Toronto Star writer, Evelyn Kwong, has successfully shut down a “pop-up broth bar” in Toronto … because the owner is a white woman:

Sadly, the frightened owner of Ripe Nutrition, Alexandra Baird, has capitulated to the mob. With a vomit bag at the ready, read the comments to Baird’s Instagram post. I would walk across the street to avoid encountering any of these holier-than-thou morons. Is this really what Canada has become?!?

One would logically conclude that Racist Kwong will next be demanding the closure of sandwich shops and burger joints not owned by white people and pizza restaurants not owned by Italians. Waiting, waiting . . .

  11. So wonder what Ms Kwong thinks of her fellow country…..people, that own Sushi and Chinese restaurants. And to expand upon Robert’s trend of thinking, the recently opened Taco Bell near me primarily employs East Indians……. Maybe Kwong only has an issue with white people profiting from Asia cuisine and will leave her country…..people, and my new neighbours alone.

    Oh one last thing: if she is going to worry about taking a couple of food products and massively (read sarcastically) profiting from them…..I think we should help advance her cause and move the defining threshold of what profiting is and include as profit (as Marx defined it) what has accrued to her via the saved physical labour to type along with the lessen use of electron energy to display her shorten sentence.

    One western woman sells dumplings and broth invented in China, presumably. No patents of course. She makes $26.

  27. The core of her problem, it seems, is that she feels incredibly inferior to white people for whatever reason. She’s a self-hating Chinese, but completely lacks the introspection to see it. She felt inferior, so she threw away her lunches at school. Then she started “re-embracing” her culture at some point. But she never, ever addressed her inferiority issues and still feels it acutely. I’d say she even tries to bury it in her language choices and other actions.

    But now, being a committed, self-righteous leftist, she no longer needs to address her core problem: she simply attacks what she’s projecting to make herself feel better–except it won’t, because the underlying issue remains. No matter how many white people she wokely destroys, she’ll never get more than a momentary surge in endorphins, so she’ll have to continue her crusade until she either grows up or dies. And each success (or failure) will furhter encourage her.

    I’m angry at what she’s done, but I also feel a modicum of pity for her. She’s a sad, pathetic woman who seems to get off on playing for the mob.
