different process kicks in.

    No particular legal insight here, just an observation. Is Texas trying to #StopTheSteal on it’s own?

          1. No, not the Senate, CONGRESS votes, based on STATE delegation majorities, not by each member. GOP has the majority in both current and the next Congress. And NANZI gets to preside. DELICIOUS

      2. Actually, in that situation, a specially convened congress of one delegate from each state vote for the president, not the House.

        30 states have Republican administrations. Trump still wins.

        Not that I expect that to happen, mind you, on Dec. 14 the electoral college will vote for Biden.

    1. Yep – Texas votes don’t matter if enough fraud votes are counted. And it makes sense, that of all the States in the Union, Texas would be the one with enough stones to stand up and call the RF (Rogue Four) to account.

      Would be a joy to see at least 30 other states step up with lawsuits of their own. After all, their voters were discounted too – their legitimate votes flooded out by a sea of fake votes, allowed and sanctioned by officials in those rogue states.

    1. That’s what stopped the recounts in FL and forced Gore to concede. Google tried to tell me otherwise, but it was 7-2 on that issue.

      The argument is going to be whether the election theft is so big the courts can’t do anything about it. It’s kind of like the Biden laptop, and the Chinese spies. Stories so big nobody in the MSM dare report them.

      1. If there was uncertainty beforehand, FAUX’s abrupt left turn was obvious on election night. Signs beforehand were things like Newt Gingrich being silenced mid-sentence for saying GEORGE SOROS. Newt, of all people. Surprised he still appears there, his fees must be worth it, somehow.

  15. It is curious that we haven’t seen more states join Texas in court, since the way the electoral college works wholesale fraud in 4 states disenfranchises every American, not just the citizens of the 4 states where fraud occurred.

      That’s already happened by the fraud. Texas is claiming that by allowing massive fraud, which PA has, Texas has been disenfranchised. Since there is no way to order a new election in the case of the POTUS, the Constitution has prescribed a different process involving elected officials. Congressional and Senate do overs have been ordered in the past on less evidence.

      A Democrat who lost her congressional race is taking it to the House. I guess that the crime here is too big to be punished is your take.

      The courts are loath to intervene in what is considered a state’s jurisdiction which includes running their own version of the election. The question never answered is how many legitimate votes were in those boxes of ballots counted after midnight on election day.
      Well before November 3, this blog site linked the Veritas videos showing the ballot harvesting and gathering of names, any names, to assign a ballot to. The Democrats didn’t even try to hide what they were doing; they were just a bit more blatant about it this election.

        Besides, SCOTUS could make some rulings that would make this kind of activity far more difficult in the future. This is about future elections as much as this one, and the Texas suit points that out. If Democrats get control of all branches, they will simply change the rules so that they can never lose again, like they did in Washington and Colorado. All elections are mail in and no Republican has won a state wide election in those states since.

        Postal workers are heavily partisan Democrats.
